Hi ***, Thank you for your response.When scheduling a cleaning on the Handy platform, the booking is confirmed based on availability in your area when it is scheduled Once it is scheduled, it is released to available Handy professionals in your area, allowing them to attach themselves to your appointments.Because Handy professionals are independently contracted, they maintain their own schedules, and we are unable to assign them to cleanings If an appointment does not have a professional attached to it shortly before it is scheduled, it is rescheduled to our next available time, as was the case regarding your November ** appointment. As listed in section 4e of our Terms & Conditions (screenshot attached), we are unable to guarantee that though a booking is scheduled and paid for, that it is guaranteed to happen as originally scheduled. I assure you that this is a rarity, and apologize that it has been your experience We understand that this is a frustrating experience, and have refunded you the $cost, and credited your account $for the inconvenience that this has surely caused you. I have had nothing but problems with handy.comYesterday, they cancelled last minuteI then planned to cancel my plan, but was offered a free hourI took the free hour (which involved me clicking a button, but no promo code)The discount was applied immediately and I booked ($turned to $instantly)Less than an hour later, I logged back into handy.com and the discounted price of $was replaced with the original price of $I emailed them and was told that I could not get the discount
The final straw: After all of this, and being willing to pay $for service, I just received a message from the Provider telling me I need to reschedule because she is highly allergic to catsIn order for me to reschedule at this point, I would need to pay even more money! This was completely unacceptable
On three previous occasions, where the house cleaners did show up, they were either late, left early or did not have proper cleaning suppliesOne cleaner told me she wasn't given her cleaning kit yet and asked me what products did I have for herI will never do business with this company again

This is a horrible company I was using the same cleaner every month and he had my key Then Handy switched my cleaner while I was on vacation They did not inform me that this new cleaner would now not have my key and would need to be let in They also claim that I sent a message to the cleaner that someone would be home, but this was an old message from months ago Since I was out of the country the cleaner arrived without a key and couldn't get it They are charging me the full cleaning price and saying I canceled this cleaningNow, I want my key back and do not want to use this service and they won't give me my key
