RE: [redacted] / Complaint ID: [redacted] CWRV Sales is in receipt of the rebuttal response forwarded by Mr*** Unfortunately, we disagree with Mr [redacted] accounts of the events leading up to our office’s receipt of his Revdex.com complaint and regret he has not afforded the dealership an opportunity to address his concerns Although we only recently received this complaint, it is our understanding CWRV Sales has made several attempts to work with Mr [redacted] when he initially raised concerns on or about August 30, It was during this time CWRV Sales’ management suggested they bring the RV in so that the service team could inspect and diagnose the issues of concern In response, Mr [redacted] raised the possibility of trading in the RV and the parties began to discuss options, that included CWRV Sales providing quotes and suggestions as well as Mr***’ request for pricing on two specific trailers On or about September 1st CWRV Sales called him back to go over purchase options and he gave CWRV Sales every reason to believe he would bring the RV in However, there was no further contact between the parties until our recent receipt of the Revdex.com complaint Upon receipt of the complaint CWRV Sales attempted to contact both [redacted] and Virgie [redacted] and left messages October 5th On October 10th, [redacted] called back to advise he wouldn’t work with CWRV Sales’ proposal On October 12th, CWRV Sales again called the [redacted] in an attempt to address the issues and was advised they would not return the RV for any repairs We regret the [redacted] are not willing to work with its service department to address their concerns However, without their cooperation we believe there is nothing CWRV Sales can do to resolve this matter To that end, we respectfully request your office acknowledge CWRV Sales’ efforts and close the complaint with a neutral or favorable evaluation Regards, CWRV Sales

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, Robert ***Their stance of taking only 50% of the damage hasn't changed since I contacted their corporate office. They wanted me to pay them $plus labor and they would repair itIf they're saying it's 50% their fault, then how about paying me the money and I'll go through my insuranceI refuse to pay them a dime for the damage they did to my windshield

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:In the first response the dealership argued that the issue with the rusting engine bay was because the RV was delivered from the manufacturer site to the dealership in Florida and the snow could rust the metal partsI rebutted that the delivery was done in April, so the argument of snow is really weakIn the last response they argued that the humidity in Florida could rust the metal parts (look like the snow argument was dropped)I responded that I visited a [redacted] dealership to double check in the [redacted] model, I did inspect used and brand-new units for sale, also used units in service, I did not find any rust conditions in the engine bayIt is not the humidity of Florida, I was living in Florida for more than years, I had owned many, many cars since, I never see before a rusted like that, for sure something happened, the engine bay was in contact with water or a corrosive environment for a while and the dealership concealed this situation to meLasted months since the manufacturer date of delivery until the unit was finally sold to me (delivery date 04/2016, sale date 11/2017)What happened in the months period? Was the RV all the time in the dealership? The RV was a show unit? it was used for rental? it was a demonstrative unit? Whatever happened, the dealership never disclosed the rusted condition nor anything elseThis confirms my suspect that the mileage was altered, rusted engine bay, months for finally sold it, DEF fluid empty signal after 2,miles, "brand new" unit in service months before selling, and so on.The other problem, the RV has a location issue for both batteries, the chassis battery is located inside the cabin and the house batteries are located inside the houseI think it is a design problem not in compliance with regulations for locating batteries indoor.I will have a trouble re-selling itI am really upset; the dealership concealed the issue the with the rusted engine bay Sincerely, Seriozha [redacted]

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 14, 2015/07/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The company name is Camping WorldThe address is *** This is the type of response that I expected from the home office if falls right in line to the way I was treated at the storeNow I see why the employees act the way they do in the storeI have gone back to the store and asked for a copy of my original invoice and I was told that it could not be foundI am not happy about this
Final Business Response /* (4000, 16, 2015/08/04) */
RE: *** / Case ***
We appreciate Mr*** taking the time to confirm the service locationThe information provided by the Revdex.com did not afford us the location and with a common last name as ***, I am sure he would want us accurately identify his customer file
CWRV Sales denies Mr***' request for store credit or reimbursement of fees in connection with his service billWe have conducted an investigation into the issues raised with the assistance of CWRV Sales' General Manager and understand that all services performed on the RV were authorized by Mr***Mr*** was aware of the charges and advised he would pick up the RVLater Mrs*** called the dealership to convey her dissatisfaction with the amount of the bill and as a gesture of good will CWRV Sales reduced the bill by $
The consumer's contention that they were overcharged by $additional dollars is unwarrantedAgain, Mr*** approved the work and the work was completedCWRV Sales worked with Mrs*** reduced the bill to just cover diagnostic time and parts for his concerns and the roof reseal
We believe the consumer has been treated more than fairly and request the Revdex.com acknowledge same
Nothing in this communication shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with regard to any issues raised in the Complaint filed by Mrand Mrs***
Regards,
CWRV Sales

*** *** / Complaint ID # *** Meyer’s RV Centers, LLC d/b/a Camping World RV Sales (“CWRV Sales”) is in receipt of the consumer complaint filed by *** ***. We take all consumer issues very seriously and appreciate your office bringing this matter to our attention
CWRV Sales’ denies Mr***’s request for a refund and we regret Mr***’s dissatisfaction with his purchase. The location confirmed that the unit was purchased with no warranty In an effort to provide customer service, CWRV Sales’ management would be happy to inspect the unit at no charge to Mr***s and will provide an estimate for repairs once the inspection is finished If this is acceptable to him we request that he contact the general manager or service manager as soon as possible to schedule an inspection. Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with regard to the issues raised in the complaint. Regards, CWRV Sales
