I asked that my difference be refundedAs I have said when I spoke to the representative I stated that I did not feel comfortable making the payment due to the car no longer being in my possession and since they were going to be receiving a payoffThe representative told me that I would need to make the payment anyway regardless of them receiving a pay off and I would get the differenceSince it showed my payment and this was something discussed it should have been placed in the notes and the payoff amount that should have been requested should not have included my payment madeHad the representative told me correctly and that this was not necessary I would have not made the payment and let it be handled with my dealershipI had been informed the representative the day that they would be issued the checkAlso before getting any information I had to go back and forth with numerous people on more than one day before I finally got someone to actually try to assist meThis is absolutely ridiculous and I feel like I am being taken advantage ofThis company has even showed a past of payment issues just by looking at all the other complaints you can see that they become negligent when it comes to payments on people's accounts

I am rejecting this response because: I am still accruing interest since the accident and the balance past due reflects that I do not have and the vehicle has been ruled as a total loss? GAP has confirmed receipt of the payment history but I am disputing the past due amountLate Fee, payments being due and interest need to be removedThank you for the assistance with providing the payment history.?

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting the response for needing additional time because I have been patiently waiting and inquiring since October.? This is the same response they have been giving me over the phone and that I should receive something in the mail to business days, nothing comes in the mail from themI already know that the inquiry will not come in the mail as they have stated in numerous phone calls but then they will try and say my account is 30, or over dueIn order for me to accept that they are in fact working on my inquiry, I would like a confirmation numberI need to know in fact they are working on this instead of just saying this so I can't get the answers I'm looking forWith all my inquiries they should by now have an answer for me up until my last recent inquiry
Regards,

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:? Per the Credit Reporting Agencies there is no law that states this claim.? Credit reporting to the agency is completely at the discretion of the agency reporting and their own internal policies.? Thank you for not helping out a customer in good standing with you.? You only show to prove that big business just wants the consumers money and care nothing for the consumer
