direct violation of Ibotta's TermsPer Ibotta's Terms of Use, Section 10.2, users may not redeem, or attempt to redeem, Ibotta offers for products that have not actually been purchased and retained, or for products that have been purchased but returned to a store or online vendor, following purchaseRegardless of the intentions, such actions violate our Terms of Use and provide clear evidence for Ibotta to terminate a user’s account, reverse or correct user rewards balances, or take other actions as appropriate. I am rejecting this response because: I never submitted duplicate receipts! nor did I try to refer myself, that was how I found I already had an account I am willing to let Ibotta keep the almost $earned in the second account, which is well more than the $referral, only asking for account to be reopened If they are closing accounts and keeping peoples money that they earned that is fraud & scamming people

Hello, Thank you for the concern regarding your accountUpon review of the user's account, the user was claiming offers in "multiples" but the user did not actually purchase those itemsTo receive credit for a multiples purchase, a user must purchase enough products to satisfy their claim
For example, if the offer states "May be purchased times per receipt", this means that the user can purchase up to of the product, within the offer eligibility, and receive times the credit. On December 7, 2017, the user wrote our Care Team inquiring about why they did not receive their expected credit amountThe user wrote in multiple tickets about several different receiptsOn December 8, 2017, our Team wrote the user back and explained how to earn using multiples, how many times a single receipt may be submitted for credit on items (once), and the qualifying information required on receipts submitted to Ibotta. On December 10, 2017, the user submitted three different receipts in which the user claimed that she purchased enough products to satisfy multiples and also claimed products on the receipt that she did not actually purchaseOur Team was happy to provide the user with education regarding how to use and earn with IbottaHowever, it appears that the user disregarded the information provided by our Team. As a last time courtesy, we will be reactivating the user's account with the agreement that future submissions of the following can and will result in permanent deactivation: invalid receipts with missing information or shared receipts, claiming offer multiples without purchasing the required number of products, and claiming offers for products that are not actually on the receiptThe user's account may be reviewed at any time by our team for adherence to our policiesIf the user has any further questions, please write our Care Team at http://help.ibotta.com Thank you and have a nice day

I am rejecting this response because: whatever number was used previously you claim was a landlineI do not have a land line and have not since If a landline was used, how was it sent a confirmation text needed to verify the number? Yes, I have had issues with this company beforeIt’s rather ridiculous that there are so many hoops to jump throughIf a number was used, it could possibly have been through a texting app where the allow you to receive texts with a temporary phone numberIf that’s the case, I no longer have access to this number.the company refuses to let me verify my identity another way which makes it near impossible for me to receive the money owed to me

offers not present on the receipt- a receipt that had already been submitted for the same offers that the user had already received credit for- a receipt that was missing information such as the total, date and time, or retailer logo- a receipt that was folded or excessively marked that resulted in the receipt being marked as potentially tampered On 12/8/17, the Account Review Team completed a full review of the user's account and granted a one-time courtesy reactivationThe user has been educated that future violations of our Terms of Use in regards to receipt submission and qualifying receipts may result in the account becoming locked out or permanently deactivatedWe suggest that the user adhere to the receipt submission guidelines which can be found in our Terms of Use as well as within our Help CenterIf the user has any further questions, please write the Care Team.
