Just to clear up a few items: 1) The referral was my girlfriend (now my wife) and at the time I recall the policy mentioning account per userThis was not an attempt to refer myself. 2) To my knowledge, I did not resubmit receipts unless it was an accidental submission on my part for which I apologize3) Prior to my account deactivation, I am not aware of another account using my informationIf this account was under another email address, I would like to know that email address. I am rejecting this response because:I appreciate FINALLY getting a response explaining from Ibotta customer service that stated something more than "please be patient". This is the first time I had any details regarding what was happening and the process. I did receive the rebates that were in process but I'm still waiting for the Bonuses that were offered at this time also. Attached is a screen shot from the Ibotta app showing the $bonus offered between 11/3/& 12/15/17. There was also a $*** Bonus offered on 11/24/which was Black Friday and the date of my 2nd purchase. If they will credit these to my account I'll be happy to drop this complaint and move on

retainedWhen users operate outside our Terms of Use they are breaking this contractIf we allowed our users to continue this behavior we would jeopardize our reputation and relationship with our brand affiliates and other users. We verified that receipts submitted to us, through your account, were redeemed for rebate credit then the items were returned after receiving cash credit from IbottaPer Ibotta's Terms of Use, Section 10.2, users may not redeem, or attempt to redeem, Ibotta offers for products that have not actually been purchased and retained, or for products that have been purchased but returned to a store or online vendor, following purchaseRegardless of the intentions, such actions violate our Terms of Use and provide clear evidence for Ibotta to terminate a user’s account, reverse or correct user rewards balances, or take other actions as appropriate. I did not use same device because their system does not allow it because I invited a friend once and they wanted to use my misunderstood something as far as using the receipts more than one time then that is a misunderstanding but it said items can be claimed up to three or even five times per receiptBut I earned many rebates I spend a lot and used a lot of the items listed.The thing is they did this with the first bonus I earned and then the second one I earned was dollars it was obvious it was only once I reached the bonus I was deactivated both times

Hi there,Thank you for bringing this to our attention.It seems as though this user did not receive credit for their rebates because the rebates were deleted from their "Unlock Rebates List".When a user removes an unlocked rebate from their Unlocked Rebates, it will automatically deactivate that

It was NOT an oversight on my partIt took daily following up and sending my "proof" multiple times before they "fixed" their error I did get my credit finally but I will no longer do any purchases from their rebate promotions Requires way to much time and effort for $

receipts that are outside of the day submission time frameSome of these receipts are a few hours out of the time and some of them are a couple of days outside of the time frame. Hello, Thank you for the concern regarding your accountUpon review of the user's account, the user is submitting receipts that show an excess of purchases in single dayFor example, the account shows an excess of purchases made at a single purchase across the span of entire dayWe
consider this irregular shopping behavior and therefore believe that these purchases were made by other users and not the user in question. Also, on review of the remainder of the user's receipts, the user is consistently submitting invalid receiptsThis happened in excess of timesFor example, the user will submit a single portion of the receipt excluding the date time and then upon review previous receipts, the user is actually submitting a receipt that is outside of the day submission time frameWe believe that the user is purposefully excluding the date and time on the receipt in order to earn Ibotta credit fraudulentlyDue to the extent of the invalid receipts and the multiple submissions of single day purchases, we are firm in our decision to maintain account deactivation and the funds have been forfeit per our Terms. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the user's cooperation and understandingThank you
