I have a pod storageThe day we left NJ I had a seizure and was held up in New JerseyWe owe one back payment and they are insisting we owe moreThey want us to pay to have the items sent to AikenWe do not have this money and dispute the amountWe are stranded here in Aiken with no money, clothes etc as everything is in the PODI am requesting they accept the one payment we owe and send the POD to Aiken

We rented a storage unit from PODs several years ago in order to store furniture, clothes, toys, and other items during home construction Upon redelivery of the storage unit, it was found all items were severly infested with bugs Bugs, both living and dead, were covering the furniture, in the clothing, and covering children's toys We notified PODs immediately and send pictures and video of the bug infestation We did ask for some compensation for months we had paid for the rental of the unit, and barring that had asked if PODs would remove the storage container with the infested items as we did not want to be responsible for the bugs and contamination PODs responded that the bugs were not their responsibility (despite the fact that they had the storage unit over several cold winters in which bugs would not have survived) In addition they refused to assist with any type of cost or removal process In addition, they stated they would continue to charge us for the storage unit

the way that they conduct business is possibly illegalthey leave their pods on property as long as they want and leave try to leave the cx liablethey do not and refuse to work with people when they are putting massive containers on propertysuch as apt complexes that only allow the pod to be there for 24hr periodYou call asking for their help and remain on long holds with no help

I used PODS to store my belongings and they picked it up in error before it was secure and all of my things are brokenThey will not respond to me
I used PODS to store my belongings and they picked it up in error when it was only 1/full and not secure and broke all of my personal household thingsI called them to complain and they opened up an incident number and then have ignored me case since 12/14/I have called over times and they keep saying they are looking into it and will get back to meThey asked to me make a list of items broken and take pictures of everything (which I have done) and they have still not asked for that proof or called me to complete the claimThey told me it is up to the owner in Las Vegas named "***" to handle this incidentI have spoken to supervisors, managers, a resolution team member and still no one has called me back to resolve thisThey told me in the beginning that they have a $limit on broken items and my stuff totals well ove

PODS took my order without informing me that they do not deliver to certain areas and now they refuse to deliver my belongings to my house
When I placed my order with PODS no one told me that they only deliver to certain zip codes They said I did not need to give them a delivery address at that time They delivered the pod to my former residence in *** MN *** They picked up the pod and brought it to their storage facility I scheduled delivery of the pod to my new address in *** *** MN *** for September 23rd On September 22nd, I found out that the closing was not going to take place on the 23rd and I called PODS to have the delivery date changed, at which time they told me they would not deliver to my new address The new address is miles from the old one and likely less miles than that to the nearest zip code that they do deliver to They should have informed me up front that they do not deliver everywhere I don't understand how they can refuse to

Misrepresentation of services provided; failure to provide services promised; failure to honor written quotes; refusal to transfer my call to manager
Sept I called for initial storage to long distance move quote, was told that the following zipcodes were serviced XXXXX Minn, XXXXX New York, and Marseille FRANCEBased on that info, I scheduled the first POD We subsequently filled and stored PODS October 2014, I called for a price to move the PODS to FRANCE and was told that your company does not service that area, so our PODS remained in storage Summer 2015, I called to request a price to move the PODS to Alexandria MN, and was told again that you do not service that areaFall 2015, I asked for a quote to move our PODS to your the nearest PODS facility to Alexandria, and was told the nearest was in Michigan, but that PODS could transfer our belongings to a moving truck, and was given a quote for that service of $ We then started looking into independent

My Husband, son & I moved 1,miles away to our new home using pods due to a under week deliveryWe're now on day sitting in a empty house
My husband was transferred by his company & we were asked to get quotes for moving companies & we chose pods due to its fast delivery & then we based our entire move off of their delivery dateWe were going to go with a van line who would have done all the hard labor for us, moving our items in & out of the house & they would have done it for less moneyBut there was a day waiting time & that wasnt going to work for us so we paid the extra $1000, decided to do the labor ourselves & go with PODSReceiving PODS @ our new location has been a nightmareWe were originally told they would be here on the 4th & they emailed us on the 3rd & said it was rescheduled until the 8thWe explained that my husband would be starting his 1st day of work on Monday & that we had to have them by the weekendThey told us no problem they figured out a

Taking money from my checking account without my consent

My experience with PODS was a nightmareThey claim to be military friendly but I had to educate them on numerous occasions my service policy (USMC) for weight tickets because they were not aware that it is not the same for all servicesI also had to call on numerous occasions to get my weight tickets emailed to me because the service representatives kept promising me that someone would email me the tickets but that never happenedI would also not recommend PODS for the movement of Household Goods unless you are a professional moverThe PODS are poorly handled during transit and storage and that surely will end up destroying most of your furniture as it did with mineOverall, I do not recommend PODS to any service member or anyone who plans on moving their Household goods unless you want to take the risk of your furniture being destroyed and have the hassle of dealing with uninformed service representatives

unable to access storage unit as confirmed
I had goods stored in a PODS storage container (cust ID:#***/*** and ***) for 1/years while living overseas to work with the militaryWhen I returned, I decided it was cheaper for me to retrieve my goods from the storage container myself, rather than have the POD delivered to me (Charleston, SC to Toledo, OH)After confirming the date I wanted access to my container (Sat of Labor Day weekend), by email (8/26/15) and phone, I made flight arrangements to SC and rented a moving truckWhen I arrived in SC and went to the PODS storage site, my unit was not made accessible to meSomehow there was confusion and an empty container had been provided to meI was quite upset by this, as I came a long distance to claim my goods, the transaction had been confirmed, etcNo one was available on-site to help me with this situationI contacted the national phone number, and I'm told they contacted the local managerI understand that mi

I was quoted a price for POD for a moveThen I was charged $moreWhen I asked them to remove my card, they refusedBait Switch
On Mon, Oct 15th I called the of PODS to enquire and possibly book two PODS for my moveI asked about the cost of Blankets, Insurance for the POD, and the cost of the POD itselfOnce I was certain that I could afford what they were selling; I booked the PODOf course, I was told by the woman that I should ABSOLUTELY book that day because PODS were being sent to help in the Hurricane relief and if I waited, I might not get a POD at all(BAIT)Toward the end of the call, I asked her to tell me exactly how much and on what schedule will money be taken from my accountI was told Oct31st, we would pay $- a charge for ONE POD, Blankets, and Insurance on the POD unit itselfThen on November 23rd, I would be charged $for the second PODIN total $I then asked if there were delivery fees or if that was includedI

Gave us information in order to gain our business when we wouldn't have used their business otherwise then refused to reimburse
PODS LLC has all of the relevant details as to dates and numbers and sales reps...My wife and I were going to use PODS to move across the countryWe thought we were going to end up in northern Idaho but when we realized we may end up in Montana we asked (and they verified this through phone recording) if it would be possible to get our POD delivered to Montana instead of IdahoThe sales repsaid yes and never asked for a zip codeThey don't deliver anywhere in MontanaHad they told us that they do not deliver to Montana then we would have not used their service and would have driven a Uhaul instead but we were willing to pay more for PODS for the convenienceSince we were told that they would deliver to Montana then we went ahead with their services just to find out two months later that they don'tWe were then forced to rent a uhaul and drive f

I was charged more than the amount I was quotedBut due to a system upgrade, my complaints were disregarded once the contract commenced
I was given a verbal price quote for a PODS moving container and told it couldn't be emailed to me in writing because PODS was "changing their computer system" I was specifically told that it should be automatically generated I received all correspondence from PODS, except for several price quotes I called several times to request they resend my quote in writing and they told me they couldn't do that They created incident reports and blamed the "IT triage department" but assured me that the price I was quoted was correct Once the POD unit was delivered and transport began, I was charged a total of $3,over three installments (My quoted total price was $3, My quoted amount included a $discount that they offered because they called me a "legacy customer" as I signed up just before their system change.) I was overcharged

Mishandling of items and severe misinformation/lack of communication
I was shipping my items from Boston to San Francisco, and I ordered their servicesI was told I will not be needing to do anything for the permits and delivery of the itemsI paid for them to handle the permits, which allows for the POD to be there for daysI planned my flights accordingly
They then called indicating I need to pick up the permits, which at that time I cannot anymoreIf they had told me earlier when I called initially, then I could haveThen they kept adding more requirements and at the very last minute (e.g., two days prior they asked me to put cones on the spot, even though the permits would not allow for this)
Then they said I can either choose for a delivery on 3/(with a pickup at some point on 3/10), or 3/with a pickup on 3/I asked for the day to decide, and when I called back, they chose to deliver it on 3/9, and I would need to do everything within hours (but it's a

When I booked PODS I was quoted that the redelivery of the POD would be $Now they are telling me it will be $to deliver my POD
On January 31, I got a quote and then booked for a POD to be delivered to my home, to be stored and then to be redelivered at a new addressThe quote was as follows: $to be delivered, $for storage per month, $to be redeliveredAt the time I told PODS I did not know where I would move and while it would not be out of state and would be local to my current locationPODS suggested that I used my current zip code as the final destination
Here is my customer and order number:
Cr: XXXXXXXXX
Order Number: XXXXXX
Today, May 24th 2018, I called to have my POD redelivered and was told it would cost $to deliver my PODI moved only miles from the original locationSo while I was expecting the delivery to be more, the drastic change in price is absolutely unprecedented and unacceptable

The company sends out bills on the day they are due or the day afterThen in a few days they send an "over due" email This practice has been going on for months When I called the company, the person answering the phone said the company wants customers to pay on line and that is why they started this billing practiceHow does one pay a bill before they receive it? We don't want to pay on line

Incredibly poor service was given, including double charges, uncommunicated changes, and failure to retain information over a number of calls
On October 1, 2016, I contacted PODS for their servicesI was moving from ***, TN to ***, CADuring the phone call, we set the date in which the POD was to be delivered(Oct11), picked up(Oct13) from ***
I was told the POD would take days to be delivered in *** and that I could expect it on October 24, With this knowledge, I scheduled my POD to be delivered on the 24th of October(Monday), and picked back up on the 26th(Wednesday)
With this information, I was quoted for a total of $2580, including all fees and taxes
On Saturday, October 22nd, I called PODS to check on my order; it was due to be delivered the following Monday(Oct 24)
I was told that I had not yet set up a delivery date, or a place to have my POD delivered
I explained that I had scheduled everything out, on October 1st, w

I reserved and paid for POD unit that I could not use for my pending move and wasn't told by Customer Service Rep that do not delivery in Chicago
My husband and I are selling our current residence and buying a new oneWe wanted to save on some moving expenses and after some research and reading reviews we decided PODS will be our best optionOn 5/15/I reserved for a POD delivery to my current home at *** *** *** *** ** for 5/20/My estimated delivery was between 1pm to 4pmAlso, during this transaction, I arranged for a pick and delivery to *** ** *** *** *** *** First issue, although I had a delivery window, the driver did not call until after 5:00pm to inform me that he will be delivering the storage unit within the hourI do understand the estimated delivery is a window and subject to change, but I would at least thought that the driver would call before 4pm to let me know this Next issue, once the driver arrived, we were discussing the placement of t
