Dear Revdex.com,Thanks for the notifying us of this complaint again. With regards to this case we have gone ahead and refunded the amount that the customer has mentioned. Although our one time deductions of the services availed is around $79.99 but we have only deducted $20 from the total amount. amount of $224.99 on '[redacted]May 2013' for two years of tech support on his computer. So if we calculate it, 17 of the total 24 months on his subscription have already passed. We are still refunding him a huge chunk ( more than half of the amount he paid) in the form of a refund check. The refund, as always is the case here is calculated on pro rated basis and that's what we have followed here too. We have respected the customer's decision of terminating his contract with us even though there were only 7 months left in it and in doing so we believe we have gone well and beyond our policies to bring this case to a successful closure.We request the Revdex.com to consider this as our last response on this case and close it.Thank youRegards[redacted], iYogi

The refund check ( numbered [redacted] ) was dispatched from our end on 8/**/2014 . It normally takes 8-10 working days for it to get delieverd. The customer should be expecting to reach him anytime now.

 I received a call from a person saying they were callling in responce to my complaint gained control of my computer in the pretense of correcting the problem but gleened my information and I've been forced to change all my contacts, credit cards, and have my hard drive scrubbed.

Dear [redacted],Thank you for notifying us of this complaint again. We would like to reiterate what we touched on in one of our previous responses that the customer had asked for the cancellation of his services when there were only 7 months left on his two year contract. We always try to provide the best possible service to our customers and in case they don't like it we respect their decision of whether they want to continue with us or not. We have done the same here and refunded more than half of the money paid to us even though 17 of the total 24 months of the contract had already been used up. We think we have gone well and beyond our refund policies in bringing this close to a closure. That's the best we can do as a business.We sincerely request the Revdex.com to consider the above mentioned points and close this case.ThanksRegards[redacted], iYogi

The no mentioned by [redacted] belongs to one of our active customers namely [redacted]. He had some issues with his computer and that's why our techs were trying to reach out to him to get it fixed but somehow the call lands to [redacted]'s no. This is not a deliberate attempt to trouble anyone...

but we are just trying to help our registered customer.

Thank you for notifying us of this complaint. With regards to this case we would like to clear a few things here. Firstly the emails that we send to our customers are auto generated ones and they do not contain any malicious content which will cause harm to the computer. The emails...

are mostly regarding the working of Windows ( the OS) of the computer. The customer does not need to worry about his computer getting infected. we have though made sure that he does not receive any emails from now on.  Secondly [redacted] is an active customer of iYogi and if he has any complaint regarding our services or needs any technical help , he can call us and discuss it with us by dialling Toll Free [redacted]. We are sure we will come to a solution to all the problems ( Tech & non Tech) that he puts forward. We are here to help and it would be a pleasure doing so with [redacted].

As we spoke a few days ago, the company (iYogi,com) has still not accepted responsibility for the charge on my account. They continue to tell me their finance team cannot find the error and the fault lies with my bank, or that I'm not reading the statement correctly and that they have not placed any unauthorized charges on my account. I have spoken to the bank on 3 separate occasions, one of them with an iYogi representative on the phone with me, and each time the bank gives me the same answer. There were two of the same charges applied to my account by the same company and I only authorized one of them. 
This company has begged me to not contact the Revdex.com, and they will again look into this issue but they still have not given me a my money back. I simply have no choice but to update this complaint since it doesn't look like I will receive a resolution on this matter at all.  Could you re-open the complaint and update it with this information please? Thanks for your help.

Dear Revdex.com,
We have gone ahead and cancelled the remaining subscription that the customer had with us and initiated the refund process. The total remaining refund amount came out to be $259.38 . The money will get automatically transferred to the same account which the customer used at the time of paying. It takes about 5-7 business days for the money to show up in the account. We have sent an email confirmation for the same to the customer.
We request the Revdex.com to close this case now.

Dear [redacted],Thanks for the complaint notification. The complainant states that iYogi tried to charge an unauthorized payment from her debit card. We would like to to bring to your attention that we send an email notifying our customers about the auto renewal. The same email has...

an opt-out option and the auto renewal is carried forward only for the customers who do not opt-out. As we did not receive any response from the complainant so we initiated the automatic renewal charge for her existing subscription with iYogi. We understand that the customer had moved out of the country however we do believe that she had access to her emails for that time period. As far as the amount charged is concerned we have refunded that in full. We shall not be held responsible for the customer for not keeping in touch with her bank people. We believe most of the communications between anybank and it's customer happen over the emails. So we think the customer should have received emails from her bank regarding any transaction that would have taken place. We believe we have done whatever was required of us. We have respected the customer's decision of cancelling the subscription and acquiring a complete refund of the amount charged. Therefore, we humbly request you to close this case.We thank the Revdex.com for keeping us informed on real customer issues.RegardsART, iYogi
