I needed a new water heater. I contacted Horizon Services and PSE&G for estimates and information. Both provided the same four (4) hour window on the same day. PSE&G arrived first by about a half hour and was much more expensive for both the heater and the installation. I had the impression that the installer had no leeway in the matter (equipment, new regulations, & PSE&G policy).

The Horizon Services Plumbing Technician Andrew S. had and used his leeway after consulting with his boss. Their new regulation compliant equipment and installation was a little more than half the PSE&G price, completed the same day, and with the same respect advertised in the Horizon Services TV commercials. I do recommend Horizon Services without any reservations.

Great tech. On time, friendly, and thorough. Performed the requested service and gave me options for follow up.

I was happy with the services provided by Horizon Services. The technician, [redacted]., was very personable/professional, understood the problems with my air condition (we’re on the same page), explained the issues to me in layman terms (what had to be fixed), fixed the air condition efficiently (not long as I expected it to be), and was neat with the clean up.

Great service, diagnosed the problem immediately as a heating/AC problem, not a plumbing problem, got me on the phone with scheduling to get the right guy.

I was satisfied with the visit today from the technican. He arrived promptly and resolved my problem. He was very professional and provided tips for me to avoid future visits.

Kevin showed up on time and quickly assessed our water heater. He affirmed our desire to replace the 21 year old unit. He went over the pricing and paperwork explaining our options. He ordered the needed parts specific to our install. The whole process was completed within the estimated time.

Hot water heater replacement - Ryan replaced our hot water heater efficiently without problem.

The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He addressed our concerns and answered any questions we had. He made us aware of additional services and products that may benefit us in the future.

Keith was knowledgeable and explained what he was going to do in easy to understand language, answered all of of our questions and explained the pricing in detail. Quick, clean, courteous service.

Charged $79.00 for service call, then wanted to charge me $380.00 plus the $79.00 to replace burnt out toggle switch on furnace. The switch is the same as any other light switch that you can purchase at Home Depot for $1.00. So they wanted to charge me $379.00 to turn two screws - a complete rip off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Review: I had a furnace installed at my home and the total price due at completion was $6,600. I had already paid them $80.00 for an initial visit which was to be credited on the final amount. The amount was not credited toward the final price of $6,600. I asked him if the accounting department would only be charging the difference and he confirmed it would be taken care of.Desired Settlement: I just want the $80 credit back to my credit card.

I had Horizon Services for the first time and I was impressed by the professional thorough service. I was so impressed. I signed up for their Gold plan. Now I won't have to worry if I need help because I'll be at the top of thie list.

[redacted] was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Ken wore shoe covers without hesitation and actually explained in detail my issue that I had with my drain and cleared it out.
