Review: I was quoted $130 for my iPhone 5s and sent it in to Guzu. I received an email from them on January *,2016 that my phone had been received and accepted and payment should be mailed in 1-3 business days. It's is now January **, 2016 and I haven't received payment. I have tried to contact them several times via email and haven't received a response. I tried calling their number and it's always busy. This is a total scam and I am out my phone, $, and time. Not happy.Desired Settlement: To get my payment.

Review: I "sold" two Apple iPhones to this company for a total of $405.00. I received notice that units were received and as of this date they have ignored my status update requests and have failed to issue payment.Desired Settlement: Either pay or return in the exact perfect working conditions of both iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 plus gold. I have the serial numbers of both units so they are to match.

Review: I sent in 5 iPhones to sell. On July [redacted] I received notification that the devices were approved for payment. To date I have not gotten the payment, even though their site says 7 day turn around. I was told the check was mailed on the [redacted]. I still have not received 9 days later. I really don't think the check is in the mail.

I did try them once before and the check bounced. They did put the money in my [redacted] account - so thought I would give them a try again. Asked to have the money deposited in my [redacted] account, but said their system is having issues - would I accept a check.Desired Settlement: Refund of $550.00

The approval email stated I would receive payment in 1-3 business days to my [redacted]l account. On 7/** I contacted Guzu and told them I had still not received payment from them. On 7/** I finally received an email back stating that they were "experiencing problems" with their [redacted] account and that they would send me a check. On 7/** I received an email stating the check had been sent. When I received the check 8/* I took it immediately to the bank. Then On 8/* I received information from my bank stating the Guzu check had been returned and that I had been charged a 10$ fee for the returned check. I have been emailing and calling Guzu since 8/* with no reply from the business.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $340 and the $10 I was charged for the returned check fee.

Review: I sold Guzu my iPhone 4s 16g through USell on ** August 2014. They offered me $70.70. They received my phone on ** August 2014 and once it was checked out, changed the status of my account to "will be pain in 3-5 business days." I emailed customer service on ** August and asked for a better idea as to when I would receive my payment. [redacted] replied 4 minutes later that my payment would be deposited to my [redacted] account that day, ** August 2014. I did not receive payment. I contacted her several times on ** August 2014 with no response. Review: Was quoted in writing from them that I would get $90 for mailing them my iPhone. Got confirmation in writing that they received the phone in good condition and that they would send me payment in 1-3 days. Over a month passed with no payment made. My numerous emails were blown off with form responses or ignored entirely. Review: I sold a iPhone 6 to Guzu on 6/**/2015, I have email confirmation they recieved the device on 6/**/2015. I was then told once it cleared through their check in process I would be paid via [redacted] within 3 buisness days. I waited over a week and there was still no deposit in my [redacted] account. I then emailed them back and was told by Customer service rep (Lindsey Y[redacted]) via email that their [redacted] account was experiencing issues and I would be mailed a check on June [redacted] and that I would have it within 3 business days, if not they would send another with tracking info. I have since numerous emails since that date and have yet to get a reply. I was qouted $420.00 for a iPhone 6 Verizon 64GB, I have not been paid and they took my phone. I have been scammed I believe.

I'm not sure what I have to do, I made a complaint once on the company and you guys must have contacted them so they sent me a check. I cashed the check and a week later my bank called me and said the check was returned due to insufficient funds on GUZU's end and charged me $15 return check fee. What do I have to do to get this taken care of? It's been going on for over two months now. Please help me. I have deposited two checks made out to daughter [redacted], a [redacted], from Guzu Inc, that have bounced due to insufficient funds. One was deposited on 11/**/14 and the item was returned unpaid on 11/**/14 for the amount of $95.45. The second check was a replacement check from Guzu for the same amount plus the $12 return check fee for a total of $110 deposited on 12/**/14 and returned on 12/**/14.

I am attaching documentation showing the above from my bank, [redacted].

My daughter [redacted] has sent her broken iphone to Guzu and was supposed to receive first the $95.45 and then the replacement check for $110.

From their check, their address is:

Review: I sold my ipad and iphone to Guzu. I haven't received my check for $475. I have delivery confirmation that on 7/**/15 WILSON signed for my package at 11:20am. I received and email stating that my check was on it's way and the check hasn't shown up. I have contacted the company 5 times and received no response. I have proof from [redacted] that my package was delivered. The check shouldn't take more than 2 days to arrive to me so I know it hasn't been mailed out. Review: I entered into an agreement with Guzu.com to recycle my Apple iPod touch - 2nd generation - 8 GB - 3.5". Once returned to Guzu.com, I would receive $29.40, paid to my Paypal account. This agreement was entered on 7/*/2013. They received the item on 7/**/2013 in good working order as I received an email from Guzu.com indicating receipt of device. They also indicated that I would receive payment within 1-4 business days (e.g. by 7/**/2013). I have not received payment. I have contacted them twice and left VM. No one has returned my calls.

Review: Guzu Inc. is a cell phone recycling company based in Deer Park, NY. On or about the beginning of April 2013 I sent the company my brand new Samsung Galaxy Note II to be recycled. The phone was sent in the packaging provided by said company and the cell phone was given a value of $290.00 US dollars. I was issued a check about three weeks later in the amount of $290.00 US dollars. I took the check to my local bank and deposited the check into my checking account. Yesterday I received a letter from my bank saying that the check was returned due to insufficient funds. I am now in the position of explaining to my bank what happened. I explained that it was fraud. The company took my property and gave me a phony check to cash and be responsible for the repercussions of a fraudulent check. Due to the poor operation of this business I now owe my bank the amount of the check, IN ADDITION to the $290.00 US dollars I owe them $25.00 US dollars for a returned check fee and ALSO $50.00 US dollars for overdraft fees due to that money not being in my account. I have not only written to the customer service email address provided by the companies website http://guzu.com/ContactUs.aspx but I have also left a detailed voicemail of the situation to [redacted] (Customer Service Representative) at Guzu Inc. Failure to contact me in a timely manner and resolve this situation will not only result in my contacting my banks fraud department but I will also be putting the correct documentation together to begin a class action lawsuit. I am a United States Marine and I do not appreciate being treated this way and will not be taken advantage of by a company that can't keep their finances in order.Desired Settlement: I not only want my $290.00 US dollars that I was quoted for the cell phone that Guzu Inc. kept but I also want reimbursement for any and ALL bank fees that I have incurred since the deposit of the check due to the funds not being available. All in all it is going to cost me nearly $500.00 US dollars to square up not only my bank account but to pay off any incurred charges by my local bank branch and keep my good name with my bank.

Review: I sent this company my phone and they were supposed to send a $115 check. I had to get my lawyer to send them a letter and they sent me a bogus check that bounced 2 days later. Review: A month ago I sold my iPhone to Guzu Inc through [redacted]. I was promised a check for $101.00. I received the check and cashed it. I couple weeks later I got a bank statement from Chase saying the check I had cashed had insufficient funds and was charged an extra $12.00. I email Guzu explaining what had happened and got an email back saying there was an accounting problem and I would get refunded with a check with the amount of $136.00. I received the check and put it in my account. Just yesterday June **, 2013 I received another statement saying the check had insufficient funds and was charged another $12.000. So now my account has been drained of $124.00 and my phone was not given back to me since they could not pay.Desired Settlement: $140.00

Review: Guzu advertises buying used smartphones. I sent the details of my iphone5 and was quoted a price of $75. After receiving a prepaid box to send my phone to them, the appraised my phone and said I would revive the full$75. I did not receive any payment over the next week so I contacted them. Their reply email said the payment would be processed and the issue was resolved. I received no payment over the next week. I sent them complaints on 4 different occasions and received the same email response. It's been over a month now and I see that many similar complaints have been waged online against guzu. If I can't get my money I at least want these people shut down.Desired Settlement: I want the $75 promised to me and Guzu's business practices placed under scrutiny.
