This company is deceptive to the consumer and it's member florists. It was a much better company when it was member owned, nothing but corperate greed these days.

I ordered "The Sweet Surprise" bouquet for my friends birthday through FTD for delivery to her workplace. FTD's website shows four sizes from "good" for $39.99 to "exquisite" for $74.99. I chose "good". The pictures show only slight variation between the different sizes. The description included the variety and types of flowers but does NOT provide quantity of each. What was delivered was not close to what we expected. I was very unhappy. The representative we called provided us with the specific number of each type of flower in the arrangement AND told us the local florist could CHANGE the arrangement to meet delivery!! It would have been helpful to have known that up front at the time I placed the order! The rep had the nerve to offer to have the arrangement picked up from my friend! Otherwise, we received a 20% discount off the bill. She also offered a 15% discount coupon, which I declined I will NEVER use FTD again.

I wish I would have read all these reviews before placing my order. Would have saved me alot of time and my mom would have probably got her flowers. I received an email at 11am on Sat 05/09 saying that there was still time to get Mother flowers for Mother's Day. I took them up on their offer and placed an online order at 11:30 on Saturday May 9th. I entered all the information about the recipient and was told by the website delivery was available. However there was a $24.99 extra charge, which I paid. You can guess what happened? NO FLOWERS WERE DELIVERED and I was never called or contacted. So I called this morning and was told no florist was available and that is why the flowers were never delivered and that they were "very sorry for the inconvenience" and they offered me a $10 coupon for my next order. Yeah, like I am going to order from these is again. They don't care at all about customer service or making things right, as long as they get your money. GO ELSEWHERE!!!

I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR OVER TWO YEARS TO GET MY NAME AND ADDRESS REMOVED FROM THE FTD MAILING LIST AND THE JUNK MAIL NEVER STOPS!! I HAVE SENT COUNTLESS E-MAILS AND MADE SO MANY PHONE CALLS I HAVE LOST TRACK, ALL TO NO AVAIL. THEY CONTINUE TO HOUND ME WITH JUNK MAIL AND I AM FED UP WITH THEM. WHY ONE REQUEST WASN'T ENOUGH FOR THEM TO SIMPLY REMOVE MY NAME AND ADDRESS FROM THEIR MAILING LIST IS BEYOND ME. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN AS THE HARASSMENT OF JUNK MAIL IS ENDLESS AND OBVIOUSLY THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS CANNOT EVEN ACCOMPLISH A SIMPLE TASK. I WAS EVEN TOLD BY ONE REPRESENTATIVE THAT THEY WERE NOT SENDING ME THE JUNK MAIL EVEN THOUGH I EXPLAINED THAT IT CLEARLY SAYS FTD FROM DOWNERS GROVE, IL. A CONSUMER SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS ALL BECAUSE THEY PLACED AN ORDER WITH A COMPANY. I AM DONE WITH THESE PEOPLE!

We sincerely apologize for our customer's recent experience. We have posted a full refund to the account and are arranging a complimentary gift to be delivered to the recipient.

Terrible service. Flowers never delivered. Paid $89.00 for the flowers and same day deliver.
I ordered flowers with same deliver option on Wednesday, called twice that day to check the status and was told that FTD couldn't reach the florist and had to leave a message, but would call me when any information comes up. The next day, still no news and no flowers, even though I paid for same day delivery. Now, 24 hours late and still no news. I called again and spoke to a supervisor who gave me the same story, that she could not reach the florist and had to leave a message. Obviously, I am frustrated because the flowers are now 24 hours late. The supervisor is telling me that she can't do anything for 24 hours after the order is place. I explained several times that 24 hours has passed and FTD should use a different florist to resolve the issue prior to missing the paid for same day delivery order, but the rep continued to say the policy is to wait 24 hours as if a complete zombie. So at this point the flowers are not delivered, FTD has no clue where they are and when or if they will be delivered and my order is pointless in their minds. Thank you FTD for ruining my celebration with your terrible business practice and making me waste my time and energy calling your terrible customer service number.

I placed an order on Thursday for Saturday or Sunday (Mother's Day) delivery. These flowers were to be delivered to my mother-in-law who lives over 1,500 miles away. She is very ill and has been placed on hospice care and this will likely be her last Mother's Day.

I just received a phone call at 5 pm on Mother's Day to tell me they could not locate a florist in her area to provide for delivery. I'm not sure what kind of business they are operating, but to wait until the weekend is almost finished to tell us is unacceptable.

This is just a warning to everyone to find a local florist to deliver your flowers and not put your trust in FTD to get the job done.
