The best tech ever, [redacted], again, did an excellent job. I love this guy. Trust him with my life when it comes to AC/Heating and plumbing.

We have used Horizon Services for 15 years and have always been pleased with the quality of work, ease of doing business with this customer centered company and the fair prices they charge. No matter whether we needed a drain cleared or a heating/cooling system replaced, Horizon has exceeded my expectations every time.

Got same day service as my call. Technician actually was able to get to my condo before my allotted range of time. Everything went very well. All services I requested were done ... Everything was fully explained prior to the work being done.

Review: Last fall the service engineer stated to my mother that our Heating/AC unit is over 10 years old and it needs to be replaced. As I walked into the room he elaborated in more detail that the heat transfer pump is faulty as it is making noise. He stated that it would be cheaper in the long run to replace the whole system then to replace parts. Also it would be cheaper to replace it now before winter repairs begin piling up which would make it more expensive for parts and labor. I told him that we need to think on it and he left. The next day water appeared below our heating unit. A local plumber that our family uses came over to install a vanity unit that week and checked our heating system out for us. He found that tubing in our condensation pump was "damaged" which he repaired. Also in his opinion the heating unit was operating perfectly after this repair was completed (no noise from the heat transfer pump).

In May Horizon sent a technician out to service our AC unit. He stated that the unit was performing adequately but since it was over 10 years old we need to replace it. We told him that we just got our roof replaced and we were not in the position to replace our heating/AC units at this time. A few days later it got hot outside again and the AC unit was not working. We found that the circuit breaker to our AC unit kept tripping. We called our local plumber who sent out his partner who is HVAC certified by Trane, Armstrong etc. He found that our compressor was improperly wired which resulted in our compressor burning out and needing replacement. I will let you make your own conclusions.

We didn't use Horizon for this work and will not let them in our house in the future under any circumstances.Desired Settlement: Refund of check #1456 for $198.00 for upcoming year's Heating/AC maintenance program.

Had defrost board replaced, however the tech. did not insure the unit was defrosted before he left. Called Horizon to inform them my outside unit was completely incased with ice. They sent a new tech out the same day. He defrosted the unit and changed the setting of the defrost board to prevent this from happing again.

[redacted] explained the process, thoroughly inspected the furnace, found what was keeping the system from running, recommended future correction and helped me realistically consider assessing system review for efficiency and comfort. He was quick, respectful, good sense of humor and very observant and careful of diagnostic details. I highly recommend him.

We recently moved and when considering who to use for our AC tune up I immediately told my husband how happy I had been with Horizon at our old house. Once again I was not disappointed with [redacted] and the service Horizon offers. He was honest (told me our system was 11 years old and they generally last 10 to 12 years, not news I wanted to hear but I would rather know now).

[redacted]. arrived at the time promised. He was very professional and completed clearing the main drain very quickly.

Our furnace was stopped working on a Saturday. When the company we have used in the past for service did not call us back after we left them two messages, we decided to give Horizon a call. Antonio came within in a few hours and had things running again in no time! He was thorough in explaining the issues and he even discovered the last service technician from another company had set our furnace to burn too rich, so we were burning more oil than we needed to. Antonio was courteous and professional and we will be calling Horizon for our regular furnace maintenance and cleaning or for any other issues that may creep up.

This is this second time [redacted] has been to my house. The last time was three years ago so it is good to see that Horizon is able to retain employees. He quickly and efficiently cleared my sewer line of the tree roots and provided a suggested recheck schedule to keep problems to a minimum.

The techs were very knowledgeable with a problem presented here.They were courteous, friendly,and answered all our questions.When all was finished,the mess was cleaned quickly and thoroughly.
