I have shipped them out my phone. they received my phone and have not sent me a check or my cell phone back that I have asked for.Desired Settlement: I would like my $220.00 or my phone BACK.

They said I would receive funds in three days. Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Guzu, Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

This is the same "auto-reply" email I have received months ago. There is still no direct email from them or a way to contact them on the phone or a personal email for someone who works there. I sincerely doubt I will see a payment with this in the next 10 days but I will keep you posted. Please keep this file open. Can someone go to there address where they pick up the iPhones from people and arrest them? That is a logical upcoming step I think. Especially for this amount of theft.

Review: On Dec. [redacted], 2015 I sent a used phone to Guzu. I received an email stating they received it and would send payment and as of today January [redacted], no payment has been sent. I have contacted them several times and each time I get a response(excuse) that they were backed up over the holiday then it was that they had experienced fraud then the latest was my payment would be sent soon.Desired Settlement: Payment I was guaranteed for the product they received from me.

Review: I recently sent my 32 GB iPhone 5s to Guzu. I was told I would be paid $130 for it. I got a confirmation email that they accepted the iPhone and would be paid in 1-3 business days. This was on January [redacted] and I have sent multiple emails asking what has happened. I have heard nothing from the company. Basically they stole my phone. Here is the order number if that helps in anyway [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like the original $130 check promised to me. If not is not possible I would like the phone sent back to me.

Sincerely,

Review: Sent an iphone 5s 16gb to Guzu in June, received email confirmation that they had received the phone and approved the payment of $200 on June **. Still have not received payment. Emailed them, they said they were having issues with [redacted] and could send a check. I said to send one, waited over a week and no check came, emailed them again & was told a replacement check would go out, waited another 2 weeks and no check. So I started digging and found out that every check that had been received from this company has bounced. So I emailed them again and told them I wanted the payment in some other form. I was informed that they could send via [redacted] or [redacted] and I opted for [redacted]. Lindsey Y[redacted] said I would receive my payment last Monday, I never received it and she refused to answer anymore of my emails. I finally had to resort to posting and reposting on their [redacted] page to which they kept deleting my comments, but I finally got a response out of them on Thursday of this week (8/*/15) that they were looking into it. They sent me a $30 Good Faith payment through [redacted] on Thursday evening, which I have not touched because it was not the full balance, but they said I would receive the balance on Friday, 8/*/15. It is now Saturday, 8/*/15 and I still have not received the balance of $170 that is owed to me. I just want the money that I am owed. I didn't sell my phone to them for it to take this long to get payment, if I even do at all, because their word now means nothing. I sold the phone because I NEEDED the money.Desired Settlement: I want the other $170 that they owe me. I'm insulted that they even sent me $30 with an apology for the delay and the promise to pay the balance the next day, and then to not follow through.

Review: I sold two iphones to Guzu. I received notice that the phones were received and that I would receive payment within 1-3 days. It's been a week since that notice was received. I cannot reach the company by phone. When I send emails, I receive a canned message "Your request ([redacted]) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff." I'm reacting now because of all of the negative information I see on the company [redacted] page.

I'm concerned that this is a scam and this company owes me $420.00Desired Settlement: I would like this company do pay me for the goods that were provided in order #[redacted]. $420.00.

Business

Response:

Payment was sent out on 11/** via [redacted] in the amount of $420. Unique transaction ID number is [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: I went online to see where I could sell my cell phone. I came to this company's website. I put in my information to get a quote and I thought it was a fair amount. $100 for the sale of my old cell phone. I accepted the quote and proceeded with further instructions.

They said once they received my phone they would look over and either accept or decline. Once they determined they would send payment in 1-3 days.

I sent my phone and got the confirmation they received it. A few days later the approved my phone and said payment should arrive in 1-3 days.

It has now been over two weeks. I have sent a couple of emails and they have yet to respond. I believe I just got scammed into giving my product with no monetary exchange.Desired Settlement: I either want the $100 they promised or I want my phone back.

Review: I recycled my iPhone 5 with Guzu with the promise of a $120 payment to my [redacted] account. Phone was received on October [redacted] via the confirmation email they sent me. I followed up about payment on [redacted] and was sent:

I followed up again on 10/20 and was emailed:

I followed up again on [redacted] and received:

Dear customer

We are sorry for the extreme delay you have encountered with your payment. Our accounts experienced a series of fraud attempts on our accounts and had issue with our cash flow due to this unfortunate problem. We are in the process of catching up old payments, and anyone experiencing issues with a bounced check.

Thank you

I then followed up on 10/**, 11/*, and 11/* with no response. I tried phone numbers and all were non-working. At this point I am filing a complaint. The company owes me $120.

Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like the $120 that was promised for my iphone 5.

Review: I sold 2 phones to Guzu. I was informed that one of my phones was locked and I would be receiving less money for it. I sent them an email and told them I do NOT accept the lower amount and if they sent me the instructions on how to lock it, I would take care of it, or they could send it back. The next thing I heard from them was they were issuing a check totaling $85 which was lower than my original quoted amount. Because it took so long to hear anything back from them and they still hadnt sent me the instructions, I just took the lower amount. I deposited the check in my bank account and 2 days later my account was overdrawn with a $12 returned check fee and now 4 overdraft fees because of this bounced check. I am out a total of 34 x 4 + 12 + 85 = $233 now.Desired Settlement: Its bad enough that they didnt follow thru and provide me what was needed to get the larger amount, and just issued the check. I want the money they owe me on top of all the charges caused by them and the lack of funds in their account

Review: I used Guzu a while ago successfully. I had 3 devices, 2 iPhones and a tablet which they offered me $495 for. I returned them, got a verification of their receipt and was to be paid via [redacted] in 1-3 business days. 9 days with out payment I contacted them. After 4 emails and cc'ing the [redacted] advocate they finally replied. They gave me a new case number which I could not access. They told me I would be paid in one business day. That was last Monday and now have sent 14 emails, 2 voice mails (they have blocked my numbers though I was very polite and did not use pejorative language). They at this point have not paid me, emailed me back, or called me back.

I am firmly of the option that they are stealing my equipment and have no intention of paying me.

The original "return" number was[redacted] then they changed it to #[redacted] This is the email where I was promised payment in one day.

Review: I had been quoted by Guzu that my used iPhone would be good for $315 so I sent my phone to their company by their shopping label and they emailed to say they had recieved it but it has still be over a week when they said it would be 1-3 days and no transfer of funds to my pay pal account has happened. I have tried to contact them multiple times with no responses.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my money transferred sooner than later.

Sincerely,

Review: Guzu is supposed to be an electronic trade in company. You can send in old devices, such as iPhones and laptops, they evaluate and then promise you a check. I was promised 130$ before sending in my old iPhone. I have not received a check and every time I contact customer service through email (there is no connected phone number) I received the exact same email from the exact same person "Amanda" I have wrote over 20 different emails and each response is the same "sorry for the delay, payment will be sent shortly" however I was guaranteed a payment within THREE DAYS OF them approving my device. It's been months.Desired Settlement: I want my money from this business, if that's not possible I want to file a federal class action lawsuit with the other 2 million people who have had this happen to them. What a scam. How can they legally get away with this? And who is willing to help?

Review: I sent my phone in and it was received by Guzu in November, 2015. I had to request a check after numerous contacts via email and their contact form with them. Finally received a check in late December 2015. The check bounced and I requested that they correct this and pay my bank fees. They replied they would and to date, after numerous emails I have not received a check nor a reply to any of my requests for update.

No this is not resolved I received a check from them and it bounced there were no funds to take it from I've also read that this isn't the first time they've done this they keep doing it clearly so I'm out over 140 now I have to pay a fee for the check bouncing I'm very upset by the whole situation never have I been ripped off like this

Sincerely,

Review: Company is a scam to get people to send in their iPhones for payment. iPhones are received by company and then customer is told the payment will be made in 2 days. My payment as well as dozens of other people who have complaints posted online hasn't been made 45 days later.

I have more than 20 emails to the company. They respond to every few emails with various stalling tactics. They refuse to send payment or return phone and keep saying its a delay.
