attention.We contacted CWRV Sales for assistance with this complaint and have been advised of the following:The ***’s picked up their unit on April 15, and all repairs and warranty items that have been completed CWRV Sales' Service Manger just spoke to Mrs*** last week about a compartment door issue she was having while out of townChris told her to stop by when she got back to Charleston and he would replace the entry lock to the compartment doorMrs*** said that sounded great and she would call when she got back in town CWRV Sales will address her additional concerns upon her return.Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with respect to the issues raised in the complaint. Camping Time RV Centers, LLC d/b/a Camping World RV Sales (“CWRV Sales”) is in receipt of the consumer complaint filed by MrJohn ***. We take all consumer issues very seriously and appreciate your office bringing this matter to our attention. CWRV Sales’ management conducted
an investigation into the issues raised and we understand the location is actively working to resolve the issues of concern. It has been confirmed that Mr*** has received updates from his service writer on the status of his unit. We further understand CWRV Sales is awaiting parts on order from the RV manufacturer and anticipates receipt next week CWRV Sales is hopeful to have the repairs completed as soon as possible. Please note, the service department has no control over the timely receipt of parts on order with the RV manufacturer or any other third parties. We appreciate Mr***’s patience while we work through the repair process. appreciate your office bringing this matter to our attention We have forwarded the issues raised in the complaint to the management team in Chattanooga, TN and have been advised the parties have been in direct communication to address the issues We understand an associate has contacted Ms*** to assist with the ordering of part(s) and delivery to her home We further understand the anticipated delivery date is early May It is important to understand, CWRV Sales has no control over the timely receipt of any parts order through the manufacturer or third parties To that end, Ms*** is aware of this information and has conveyed her satisfaction with CWRV Sales' handling of issues To that end, we consider this matter resolved and would appreciate your office acknowledging same. It's obviously easy to say that one's company followed procedures because no company wants to admit that they did anything wrong However, for this company to stand by so many missteps is appallingWe stated before any work was done that our dealer told us that the fridge needed to be reset if there were five flashing lights It was then written down and handed off to the tech to resolve The tech didn't resolve the problem at all and it cost us about $ So first misstep was that the tech didn't try to reset the fridge or didn't do it properly The next misstep was to charge us $for unnecessary work by lying to us that our board was bad Our board had five flashing lights and after spending $and three hours so did the new board Then we were told that the other board was also bad after being told that the main board was the problem This was misstep number three Our other board was fine This would have been another $and would not have resolved the problem either Our dealer recently mentioned to us ** to ground was all that had to be done If any company seems to be at a loss for a proper solution they shouldn't be guessing with the consumer's time and money as they did with our's I've tried to be decent about this but am just getting more bitter by each ridiculous reply back from this company If the shoe were on the other foot they wouldn't put up with such nonsense and neither will I This company needs to own up to its mistakes! Our dealer told us they would have taken the main board back out if it didn't work and not charged us Hey, now there's a concept you might want to try with your other future customers He also has a policy that he gives the customer back any parts he replaces so they can see that he is being honest I didn't get back my main good working board either I know why now! My feeling is that this service is more by design to charge the customer the most money possible rather than to do the job correctly and inexpensively as possible The least you could have done was to actually solve the problem! That is what service is all about!

Complaint ID 11588104 The corporate office is in receipt of Mr***' rebuttal responseWhile we do understand he will not convey his satisfaction until the issue is addressed. It is our understanding he was to contact the service department upon his return from vacation and schedule an appointment to complete the outstanding repair. We'd appreciate Mr*** filing a response confirming he has returned to the service facility as he previously agreed. Until such time we will have no further comment on this matter. I am rejecting this response because I do not accept having to take my travel trailer to a service center to get repairs for something Camping World did incorrectly in the first placeThe guy I use is a mobile RV repair personInstead of Camping World agreeing to assist me with repairs, you want me to take it somewhereI find your responses completely unhelpfulI just want a correction of mistakes made by Camping WorldI've spent too much time trying to correct the mistakesI will take my business elsewhere due to the lack of effort from Camping Worlds customer service. As as far as the registration goes, your company forgot about my issue for monthsI had to call multiple times just to get someone to work on something that was supposedly already being worked onIt disheartening to see a company care so little about their customer service, workmanship, etc

CWRV Sales is in receipt of Mrs*** rebuttal statement We understand Mr*** dropped off the unit on Wednesday, March 9, and the unit is at the location CWRV Sales is actively working to address the issues and the service department is awaiting approval to perform the necessary repairs We further understand the service manager has been in direct communication with Mr*** and keeping him informed of the status CWRV Sales

We understand a copy of the bill was presented at the time the bill was paid We further understand an additional copy of the work invoice has been forwarded to Ms***, including one sent out today. Regards, CWRV Sales

We have followed up with the Longmont, CO location regarding this complaint and hereby submit this response: CWRV Sales' service manager advised he met with Mr*** and Ms*** several times and informed them that their warranty is expired and their extended service contract will not cover the repairs they are requesting They continue to be persistent even though it was their decision to pick up their unit in late and interrupt the repair process They did not return the unit until March of this year After the manufacturer's warranty expired and now believe CWRV Sales should be responsible to fix all of the items of repair. Again, they were advised on numerous occasions about the lack of coverage for the repairs and that CWRV Sales is not responsible to cover the cost of repairs Since there are no repairs being performed we request the customers retrieve their RV as soon as possible To that end, we request this matter be closed with a favorable or neutral evaluation. Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the Complaint or statements made by Mr*** or Ms***.Regards, CWRV Sales

CWRV Sales declines Mr***’ request for a refund and denies the allegations raised in the complaintUpon receipt of the complaint, CWRV Sales’ General Manager, Kevin O’neil attempted to speak with Mr*** directly and when he did not respond, forwarded the company’s response via email. Mr*** replied to advise the statement was not satisfactory. In response, CWRV Sales offered to reimburse Mr*** for the DEF fluid and the battery as a good will gesture and is waiting to hear back from him. To that end, we consider this matter closed and request your office acknowledge same.
