This year I decided to send Mothers Day Flowers to my Mom and placed an order at FTD.COM to be delivered on Mothers Day Sunday May 8th. On May 9th - I get an EMAIL - no phone call - saying the order was going to be delayed and first they needed my ok to deliver on the 10th or 11th and that they would give me a 10$ upgrade and a 10$ discount on my order. - Unfortunately SINCE I DIDNT GET A CALL - I didnt check email until I was able to contact my Mom- who works over 50 hours a week in HER RETIREMENT AGE until the 10th - when I responded "please send asap! ty for the refund and upgrade" and thought- well .. she'll get them soon at least and better... NOW ITS THE 14th and still no flowers so I check my email and TODAY another email - saying "We regret to inform you that the item you ordered was unavailable at this time in your recipient's delivery area. We would like to arrange delivery of a different item as soon as possible. Please contact us" So I call them and Im like - I just want my Mom to get her flowers and the personal note I wrote with them ... they tell me - well, we have to re charge your card and then you'll get a refund .. I let them know I had a deal thru [redacted] and this was complicating things especially since I didnt have the money that would have come out of my account again until they could refund (5 days) - SO needless to say No flowers for Mom ... What a Terrible experience.

We have resolved this issue with our customer.

I placed an order through FTD Florists online to send to my great nephews viewing and funeral. When I got to the veiwing and funeral we couldn't find the arrangement. Finally a couple of days my Nephew and his wife (his parents) found the arrangement it was not like anything I wanted. He was in the Marines and I wanted something that was looking military . He had a full military funeral. They sent a basket with green plant and no flowers. I have contacted FTD and they act like they could care less. I am totally disappointed with the customer service and the arrangement that they sent.

I am rejecting this response because: the company still has not addressed the subject of the complaint nor have they discussed the complaint with me. When the offered they arrangement to me they didn't even mention that it had anything to do with the complaint. The complaint was mainly due to the deceptive bait and switch practices in which they are engaging. You also cannot lawfully offer service in an area where you can't provide service. None of this has been addressed. The Revdex.com needs to investigate this.

I placed an order late last night for a delivery today. The flowers were to be delivered to a business. As of 4:15pm, the flowers were not delivered yet and I hadn't heard anything from FTD.com regarding any problems so I contacted them. They told me that the florist was too far from the delivery address. Isn't that what their computers are supposed to sort out?? It's not as if this was a big town, but it's not a small town either. There are several florists in town I could have contacted for delivery. Instead, I had to call FTD to find out that they would not deliver today. Why wasn't I notified early in the day? They have also missed a delivery for a funeral in the past. As most people know, timing of delivery is important. They did refund my money but I could have cancelled the charge myself. I'm disappointed they don't have a better method for handling their mistakes. Based on my experience, I would stay away from this company if the delivery is important.
