Most items were damaged upon delivery
I have nice expensive furniture that I take care of When I opened the POD I immediately noticed a headboard smashed through the box that my TV was wrapped up in As I continued to unload my items I noticed EVERY single piece of furniture: table, dressers, broken lamps, beds etchad several scratches in I have made so many calls to PODS about this and no one will return my calls

Billing dispute was ignored for nearly days, requiring multiple phone calls, all of which were not addressed by PODS
I ordered a POD for delivery and pick up with storage and destination delivery and pick upThis required an online profile creation and a phone call with a sale specialistOnce confirmed, the date and times for delivery AND SAME DAY PICK UP, as well as the included storage and final destination delivery and pick up, a total price was quoted, sent to me via email and confirmed by both partiesI was then charged an additional 110.00, three days later, without my knowledge or consentThis was described as necessary for the same day pick upI never agreed to the additional charge and it was never explained to me that an additional charge was necessaryI have had to call PODS times to try and get this resolvedI have also had to insist on an email contact to establish a paper trail of this incident

Pods delayed me days because of their system errorsI had to stay in a hotel for those days and buy all meals!

Increased Price for my Delivery
Back in December I set up the Pods to assist me with my move across the stateThey gave me a great price and told me that everything would be fineI gave them the path to which the Pod would follow as I wasn't moving right away and would need it stored for a few months beforeNow I have tried to set up for the Pod, which contains near everything I own, to be delivered to my new address and they are telling me that "because it now qualifies as a long distance move" I owe them almost $more to get my stuff deliveredWhen I asked them to explain to me why I owe that much money when they have known from the beginning where the container would end up they do not give me an answer and continue to say that I have to pay the money to get my stuffI went into my account to see the original paper work that was submitted to verify that they have known from the beginning that the container would be shipped across the state after being stored for a few month

I ordered two PODS to store my belongings while building a houseThe set up and delivery to get us on the hook was great and I have no complaints thereHowever, the nightmare began when it was time to receive our belongingsI tried to schedule the delivery of both at the same time and was told I would be unable to have one delivered in my yard without a permitI live in the country down a lane so I explained to them this wouldn't be an issueThey told me they wouldn't do it unless I had a permit with the county on recordI called the county who laughed at me and said I did not need a permit where I livePODS then told me they'd charge me a $fee to drop it in my yard, even though the contract states they can place it in a yard as long as there are no trees or power lines aroundI was attempting to have both delivered so I could avoid an entire months fee for only using the POD on day of the billing cycle, and they do not prorateThey then informed me that I would have to pay $per container to have them deliver itI explained to them my original quote was for free delivery to my old and new locationThey told me that was not true until I referenced my paperwork which clearly stated freeThen they agreed, but told me if I wanted my things I would have to pay the fee and go through a review with a claim number to attempt to get my money backAfter several calls, and two months I finally got my delivery fee backThe problems don't end thereWhen I scheduled the delivery of my containers I was all the sudden charged a higher monthly rate for both of my containers I was emptying (even when my monthly fee wasn't supposed to be charged for several more days)The customer service person told me it was because when I started a new order (delivery to my new location) it created a new account charging me the current ratesI referenced my contract paperwork again and told them they legally can't do thatThey agreed that they would AGAIN submit a claim to attempt to get my money backI've had my PODS emptied and returned for months, and they are still charging the elevated monthly rate to my card even though I no longer and using themI've called several times attempting to get them to stop charging my account nearly $a month when it takes them several weeks to refund my moneyI have threatened to cancel my card so they can no longer charge it, but if I do, they don't have an account to deposit all the extra fees they tried to scam me out ofIn all, they have attempted to scam me out of over $1,I do not owe them, and only agree I am correct because I saved all of my documentsI will never use them again!

PODS caused damage to my storage unit and items inside the unit, but refuses to give me access to file a claimThey are threatening to sell my items

I moved from out of state, to florida, I used pods for the move and spent almost $dollar's, when delivering the pod I was not told where I should place pod in driveway, so I told them where to put it and needless to say iy damaged my brand new paver driveway and when I called to complain I was told that my claim was denied, no one even came to look,also the second pod was an older pod, when we emptied the pod there were ants in the pod and it was very dusty in there, I dont know where it wad stored, the customer service person was do rude when I spoke to her, would definitely not use again or recommend to anyone

PODS indicated that the width of the contracted pod would be feet wideThe actual width (outside, maximum) was 7'8"I did take pictures documenting the actual size The inside dimensions between the 4xposts was LESS THAN feet! That is a major issue when your planning on an foot widthThis caused me significant problems as I had planned on placing a trailer on the pod which would not fit While the height and length were very close to the stated dimensions, and I have no complaints on those dimension, the stated width was significantly less than advertized Also, the cubic feet available was about 7% less (not 1024)
Also, I was told they would send an email the day before delivery in AZ on March 10, they did not I was told they would call me on the day of deliver
