Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:? Info you requested, ref number connected is *** *** ***,and as I stated my father the above SS# belonging too, leased the car jan.2016& became ill& passed away April 9,2016,@ that point I should have instructed my mother to terminate lease(accepted? lease termination;death) however for sentimental reasons & other reasons she felt that she should hold on to it,in respect to my father & her husband of yrs.& for the thought that, MAYBE she would start driving, but she did not & does not drive & will not drive in the future? due to health reasons, however she made every payment & the Cruze was 20,000+ miles BELOW lease terms and was under 4,miles on odometerI hope this resolves this unjust matter & is cleared & this unjust action is cleared from my mothers namePS at Time of lease my father even asked if my mother could be on the lease as a co-leasee! This was at *** *** ** *** ***Regards,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute. Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below. The $should have been quoted to Progressive Insurance, and I believe that it was reflected in the initial payoff quote to them on August 8th? However, it was later updated and a lesser amount was agreed upon by GM to close out the account which apparently was after my pay payment? I will continue to dispute this until the money is refunded? The full payoff amount should have been charged to Progressive after being notified that the car was a total loss? Furthermore, customer service should have explained to me the process of cancelling through the Western Union System, because not only did I request that payment be stopped, but I was under the notion that once the account was paid in full no further payments would need to be made on the account? It is also ridiculous that I now have to dig through records and come up with sufficient proof to show GM Financial of the over payment? The check that was sent to Capital One to pay off the trade prior to the lease was $more than what was owed on that loan? Capital One insists the overpayment would have been sent back to GM Financial? The remaining balance on the car was rolled over into the lease on the new car and subsequently financed and GM Financial told me the overpayment would be applied to my final payment? Now I am being told there is no record of it and to provide proof? ? Imagine that? I am really wishing I didn't just take out a new lease through GM Financial? I will contact Capital One and obtain documentation showing what they received from GM Financial and what I sent them for final payment.? Regards,

Thank you for forwarding the additional correspondence sent to the Revdex.comI have reviewed your concerns and would like to provide the following information. On June 10, 2009, you entered into a Simple Interest Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Installment Sale Contract (“Contract”) for the
purchase of a Chevrolet Impala in the amount of $25,at an interest rate of 15.95%Within the agreement, you agreed to repay the loan in monthly installments in the amount of $per month, beginning on July 25, 2009.We empathize with the problems you experienced; however, the responsibility for this contractual obligation remainsAll mechanical issues would have needed to be resolved between yourself, *** ***, and/or the manufacturer of the vehicle, if necessaryThe vehicle was voluntarily repossessed from *** ***’s lot on July 6, Our records reflect that you opted not to redeem the vehicle, and that the vehicle was sold at a private sale on July 28, Per your Contract, if the money from the sale is not enough to pay the amount you owe, you must pay the remaining amount to GM FinancialAs of March 15, 2016, a deficiency balance still remains.GM Financial is required to report truthful and accurate information to the credit bureau reporting agenciesOur research concludes that the account status and account payment history of your account have been reported to the credit bureau reporting agencies with accuracy; and as a result, we are unable to make any changes or deletions to the credit bureau reporting of your account.Included for your review is a copy of your Contract and Account Payment History.Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please contact GM Financial at ###-###-####.Sincerely,GM Financial

? Thank you for the correspondence sent to the Revdex.comI have reviewed your concerns and would like to provide the following information. On December 28, 2011, you and *** M*** entered into a Retail Lease Agreement (“Contract”) for a Chevrolet CruzeWithin the
agreement, you agreed to a month lease term with a monthly payment in the amount of $per month, due on the 28th day of each month.Although you have advised GM Financial that through divorce proceedings Mr*** was awarded the responsibility for this lease, the contractual obligation still remains for all parties who entered into the contractIn order to have removed your liability, prior to the maturity of the lease, the party intending to assume sole responsibility would have needed to contact the dealership who originated the lease and have had to apply for the lease in their name onlyPlease understand that this would be the same process as when the lease was initiated in 2011, including credit approvalAs your lease matured March 28, 2015, this would no longer be an option and all parties who entered into the contract are still liable for the remaining deficiency balance owed to GM Financial.Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please feel free to contact GM Financial at ###-###-####.Sincerely,GM Financial

The reasons I was paying after due due date was because my payday was after the due date and because every time I called or answered your courtesy calls about my payment before I was told "well, its not actually late until so in so date" And as long as you promise to pay before this date we wont charge a late fee and we wont ding your credit? Not one time before was I ever advised or notified that this interest was being added every day I payed after the due date? You deceived me by telling me its fine as long as I got that payment in before the grace periodAnd of course you tell people that, you want them to make arrangements to pay after the due dateYOU MAKE MORE MONEY THAT WAY!! I believe you withheld that information on purpose, you know most average customers like myself don't know about these daily interest charges, most are concerned with keeping their credit in good standings and having no late charges like myselfTo me being told " Its really not late till this date means its really not lateAnd the reason I had to defer payments and have my due date changed was due to changing jobs and I did everything in my power to work with GM Financial to make sure my loan got payed during my transition? Finally in early one of your officers with a heart contacted me and asked if I was aware that I had interest charges accruing and worked out a payment plan where I made several increased amount payments until I was ahead to the point of paying before my due dateFrom that point forward EVERY payment was made approx weeks earlyThe whole second half of the loanHad I known about your daily interest accrual prior to this I would have done the same from the beginningBut I believe you withheld that information intentionally and have probably done that with many other customersWhy else would you have a department created and devoted to working with customers to make arrangements to pay off these unknown interest charges that were screwed out of them the same way? I think they call this deceitful practice Loan SharkingI believe a judge would see it the same way? ? ? ? ?

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The information provided by GM in response to my claim is not accurateI enrolled in automatic payments as soon as I purchased my vehicle and for some unknown reason GM altered my payment planGM claims that I was contacted "several times" about the delinquent payments, but I never once received a phone call, an e-mail, or a physical letter in the mailSimply looking at the phone records of my mobile phone (the only phone I have) would clearly demonstrate that GM did not follow protocol in reaching out to me as a customerThe missed payments never even appeared on my credit report until AFTER the car was actually repossessed which only adds to the dubiousness of this circumstanceOther than in this case, I have never missed a payment on anything in my life and my car payment is by far the lowest one that I haveIf I was contacted even one time, I would have instantly called GM and fixed the problem. The first time that I received any sort of notification about the repossession was they day AFTER the car was repossessed when I received a physical letter via certified mailI don't know how their records indicate that they contacted me, because they did not. When speaking with a representative from GM, they claimed that they called my mother's cell phone one time the month before the repossession, though I have no idea why, unless they mixed up our accounts when we were purchasing our carsWe purchased our cars at the same time, but they are be two totally different accountsWhen I signed up for my lease, I included both my phone number and e-mail addressed as means of contacting me; yet, I never received any kind of notice.I just don't understand how several employees from both *** *** (where I purchased my vehicle) and GM Financial (the company responsible for this issue) could be stating again and again how this issue impacted several people who purchased vehicles during the month of January and the company can't just help me remedy this problem by reporting on the potential errorWhy would a customer simply not make any payments after purchasing a car only to pay ALL of the delinquent payments off (plus the ludicrous towing and holding fees) the next day after their car was repossessed unless they were an innocent?Online websites dedicated to business reviews are littered with complaints from customers who experienced problems with their payments being unexpectedly cancelled (their automatic payments being depopulated) and being charged beyond the end of their lease in January.I am quite frankly shocked that GM would be so callous as to claim that this is they're reporting "fair and accurately" when there seems like an endless amount of evidence verifying my claimsI cannot believe that a business is allowed to operate this way and damage someone's name and reputation based on a "systems error" that several of their own employees have admitted likely caused this issue and yet in this correspondence through the Revdex.com, they have not addressed that issue once.I feel as though I am really not asking very much of GMThey claim that they "reviewed my account" and saw that a phone call was made, but the actual specifics of my complaint (namely the fact that a system reboot wrongfully altered my account without my knowledge and that they seemingly contacted the wrong customer) are really not being addressed here
