I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am willing to submit all the required proof of purchase. As I stated this was not my fault, after spending close to $6,000.00 the least they could do is offer some assistance to loyal customer who planned to do future purchases. I do feel I have a case that I do not wish to get my lawyier involved.

credit.I apologize for any inconvenience [redacted] experienced. The service plan covers the product only. It does not cover delivery or sales tax and cannot be transferred to a replacement product. As indicated in the Terms and Conditions for the service plan, once a store credit for the replacement is authorized, the coverage is deemed fulfilled.Our Vendor Relations department reinstated the expired store credit on invoice 0031-030076. The credit expires in 30 days, after which time, we will no longer be able to offer store credit for the replacement of the washer. After review, I regret we are unable to refund the cost of the dishwasher.  Per the service agreement, Warrentech is only obligated...

toreimburse for product replacement the cost of the product, minus the claims they've paid.  HH Gregg can only take what has been given by
Warrentech under their plan contract.
In regards to the service plan, as a good faith cost to HH Gregg, we are willing to refund the service plan in full.  Attached is a cancellation form
and we ask that it be sent with a copy of the letter.

I'm a single mother of three children and ordered the only gift my oldest wanted for christmas (laptop) from their website on 12/16/14. I never received an email confirming shipment so I called their 800 number. No one was able to give me a straight answer as to why I was not inforned the item was not in stock and why I was able to add it to my cart and have the amount deducted from my bank account. Hold time each time I called was 15+ minutes and was hung up on as well when asking to speak with management. I was told the item shipped on 12/24/14 (christmas eve) when their site stated a guarantee delivery by christmas if ordered well after I placed my order. When I checked the tracking progress on 12/26/14. it still had not shipped! Needless, to say, my daughter did not have much to open on christmas...a box with a note promising a special laptop was on its way to her. Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!

Terrible place! Waited 5 hours for delivery that was supposed to be a 3 hour window only to recieve a damaged dishwasher...waited an hour an a half to speak with someone about my damaged dishwasher and when I finally spoke with someone, they said an exchange would happen two days later but I never receive anything! I called and there was no record of it (after explaining my situation to 4 different people). Prior to all of this to schedule original delivery and exchange microwave for a range hood...spoke to 5 different people who all refused to help me. I was told my original salesperson would be the only person that could help. I asked for compensation and was denied. Excluded many frustrating details, but hope this deters people from wasting time and money on this place.

I purchased a home a year ago from a deceased person who had purchased a transferrable 5 year warranty on 3 appliances they had purchased from HHGREGG in Bradenton FL. I have the original receipt, and called the warranty number to have service on my LG refrigerator. After 1 45 minute conversation, and another hour long call, most of which I was on hold, I was told that I have to produce a death certificate in order for them to transfer the ownership to my name. I would have no idea where to get one, and have a freezer full of thawing food, and they say they can't help me until they receive the copy of the death certificate at their data entry facility in Texas.
How long do I think all this would take? I believe that if they keep you on hold long enough, you will give up and have the appliance repaired at your own expense. Too bad for the person who spent $300.00 on the extended warranty on the refrigerator alone.

issue.
We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this may have caused Mr. [redacted]. Unfortunately we are not able to refund Mr. [redacted] the dispute amount.
-Delivery was at no cost
-Dryer was not installed due to Mr. [redacted] having gas line not capped (which is also visible in the pictures took by the delivery team)
-Old units were removed.
Mr. [redacted] did also sign off the delivery, indicating everything was fine, however we will issue Mr. [redacted] a $20.00 refund for the broken pipe.
We appreciate having the opportunity to answer the complaint.

The Sales People at HH Gregg are very nice but the extended warranty plan is absolutely awful...terrible! DO NOT buy anything there! You cannot get them to come out. They tell you find a repair place and pay for it and submit a claim. I will never buy anything else from them again!! This has happened multiple times. Never buy anything from them!
