I have enclosed a response letter to them. [redacted] Thank you for responding quickly. I wish you had review the case more thoroughly before responding though. You invited me to place a new order, however the item is sold out and has been sold out for almost a year (it sold out shortly after I ordered it back in July of last year). My orders were cancelled by Gamestop. I did not initiate the cancellation. There is no legitimate reason provided by Gamesotp for canceling my order. The limit was placed 10 months AFTER I placed my orders. At the extreme least, Gamestop should have only cancelled 2/3 of my orders to uphold the 1 order per game limit. Despite the issue being entirely created on Gamestop's behalf, your reply offered no compensation such as reinstating one of the orders. If Gamestop is unwilling to fix the issue THEY created, I will continue with my protest.Sincerely,[redacted]

reason that it had been on hold and eventually cancelled was due to insufficient funds on the gift card. It looks like there were 2 [redacted] orders for $20 PlayStation Network currency, both with the same exact gift card attached to them. The one that was successfully placed and shipped can be referenced under order #8171226171901021. This code was sent to your Gmail. The gift card balance initially had $25 available for use. $20 of it was used to fund order [redacted], and the remaining $5.00 was used to fund a $10 Nintendo eShop code, along with a VISA. I do find a couple of the statements made to be questionable, as they seem to throw the issue back at me.  I have yet to find on the GameStop site where it is stated the downloaded games will be retrieved via a third-party game portal [redacted].  This lacks transparency to the customer as I believed I would be receiving a license key and the game installer directly from GameStop.  The email I received after purchased directed me to Steam where I attempted to use the key supplied me by GameStop, and it didn't work.  I contacted Steam who stated it was an invalid key and directed me back to GameStop.  Yet, the response I just now received says "the key should have worked".  It did not.The statement at the end of GameStop's response is nothing short of insulting and illustrates that they have not fully read my correspondence.  I was *very* sure of the game I was purchasing - I have the same game for the Wii-U - this is the PC version my son wanted.  The game selection was *not* the issue here - it was GameStop's selling of an invalid license key that is.While I will accept the refund, and thank whomever was able to make it happen, I will no longer look to GameStop for downloadable content; I will purchase directly from Steam or uPlay.  I will warn others of this situation.  This is no different than selling an unusable product and giving the customer a run-around when asking for a refund.

The coupon did not work for the item I tried to use it on and every subsequent attempt at purchasing it failed.  Since then the exclusive item is no longer for sale meaning not only did I deal with several issues and could not even purchase the item I wanted but I wasted large amounts of both your and my time in the process.  While this is not your fault I find the outcome unacceptable and will likely never shop with gamestop again and warn others I know against shopping with your company as well as Best Buy has lower rates (guaranteed 20% less on any new title), better customer service response time, and FREE two day shipping on anything I purchase from them.Thank you for your time and trying to help resolve this issue.
