LA Fitness contacted member regarding he concernsWe upgraded her membership to a Signature Club Membership to allow her access to all clubs nationwide and scheduled her for personal training at our [redacted] location beginning Monday 6/8/

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below the complaint is not that I signed a contractThe complaint is that the contract is not for the length I requestedI agreed to a six month term for the personal training and a one year membership, not months for both personal training and club membership/ When I tried to terminate the contracts I was told I could not terminate the contract during the initial contract periodThis directly contradicts what I told by the salesperson when I was sold the memberships I was told when I was sold the membership and the personal training I could cancel the contract if agreed to pay a penaltyThat too was a appears to be lie Regards, [redacted]

Management spoke with Ms [redacted] husband regarding this membershipOur Membership Policies and Club Rules and Regulations, clearly states that no member or guest may coach or train other members or guests (as solely determined by LA Fitness)Like most health clubs, LA Fitness does not permit its members to provide personal training services to other members, as it creates a conflict of interest and utilizes our equipment and space to compete against usMs [redacted] was given a warning in the past and an opportunity to cease these types of actsOn 9/21/it was determined necessary to discontinue her membership privilegesThe decision to revoke a membership is never taken lightly, but found to be necessary in this caseNotably, the LA Fitness membership agreement affords us the right to cancel a membership at any time for any reason, so there has been no violation of her contractual rightsAfter considering all factors we are staying with the original decision to keep this membership revokedThank you
