I am rejecting this response because: GM Financial just admitted above that I never game them that address that they sent correspondence to me toAlso, it is my understanding after speaking with the USPS that certified mail cannot be sent to a P.O box addressTherefore, GM Financial has knowingly sent legal notices that they are supposed to have confirmed I received and failed to do so? They have not acted in good faith by purposely sending a letter to an address I am not associated with and to an address where it is impossible to confirm that I got itThey never sent any communication to any of the two addresses I gave themBecause of this oversight I am asking that GM FINANCIAL stop all collection activity and write off the remaining balance they claim I owe off the booksGM Financial is in clear violation of the law and knowingly contininugly violating the law by refusing to obey my requestAll I am asking for is for them to stop collection activity and waive the remaining balanceThey have already collected prior payments from me, a larger down payment,and have sold the car at auctionThey have not technically lost any money from dealJust take your profits and leave me alone! Why try to take more money from me illegally!?

On Dec 14, GM Financial chose to do a repossession of my car on the actual due date of the car noteAfter speaking with GM Financial and it many rude and unprofessional customer service agents nd filing a previous Revdex.com complaint which was never resolved about that issueI was told via the reply for Complaint *** 12/22/from GM Financial that a "notice of our plan to sell property and notice of right to redeem or reinstate" was mailed out to my address Justice, Il Dec18, So I called in on 12/spoke with *** *** @ 11:11am when he called me and advised I had not yet received the notice and was requesting that GM Financial resend me a new one because it should not have taken that long to receive it in the first place so that I can get the information of where to get my belongings that were in the car when it was taken and how to get the car backIt was at that point *** stated he GM Financial could not send me out at new notice and that I had to either check with the usps delivery guy or wait until it comesI advised him by law that notice had to be received by me from GM Financial within days after the repossession and we were already at days and that the company was going offline and unreachable from 12/through 1/so that notice needed to be resent BEFORE thatAnd as of 1/8/the company is NOT back online via online or customer service phone line ***It is days pass their supposed upgrade relaunch date and I have NOT received any "notice of our plan to sell property and notice of right to redeem or reinstate" was mailed out to my address Justice, Il Dec18, nor the second requested one I asked for on 12/and it is now days past what the law in Illinois allows making this a Insufficient notice of redemptionCar repossession laws in Illinois require your lender to provide you with a redemption notice within days after your car is repossessed and GM Financial the lender failed to provide the notices and provided legally insufficient notice making repossession invalidIf they KNEW that the WHOLE COMPANY was going to be offline AFTER 1/5/they should have made sufficient arrangements to have someone available to address this issueI could careless about their system upgrades when they poorly managed, equipped and inadequately trained to handle their customersThey were suppose to be back up and running today 1/8/and I still can not get through any of the phone systems and they have completely shut down any online access to my account and now I am pass the legal notification dates that my state of Illinois allows for this company to contact me via a redemption notice and even though they were made fully aware of the fact that I had not received the notice and that they would not even have anyone capable of helping me resolved the reinstatement of my vehicle between the dates of 12/27/and 1/8/they made absolutely no attempts to assist meAnd GM Financial provided an Insufficient notice of redemption.This is an Insufficient notice of redemption ??" Car repossession laws in Illinois require your lender to provide you with a redemption notice within days after your car is repossessedGM Financial failed to provide the notices or provide legally insufficient notice, the repossession is invalid and someone needs to call me asap

February 8, 2018, a release of lien and motor vehicle title were mailed to your address on file Please be advised, an additional notarized release of lien was sent to your address on file via FedEx tracking number *** and was delivered on May 7, at 11:am, left at front door
Unfortunately, GM Financial is unable to provide an additional title as the original title was mailed to you on February 8, Please contact the New Jersey Department of Motor vehicles and provide the required documentation in order to request a duplicate title

I am rejecting this response because: GM Financial received funds from me which were lost for weeksI have yet to receive an explanation for how this happenedPersonally, I feel that the credit should remain on my account and the money should be refunded to meMore importantly, I hope this response serves as a warning to other consumersThis situation cost me time, interrupted multiple work weeks, and elevated my anxiety to a terrifying degreeI felt helpless throughout the entire experienceUltimately, a corporation took money from me and failed to provide the purchased service (lease account credit) for weeksThere was nothing I could do and no way to hold them accountableI did not feel like resolving the issue was a priority for GM Financial
