RE: *** / 11567837The corporate office is in receipt of the consumer complaint filed by Edward *** We take all consumer issues very seriously and appreciate your office bringing this matter to our attention Mr*** has identified the Longmont, CO location in his complaint
However, when we forwarded the complaint with his information they were unable to find any records (purchase or service) pertaining to him With that in mind, an associate tried to reach him via the telephone number provided and left a message requesting he call back to address his concerns It is important to understand, if Mr*** is calling on behalf of another individual who is the actual owner of the RV we'd need to have the owner contact the location directly If Mr*** finds this statement in error we would appreciate him providing additional information as noted below:We request that the consumer provide the following information to assist with any proposed investigation: City, State of DealershipStock Number Upon receipt of the requested information we will gladly conduct an investigation into the consumer's claims. RE: *** *** / Complaint ID *** *** RV Centers, LLC dba Camping World RV Sales (“CWRV Sales”) is in receipt of the above-consumer complaint filed by *** ***. We take all consumer concerns very seriously and appreciate
your office bringing this matter to our attention. We forwarded the issues raised in the complaint to CWRV Sales’ management team for review and response and understand Mr*** purchased his RV and the *** Shield warranty from a third party dealer CWRV Sales is an authorized repair facility and assisted Mr*** in addressing the issues including the microwave. CWRV Sales has no control over the warranty process and is not responsible for the products and or policies of the manufacturer. According to the service records, CWRV Sales had a difficult time finding a replacement microwave and learned the original model was discontinued. *** RV, the unit’s manufacturer advised it had a replacement and CWRV Sales ordered it at the manufacturer’s discretion. Mr*** took possession of his RV before the replacement was received and once received the service department contacted him to schedule an appointment. It is important to note, Mr*** was aware CWRV Sales did not offer mobile service and advised he would return to pick up the microwave and install it himself. After he installed the microwave he called to advise it did not fit. CWRV Sales explained that the microwave was a direct replacement from the manufacturer and how no microwave would fit in the space of the galley overhead To address his concerns, CWRV Sales offered Mr*** the option to modify the cabinetry at an additional cost to him, as modifications not covered under the warranty. He declined this option suggested CWRV Sales absorb the costsUpon receipt of this complaint, CWRV Sales’ service manager arranged to meet Mr*** on Monday, October 17th to assess the microwave issue and to discuss any other possible options. Management has confirmed that there is no other resolution other than what was originally recommended. Again, this is a manufacturer issue and if Mr*** is remains dissatisfied we recommend he raise his concerns with *** Customer Care at *** or contact the dealership he purchased the RV and warranty from for further assistanceAs to the charges for shipping and labor, all costs were explained and approved by the customer before the work was doneWhen the charges for the freight and labor came back higher than expected, CWRV Sales covered the charges above the original estimate as a gesture of good Mr*** was not charged any more than he was aware To that end, we believe CWRV Sales has handled this matter appropriately and cannot provide any additional assistance to Mr***. We request your office acknowledge same and close the complaint with a favorable or neutral evaluation Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the complaint or statements filed by *** *** Regards, CWRV Sales

I am rejecting this response because: Camping World failed to let me know about issues with the first camper I purchased therefore delaying the process for me getting tags for the second camper I purchased. They continued to lie to me about when I would get the tags and even after I went to VA to sign papers and give them a check to speed up the process so I could get my tags they lied about sending me the tags. They still sent more papers on the first camper for me to sign after I went up there to sign all the required paper work on the first camper and I had gotten everything I need for the new camper. If they are not qualified or don't know how to handle paper work for NC customers the customer should be told up front so they do not have the type of experience I had. Camping World has a bad name in the Raleigh area because of its customer service, they are very good at selling you a camper but service is a jokeMost of the time you can't get an appointment for service because they are booked solid. You can't wait months to have a water leak fixed especially during camping season when you generally use this toy. You should consider yourself lucky if someone in the service department answers the phone when you call and don't expect to get a call back if you leave a message. I purchased the extended warranty on my camper and when I had a problem I couldn't even get any one on the phone to ask a question and had to take it to someone else. I haven't even address getting my money back from the warranty yet.As long as this country allows a large company like Camping World to treat people the was I was treated the Revdex.com will never have to worry about losing their jobs. I am not going to roll over and play dead with this issue.
Sincerely,
Louise Williams Kelly

RE: Cassandra *** / Complaint ID 11500813 Meyer's RV Centers, LLC dba Camping World RV Sales ("CWRV Sales") is in receipt of the above-referenced consumer complaint filed by Cassandra *** We take all consumer issues very seriously and appreciate your office bringing this matter to our attention We conducted a review of the issues raised with the assistance of CWRV Sales' General Manager Steve *** and understand he first spoke with Keith *** on June 13th after receipt of their complaint, filed on June 11th In an effort to resolve the matter, Mr*** requested the ***s take pictures of the fire damage to forward to the CWRV Sales' service team At which point Mr*** admitted there was no actual fire, rather the pilot light was advised he contacted Mr*** to resolve the matter Wherein he requested pictures of the damage to forward to the service team Mr*** advised that there was no actual fire, but the color of the pilot light was orange instead of the blue color He then stated he corrected the issue by tightening up the valve and that the purpose of the complaint was to make CWRV Sales aware of the issue to pass along to the technician that worked on it As a good will gesture, Mr*** offered a gift card for any inconvenience and Mr*** was receptive to this offer No other issue was raised at this time With regards to the tires The tires passed state inspection in October, but were showing signs of dry rot As another gesture of good will and effort to obtain customer satisfaction, CWRV Sales agreed to pay for one tire Mr*** agreed to pay for the other three when he returned in June CWRV Sales declines compensation for the three tires as per the conversation Mr*** had with the General Manager To that end, we believe this matter has been addressed and request your office acknowledge same.Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the complaint or statements made by Keith or Cassandra ***.
