Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I have provided the Revdex.com with proof of contact initiated by GM Financial as discussed in my original complaint on 28 NOV 2017 at my work number. And a cease and desist was only for my work number. It does not preclude a standard statement, either electronic or regular mail. Nor does it preclude the late emails that GM has sent in the past such as the one I received for August 2017 when I requested the deferment. I have also provided GM with an email from [redacted] stating a deferment was placed on my account. While GM is required to accurately report, GM is also required to back up the representations made by its representatives. I was led to believe this was a resolved deal prior to the due date. I was not informed it was late or open on the 28th when GM initiat d contact or through the standard means used any other month.
Regards,
[redacted]

Dear Mr. [redacted],
Thank you for the correspondence sent to the Revdex.com. I have reviewed your concerns...

and would like to provide the following information.
Please be advised that a Lease Assumption is not a part of the original contract term. The option of third party is subject to credit approval and additional requirements. A refund has been requested and is being processed for the Lease Assumption fee in the amount of $595.00, and will be sent via regular mail. Please allow 7 to 10 business days from the time the check is issued for it to be received.
GM Financial has requested that the appropriate credit reporting agencies remove the GM Financial inquiries from your credit report dated for May 1, 2017 and June 6, 2017. In the event that the credit bureau reporting agencies are unable to delete the inquiries, we have asked that at a minimum they convert the hard inquiry to a soft inquiry. Please be advised that it can take the credit reporting agencies four to six weeks to update your credit report.
Copies of the Inquiry Removal letters have been included for your review. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please feel free to contact GM Financial at [redacted].
Sincerely,
GM Financial

Complaint: [redacted]
My account number is [redacted]. I was able to put a stop payment on my account through my bank at a cost of $25.  I expect to be reimbursed for since I called your company a week ago to cancel this payment and it was not done. I also spent over an hour and a half on the phone with GM financial last night again trying to cancel this payment. All three times I called it took over 30 minutes to get to a representative. And only one of them was helpful.
Regards,
John [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I no longer owned the car and they knew I had traded it in. So they must remove the incorrect information from our credit reports. It is not my fault the payment was late.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because GM has full authority to change/correct a report made to credit bureaus that has severely impacted my credit standing and has also cost me thousands of dollars in interest, never mind all the interest that GM has made on my account over nearly 6 years. GM, like any good and responsible company, could devise exception / grace policies for longstanding customers. Making 66 payments on time, paying off the note early, and attempting to make a payment online that did not go through should NOT result in this lame excuse for a resolution.
Regards,
[redacted]

Dear Ms. [redacted],
Thank you for the correspondence sent to the Revdex.com. I have reviewed your concerns and would like to provide the following information.
Please note on...

December 11, 2012, you signed a Retail Installment Sale Contract for a 2008 Chevrolet Impala in the amount of $12,585.37 at an interest rate of 19.45%. Within the agreement, you agreed to repay the loan in 72 monthly installments in the amount of $299.87 per month, beginning January 25, 2013.
On August 16, 2016 the decision was made to place the vehicle out for repossession, as allowed by your contract. At this time the account was 82 days past due. The account history was reviewed thoroughly and it has been determined that the handling of the account, including repossession, was in compliance with all state and federal laws. The state of Florida does not require a cure period or notice of repossession be mailed prior to repossession.
Our records reflect that a deferment was processed at your request for the month of May and June of 2016. GM Financial last spoke with you on July 25, 2016; at which time you set up a payment in the amount of $219.82 dated for July 25, 2016 as part of the deferment fee and partial payment for April of 2016 due date. You also set up a future dated payment in the amount of $299.87 for August 3, 2016 for the July 2016 installment payment. These payments were returned to GM Financial due to insufficient funds on August 4, 2016. Please be advised numerous efforts were made to contact you with regard to the status, and no further arrangements were made.
GM Financial is required to report truthful and accurate information to the credit bureau reporting agencies. Our research concludes that the account status and payment history of your account have been reported to the credit bureau reporting agencies with accuracy; and as a result, we are unable to make any changes or deletions to the account and credit agencies.
Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please contact GM Financial’s Customer Service department at [redacted].
Sincerely,
GM Financial

October 6, 2017   RE:  Complaint ID: [redacted]          [redacted]                           Dear Mrs. [redacted], Thank you for forwarding the additional correspondence. Please note that our system of record reflects that prior to the vehicle being deemed a total loss, the last monthly payment was received on December 1, 2016, which posted for the October 2016 due date. The insurance proceeds and warranty refund posted to the account as principal payments and were not applied to your monthly billing amount as per your Contract states. Therefore, the account was reported accurately to the credit bureau agencies. If you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please feel free to contact GM Financial at 1([redacted].   Sincerely, GM Financial

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: That is not acceptable. You need to waive all fees for making any type of payment until you fix the problem. It is YOUR problem, not your customers. This problem has been going on for months. Obviously, the problem is not a high priority for you, as you truly do not care about your customers.
Regards,

Our records reflect the account was reported in December of 2017 for the November payment. Your payment was due on November 14, 2017.
