Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I will not accept this as a solutionRevdex.com you can make the call on how this complaint can be handledI am happy to close it as "Issue not resolved" or similar status The fact of the matter remains, I am being told to get my refund from someone who I dont even know existsI have made 15+ attempts to contact this person with no avail So the way to ask for my refund from the 3rd party is closed to me I appreciate that the Revdex.com is not an enforcement agency so there is really not much more that can be done here, but I will refuse to close this complaint as resolved I will also work with other backers of this and other projects on a Class Action Lawsuit against Indiegogo for what I consider illegal terms in the TOS It cannot be that a Business that is facilitating transactions between parties holds no responsibility in resolving disputes Sincerely, [redacted]

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/11/29) */ Indiegogo provides an open crowdfunding platform permitting funds to be raised for a wide range of projects in accordance with our Terms of Use (www.indiegogo.com/about/terms). Contributors, in turn, can help fund ideas they are... interested in and want to help be a part of. Campaigns are run by their individual campaign owner's and not by Indiegogo. Indiegogo does not manage campaigns, nor does Indiegogo offer perks. Instead, all perks are offers made by Campaign Owners, and we recommend to any contributor who has questions about a campaign's offerings that make inquires of the campaign owner. People can raise money for various things, and be at various stages of their project. Contributors are backing an idea, not purchasing a pre-made project. Like anyone contributing to an early-stage project, you accept the risk that the project might not come to fruition. Again, Indiegogo does not make claims or verify that a "campaign owner will deliver perks or that contributions will be used as described on the campaign." The decision to contribute to any campaign is in the sole determination of the contributor and their evaluation of the campaign, not Indiegogo. Although we are unable to refund the contributor's contribution, we have been in touch with this contributor to reiterate this matter, as well as share the campaign owner's contact information in an effort to facilitate communication. Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/12/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) When Indiegogo choose to send the contributions to the campaign owner is not and should not be the contributor's concern. I insist that since Indiegogo is acting as a platform for this kind of business transaction, Indiegogo should be acting as a buffer and assume responsibility, such as companies like Paypal. However, I am willing to settle for 50% of the refund ($57.5 USD). Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2015/12/28) */ We understand this customer has additional points on this matter. To clarify, Indiegogo is a global crowdfunding platform that empowers people to raise funds for the things that matter to them. Our Terms of Use (http://www.indiegogo.com/about/terms) obligates campaign owners to fulfill any promised perks. Perk fulfillment is the full responsibility of the campaign owner, not Indiegogo. Furthermore, contributors are responsible for vetting the campaign to their own satisfaction before deciding to contribute. Our Terms of Use states, "Indiegogo is an online crowdfunding venue for people and entities seeking to raise funds for their own Campaigns and to contribute to the Campaigns of others. Campaign Owners can offer gifts or rewards in the form of tangible items or intangible services (collectively, "Perks") to Contributors. Perks are not offered for sale. Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (4200, 11, 2016/01/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Indiegogo reiterates over and over about having shared the campaign owner's contact information with me so I may contact him directly for a refund. Please read carefully what I have written in my original posting - I have repeated attempts in trying to contact the campaign owner, to no avail. I recognize now that Indiegogo has no intentions in protecting its contributors and I will never get my money back. I have selected "no" in response to accepting this business' proposed resolution, because I deem Indiegogo's proposal unsatisfactory and do not want future contributors to assume this incident has been resolved. BBB is welcomed to post my experience on their website and note that this case has never been resolved.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/06/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They never responded to any of my inquiries about my campaign as to why it didn't meet their trust and safety guidelines, my campaign had been collecting funds and was doing well, they shut it down without explaining anything or releasing any of the funds I worked so hard to raiseIt was a legitimate campaign and there was no reason for it to be shut down or for my account to be frozenThey've still yet to respond to any of my emailsAlls I want is answersI did nothing wrong and feel as though I'm being punished

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
There's ticket number XXXXX as well as XXXXXX and XXXXXX, all of which were never responded to, I got a generic message stating that my campaign was frozen due to unusual campaign activity, I just want the funds that I raised for my causes back, they were donated to me for my campaign, this is just ridiculous now, I was crowd funding and collected funds, you people blindly shut down my campaigns and aren't giving me a good reason at all, you just keep saying you can share specific details about the campaign I deserve to know why!! Not just another generic response!!

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
What is Indiegogo's responsibly with the Campaign owners they accept to market? Does Indiegogo receive a fee/ or a percentage of the money given from the backers to anyone that claims they have a product? How does Indiegogo determine who they accept to advertise to get backers? While I backed a product, it has been determined that the bioring was a fraud and I have lost all the money I invested Indiegogo should have some responsibly in refunding my money After all, indiegogo is the company that charged my credit card, not the bioring company Furthermore Indiegogo claims that they have given me Bioring's contact information They only gave me an email, that came back to me as undeliverable when I sent an email to Bioring So Indiegogo does not have the campaign owner's information as they said they did I have no way to contact anyone to receive my investment back How do I know that Indiegogo didn't just keep my money? I have not been given any explanation except that they canceled bioring because they didn't live up to Indiegogo's standards I have no idea what happened, how they found out and what steps were taken to try to refund the backer's money I have asked Indiegogo to provide accurate contact information for the Bioring campaign owners, which they have not done Indiegogo continues to claim that they have given me a way to contact the bioring people and they have not done this How can a company such as Indiegogo continue to stay in business when they know they have helped a company like Bioring scam their customers? Indiegogo advertised on their site and stated statements, on their site to get people to invest in a scam This is not right and there is no reason for Indiegogo to not accept responsibility and refund the money they, Indiegogo, charged backers Indiegogo took my money, not Bioring, Indiegog should refund it in full I also never received information from Indiegogo that they no longer had Bioring company I only found out when I started checking to see why I didn't receive the product If a company cancels a deal with another company a backer should be told right away, and it should be explained in detail, and contact information should be accurate It is shameful How Indiegogo handled this situation, and takes no responsibility in the loss of money that it clearly had no problem takingTo charge my credit card under the Indiegogo business and not provide the product, or anyway to contact the makers of the product, is a gross mishandling of funds, and a clear indication of the lack of ethical business This is nothin less than theft How can they still be in business?
Sincerely,

So far, IndieGOGO will only attempt to avoid issues via technicality and will not directly address anything. This needs to stop

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because, as Indiegogo suggested, I contacted Intuitive Motion, with no success in the resolution of the problemThe company that received my fund via Indiegogo refuses to refund the money, however, they did ship a product (a defective one) a couple of weeks agoThe company says that they do not do refunds, and altoght they say in their web site that there is a refund policy, they WILL NOT honor it in my case, since the product was acquired via an Indiegogo campaignThis is insane: the fact that the product was acquired via Indiegogo is their basis for not honoring refunds on defective products!
Sincerely,*** ***
