I signed up for a PODS thinking I would need more than three monthsIn fact, we only needed it two monthsI understood when I signed up for three months that I was getting a special promotional rate that included free delivery(The delivery and final pickup fee is the same as a month's rental.) When I arranged to have it picked up, the CSR (Taneisha in Clearwater, FL) told me I'd have to pay the cost for delivery and pickupI expected that, but when I found out it was the same cost as keeping it another month, I suggested I should just keep it one more month, and it would be the same priceThen she told me I'd have to keep it two more months to meet the three-month obligation and get free pickup/deliveryThat confused me, because I would have made my third payment on the service in MayApparently, PODS time works differently than the rest of the world, because they bill in advance, so three payments doesn't equal three months of rentalsUm...okayNice math there
To be clear, I expected to have to pay for an additional month, either as an actual month's rental, or as the deceptively described delivery/pickup fee, but their version of math and time astounds meIt's definitely something of which one should be aware before rentingKnow they're going to get an extra month out of you regardless of how long you keep it--but it doesn't really count, because you paid in advanceLOL

Was suppose to have pod delivered on July1,They did not let us know of truck breakdown until PM Pod did not get delivered until 12:on 7/
As stated above July 1,was delivery dateThey never called us on progress of deliveryMy husband and I both called to try and find outThe main office could not contact driver nor the pod location on two different timesWe did not hear from them until 7PM That evening that they wouldn't be able to make delivery due to truck breaking downSaid they would deliver it first thing on the secondWe told them we hired movers to move stuff out of the pod and into our new homeThey said it would be there by 11:AM
Moving day July 2,the pod doesn't get delivered until 12:45PMMeanwhile we had to pay our movers for 1hour of no work since there was no podAlso it was very hard to get hold of where the driver was - bad communication and we weren't the first delivery

Cancelled order several times but continue to receive billing emails and requests to accept a rental contract I canceled times due non stop emails
In March a tentative order was set up for pod delivery for JulyDue to their incompetence the next day after a tentative order set up for July they tried to deliver a container to my house in March inconsistent with my tentative order and prior to accepting a rental agreement!!!
After numerous attempts to cancel the tentative order via direct phone calls to customer service I still recieve a nonstop barrage of emails seeking acceptance of a rental agreement and past due account notices
This suggests a fraudulent interstate billing scheme designed deceive people and charge them for services never agreed to

On October 31, My husband and I created a shipment with PODS company to have my things shipped from Mn to Ca We left Mn with our kids and animals and headed to Ca on NOV It was then that they made me aware of the gypsy moth form and a contract I needed to sign I pulled over on the side of the road and made this happen I had at least reps tell me that day that everything was good and my container was on trackOn Nov I was told that I was still receiving calls because the automated system had not caught up That my container was STILL on track November 3rd, same thing only this Rep told me I could possibly get my things earlier if I called them Monday morningWe arrived to our new home Friday in Ca Saturday I call and the gentleman on the phone could not find my container After a long hold and investigation on his part, the container never left MnI was then transferred to a manager named Maria

The have the same complaint I have all over the Internet they won't deliver my pods so they can charge more and moreThousands of people have written the same reviewThey are fraudsWhy are they a company you must on Revdex.com in good standing? They will not help you in any way any just push the delivery date out morels to charge you more

Billed in error for a second container I never ordered
After receiving my PODS order and waiting for final pickup of my empty container, PODS experienced a computer error creating a second order for a containerDespite this error being validated and corrected by regional market manager Rico Borrazzo, I have been continued to be billed for this second container I have made dozens of phone calls to PODS trying to resolve the matter but have been sent to collection for an order I never made or receivedI am completely paid in full for services ordered and received Balance due is for an order that never happened, and was not generated by me

We ordered two large PODS and shipping blankets PODS suggested using *** to pack the POD and unpack the POD at it's destination The *** personnel did not have the proper equipment to move heavy furniture up and down stairsThe first POD was overpacked so that the door would not shut on the POD
The worker tried kicking the boxes with his shoe in order to get the door shut and these were the boxes containing my wife's Christmas ornamentsThey just left with the POD door openI unpacked some of items and got the POD door shutThe *** workers used their own blankets and so the POD blankets went unused I returned the POD blankets to the sender's address but POD customer service repat 1-480-588-refused to issue a credit to our credit card We purchased the blanklets on March 28th and returned them to the Lawrenceville, GA facility and they arrived on May 10th and were received by Trejo We have put in a dispute on our credit card since PODS has our money and the blankets

I can truthfully say that PODs was a pleasure to deal with from the original phone call to arrange for the POD to be delivered and picked up to my experience with the drivers who delivered/picked up the POD on time There were no "surprises." Everything happened as was explained to me during the phone call and by confirming emails

Cannot get my things from storage as promised
When calling to set up my account with pods, I was told that hours notice was needed to secure my deliveryNow that I've moved into my house I need my PODs out of storage I have an over we could wait until I can get my thingsThis is not what I was told when I signed up for podsI'm asking them to amend their schedule and squeeze us in or refund the cost we will incur because we cannot leave our temporary housing situationAgain this is not what we were told that we signed upBait and switch at its finestNot to mention the customer

I have received numerous invoices in error for one single podThe issue is never fully corrected after multiple calls since 2/14/
The problem started when I ordered pods through the national call center to be dropped off Monday 2/22/My move was from Ohio to Florida, so I was unable to speak with the local POD office and told I had to coordinate through the national center for a long distance move
I received a phone call Friday 2/19/at pm from the local franchise stating they could not drop pods at my home Monday morning 2/22/The driveway was not big enough to fit units, and my township did not allow one to be put in the streetI had been speaking with the national sales center since January working on the details, and they were completely aware of my location and plansThis last minute issue was extremely upsetting, with no time to fix it before Monday morning when the units were supposed to be delivered

The compliant described below is applicable to the proration of charges for services provided during the monthly billing cycle
I contracted with PODS Enterprises, LLC of PO Box XXXXXX Baltimore, MD XXXXX-XXXX on or about 6/23/to utilize storage and moving services I was charged for the service period of 8/- 9/24, for storage and utilization of the PODS container, at a monthly rate of $279.99+tax
During the service period, the container was moved from the storage facility to my location and ultimately picked up prior to the close of the service period, as defined below:
8/- 9/2: Storage at PODS Facility (monthly rate of $279.99)
9/- 9/12: Storage at my location (monthly rate of $199.99)
9/12: POD picked up at my location
Although the services rendered ceased on 9/12, PODS has refused to refund me the proration amount paid for the period of 9/through 9/(of approx$170) as services were not rendered The response provided to me, is their policy is to

PODS charged me fees for services I did not request or receiveI used PODS to move from California to Wisconsin I spent over $in delivery fees, transportation fees and storage fees I chose PODs with the hope that their customer service would be superior to other companies However, after my POD was delivered at my address I was given one more additional fee- a repositioning fee I called customer service to request more information, and they said that this was charged when the driver had to return and move the POD, which had not happened I opened an incident and after two weeks of radio silence, I was told that the fee was accurate and there was nothing they could do about it After spending thousands of dollars on this service, they could not resist adding just one more charge for a service I had not requested or receivedSave your money and go with a different company with a little more ethical backbone

Picked up the moving POD 6/24/from Royal Oak, MI to be delivered on 7/3/to Olympia, WAUpon arrival to our place in Olympia on 7/6/16, we find the POD has not been deliveredUpon contacting the POD service we are told that they moved the delivery date to 7/6/and would call us back about the whereabouts, as they stated it was lost and possible delivery of our PODHowever, they did notUpon checking the status on the website we then find the delivery date is moved to 7/12/without informing usUpon calling on 7/7/we were told that our POD is in Illinois and there is nothing they could do about itDuring this process of attempting to resolve this issue, we were constantly bounced around from person to person with no resolution and spent most of the time on holdCustomer service was incredibly unhelpful in resolving this
