PODS caused damage to my newly purchased home
My husband and I purchased a house at the end of January The previous homeowners hired PODS as their moving companyThe driver of the POD backed the metal storage structure into the garage door of the house causing damage to the doorI took pictures of the scratches on the POD (it was left parked in front of our mailbox for weeks after the closing of the house) as well as the damage to the garage door showing how the scratches were lined up perfectlyI immediately called the PODS customer service line and was told my call would be returnedApproximately a week later (2/8/16) I received a call from a MrKyle ** He stated that I needed to send pictures ASAP so I sent him the pictures that I had taken very clearly showing the damageI have since followed up with PODS every weeks to no replyI have requested of MrMthree times to speak with a supervisor and he has not complied with my requestWe are just wanting an answ

Double charged on three occasions, one issue they refused to help me

PODS storage box was emptied and picked up by PODS company in August My card is still being charged each month for about $for six months and counting I have contacted them by phone many times and they keep telling they have to contact someone else, and they will get back to me, but they have not gotten back to me in months

Charged for pods rental when pod was at my house

PODS has excellent customer serviceEvery person we encountered was helpful and very courteousAll our items arrived in the same condition as they were packed with almost no movement in the unit, and mine was a long distance move with a two month storage in between

My inlaws, husband and I flew out to New Hampshire from Nebraska for four days to clean out my husband's grandmother's house after her passingOn a Thursday we decided to look into getting a Pod to move some of the momentos back to Nebraska Knowing it was short notice, I called Pods to see if it was possible to get a Pod delivered on Saturday so we could load it before leaving on SundayThe woman I spoke to assured me that it was possible, gave me quote, took all the pick up and delivery information and gave me a reference number so I could call back with a credit cardI called back minutes later and spoke to another agent, gave the reference number, confirmed all the information and gave him the credit card information He said I would receive a phone call the day before the delivery date to give me a hour window for when the Pod would be delivered and then they would call me the day of the delivery date to let me know when they we're on their wayHe also said I would be receiving an email to confirm the order and delivery date which I did immediatelyOn Friday, the day before the Pod was to be delivered, at pm I still had not received a phone call so I checked my account online and it still had the delivery date as SaturdayI then called to confirmThe person I spoke to confirmed that it was going to be delivered the next day but they had not done the routes yetShe said I would receive a call in the next couple of hoursShe even put me on hold at one point because she thought they were in the process of scheduling it but then said they were still working on itI did not receive a call in the next couple of hoursThen, I went online again to check my account and it still said it was scheduled for delivery the next dayIn the morning I called once again to confirm that it was going to be deliveredIt was at that point the agent told me that it was not going to be delivered until TuesdayShe claimed that in the notes it said a voicemail had been leftI had received two voicemails (and three emails) from others, not Pods, who had received my contact information from Pods and who were trying to sell me packing servicesNo phone call from PodsThey said there was nothing they could do, but conveniently put a pending charge on my credit cardWe had to cancel our order and were left trying to find a way to get my husband's dead grandmother's belongings back to Nebraska

They don't give you clearly the information that you need
When you're going to order the first time they tell you that it's easy to schedule a final delivery and you can schedule the delivery to hours beforeWhen I tried to schedule my final delivery, the website was showing my delivery as schedule, but on the next day it was not showing anymore.I call them and I was told that it takes at least days because of the distanceSince they have my address and zip code on the first day the website should not give me the option to schedule days after the day that you requested
Now I'm getting into a new home without any furniture nos beds for a week and I'll need to buy mattresses to my whole family sleep because of thatYou need to search everywhere on the website to find something about the time that they need to deliver the container

This company has repeatedly charged my credit card for unauthorized transactionsI have called them numberous times for explanations and have spoken to multiple departmentsThis has gone on for monthsI contested multiple charges with my credit card and the charges were deemed incorrect, yet I just got charged two separate $Charles on 1/25, even though I have no pods with the company anymore as both were deliveredMy credit card isn't even stored and they still stored my number and charged it after the credit card company awarded me the moneyBefore these charges, I got charged for redelivery on 11/for $and 12/for $even though it was only delivered once, according to my invoicesI got charged $on 11/which was on none of my invoices on my accountWhat would this charge be? There is no breakdown on my account for thisI had pods, and each pod was "redelivered" only once after we moved, and yet

I highly discourage anyone from using this incompetent company Worst customer service! My story goes like this Ordered PODS and realized the day of loading that I was going to need another one I called PODS and requested a new container and the call lasted for two hours and fifteen minutes I also scheduled the pickup for all the PODS after loaded and was assured all three would be stored in Montgomery, AL, which would be the closest storage facility that would deliver to my new address in Auburn, AL The technician told me to just call about three days before I needed them delivered to the new address and there wouldn't be any issue There was a big issue They didn't store my PODS in Montgomery, they stored them in Birmingham and claimed they needed five days for transit and three day for logistics I spoke to three or four supervisors and nobody could do anything to get my PODS on the day I requested They did say that if my PODS would have been stored in Montgomery like they said there would not have been any issue THEIR FAULT! So they put in an account review and some guy called and stated they lost the 2:min call I had with them He credited my account $dollars and said basically take it or leave it and he didn't have to give me anything So I accepted I was getting my PODS on the earliest date they said I moved my entire family down the day prior because all three PODS were scheduled to be delivered They only delivered two of the three and stated the other one was never scheduled I asked if someone could just please contact the Birmingham facility and see if they can make an exception and deliver it the next day but was met with the standard "that is not our policy or procedure" I had to drive my family back to my parent's house to stay with them for another week because the one POD they didn't send is the one with all of our furniture It is taking them nine additional days to deliver my last POD and I'm having to take more vacation time off to unload it They also charged me for and extra month of storage because due to their mistake the PODS were in storage for more than days and they don't prorate monthly storage fees I will never use this company again They have ONE job, to deliver/store PODS and they can't even do that right WHEN they make a mistake, and they will, they will not fix it They will tell you to submit and account review and someone will get back to you in 3-days Not one time did I call them and spend less than an hour on the phone If you ask for a supervisor, they put you on hold for half hour and then come back on stating they are busy

The pod was initially delivered on 6/to my old addressI was told transit time was 6-days when I scheduled with PODSThe pod was here on 6/and was just delivered to my new address todayOn 7/I will incur a monthly storage fee because they can't be here to pick up the empty pod until 7/I was told by pods to call them after final pick up and get credited that storage fee backThat is not acceptableI have had to pick dates to their schedule this whole processMy credit card gets charged these feesI will call my credit card company and block any further charges from this companyAs if having to sleep on an air mattress for weeks wasn't bad enough because they don't tell you it will be weeks before they deliver your things, they want to charge me for their lack of availability

- A POD's container has been left sitting on vacant property next to mine for over years - It has been brought to my attention, by possible realtor, that property owner says she no longer pays POD for the container and has been trying to get the company to haul it away- There is no lock on the container which makes it a viable target for thieves; this is in making the surrounding homes and neighborhood unsafe and possible targets as wellMultiple people have been able to access the inside of the container - There is only trash and debris inside the container - Due to the container staying in the same location, being unlocked, and unattended to, individuals have been tagging it with graffiti- The container is an eyesore for the neighborhood and significantly disrupts the atmosphere, appeal, and appearance of the two neighboring homes and neighborhood - Very unprofessional that the POD company has let this issue go on for more than years and has not checked on the status of this con
