delivery of my storage unit was scheduled for 11/18, it never arrived and no one every called me regarding a delay
I called on 11/to scheduled my unit for delivery on 11/ The transportation was paid for on 11/in the amount of $ I called several times the weeks of 11/and 11/to make sure that the unit was in fact in transit - and each time was assured that it was - even tho on my end it still showed that it was sitting in Steel Creek, NC The night before I did not receive a delivery time window - so I called and was told that it arrived late and would be routed in the morning The following morning I still did not receive a call with a time frame so I called again I was then told that it was still in transit and would be routed when it arrived I called several more times on 11/and was repeatedly told it would in fact be arriving tonight they just could not give me a time window I sat home ALL day because I have to be able to let the driver in the gate

PODS was a pain to work withPlease spend a little extra money and go with another companyThey delivered an unusable container that had a crack in the ceiling about inches wide with tons of water damage insideThen it took phone calls to the Florida based customer service to get them to deliver another containerYou cannot contact the local PODS distributor directlyAll communication goes through the toll free numberTheir fees are ridiculous and will not pro rate if you do not use the container a full month

Irregularities in billing processes including overcharging and unauthorized credit card chargesPhone calls involve changing explanations
In we contracted for a PODS container, receiving paper statements and paying monthly by checkInexplicably in an additional $monthly charge was addedI made calls to remove it; it later reappeared and I made more calls to remove the accumulating chargeOn 8/7/I was promised a credit for the unauthorized overcharges (Claim number XXXXXXX)Today I called to inquire about credit and was told by Billing that the inquiry to issue the credit was cancelled, also inexplicitlyOne representative said the inquiry was cancelled but wouldn't have led to a credit in any event because such credits can't be issuedThis was an odd responseIn any event, two representatives said the credit would now be issued
Separately, PODS started charging my credit card without prior authorization or notificationIn response to a call from PODS in

This company told us on numerous occasions they would pick up PODS from our homehome sold and the PODS were still on property
The company scheduled a pick up of PODS from our soon to be sold house for the 2nd of May They did not come on teh 2nd so we expected them on the 3rd and yet they did not come to pick up PODSOur house was going to be sold on the 5th so it was imperative that they come pick up PODS since the house was no longer oursOn the 5th the POD was still on propertyFinally on the the POD was picked upMeanwhile, there were other PODS getting picked up at their scheduled timeWhy did they leave ours sitting for over days? Horrible business practices and the address is actually in Des Moines WA but they don't have an address on this website for that buildingThis is the worst experience ive ever had with a companyThere is not a manager at location to helpyou have to speak with someone in FL who also does not have access to mangerThis company is ver

Doesn't deliver to location promised for storage continues to charge for unused pod unable to be picked up due to weather unhelpfulcustomer service
Payment through capital one problem started September multiple customer service reps only one I can remember was Mary payment amount 4,dollars phone number tied to account XXX-XXX-XXXX sales rep lied or used play on words to lead us to believe our pods would be stored in Tuscaloosa AL when we moved down from Westbury NY which lead to our stuff being stored in Birmingham AL wouldn't deliver to our house in Kennedy AL said it was outside the mile service area had to deliver to friends house in Tuscaloosa AL on unpaved surface now they can't pick up the last pod due to rain and continues to charge for unused pods in friends yard due to inability to pick up

Not honest and/or forthcoming regarding delivery to Hawaii Island
I was initially told it would take days for my POD to get to Hawaii Island I was not told that it would be my responsibility to unload my stuff at the port, when it arrived I am now told (by the barge company in Hawaii) that it will be August 28th before my POD arrives, and I must unload it at the port, as POD does not deliver it to my home I must hire another company to help me with that None of this was mentioned previously by PODS By the 28th, it will have been days for my POD to arrive This entails me renting a furnished place to stay awaiting arrival of my POD, which I now must extend another days from the date of August 18th that was provided me by PODS (that's the last date they provided me, which was also not true)

The *** *** location of your PODS and PODS corporate has significantly let us down and has costed us an additional $just for PODS faultsClearly, given that a news company did a story on the major issues PODS is having, particularly in*** ***, this is obviously not an isolated incident, and we will continue to pursue some retribution to the incredible amount of money we had to pay and the stress endured trying to move our loved one across the country We want to file a complaint requesting $be paid back to us.If you need to, please see the attached news story : http:/***XXXXXXX-story3Regarding; *** *** location on 5/4/through 6/3/I ordered a large Pod container to be delivered in Santa Rosa, CAto move my mother back home to Minnesota Events:I spent an hour going over the exact container drop off location using google maps, as did the sales person to confirm the correct location (Latitude/Longitude) with the salesma

I was extremely frustrated with their unprofessionalism, incompetence, and inability to take accountability for their errors

Several employees or reps were communicated with
Account-XXXXXXXXX
I spoke with them about a past due statement sent in the mail in error because they had my grandmother's card on file and an agreement date to draft the fundsThe informed me that their system had a glitch and did not take the paymentOf course when they tried over the phone, it didn't go through because it was the end of the month and my grandmother is on a fixed income, so therefore the money isn't availableShe is coming upon another month which another bill wil be due and she can't afford to make a double paymentThey claimed the best they could do is put her on a payment planWhen I told them that she has a certain amount a month to work with and she is years old and can't afford to be inconvenienced by their errorAccording t

RE: Requesting an escalation to arbitration department
RE: Requesting an escalation to arbitration department
Good Day,
First I would like to Thank You for The quick response to the issue I was having in regards to these chargesIt is the kind if response I am accustomed to experiencing with PODS:)
Unfortunately, I have run into a problem with one of PODS employees (Horresia M) In Feb/Mar a charge of close was wrongfully removed from my redwood accountWhen I brought it to POD attention, they apologized and returned a little over of the funds back to my account
When I called to find out why all the funds were not returned? I was told that they had no proof (on there end) that this amount (1600) had been removed They only showed the 900.00, which they promptly returned An incidence report was filed (XXXXXXX) and I was reassured of PODS commitment to its costumer and that all would be made right as soon as they had proof of the additional $

PODS caused property damage to my driveway and refuses to repair it or give me thier insurance information to allow me to turn in a claim
On 1/23/PODS returned to our property to pick up PODS they placed on our property a week priorWhile picking up one of the PODS the driver drove up the corner of our cement pad and broke the cementAfter several months of going back and forth with the company and having it nearly impossible for a return call or return email, Kyle ***in thier Risk Management Department finally returned my call this morning to tell me that per the contract my mother *** *** signed, they do not cover the integrity of drivewaysI have asked several times for the name of thier insurance carrier as the carrier is the one who will be the one to deny the claimI should be able to turn in a claim to thier Carrier since they have refused to do so

I was told repeatedly that I could cancel my order without any penalty before 9/4/2016.I called to cancel on 9/2/& was told they can't give me any confirmation of my cancellation as the cancellation number/proof will arrive through email in 15-minsI never received cancellation confirmation & called againAfter learning they had entered my email incorrectly even though I clearly stated it THREE times, that they can't send another cancellation confirmationI now have no proof that I cancelled before my deadline & they have my credit card information! Do not give these people your private information they are scammers! All I want is proof of my cancellation should bogus charges appear on my credit card!

I was double invoiced for a service from PODS I have contacted them multiple times (5-10) regarding this issue with no resolve
I have contacted Pods several times to try to resolve an invoice that was invoiced twice to meI have tried a total of times, four of which I was directly transferred to their accounting department and told to leave a message and that I would be contacted within hours I have not yet heard back from any of the messages I have left with the accounting department and every attempt at contacting PODS, they direct me to accounting I am at a loss and don't know what to do I don't want to overpay for my pods, however I also do not want to be falsely hurt by not paying an overdue invoice I have no option left, but to pay the wrongly invoiced amount of $in order to stop them from sending me daily emails/reminders and to damage my credit I am very disappointed to say the least since I have contacted them immediately following the wrong invoice

The storage that was provided was damaged and therefore due to weather my personal property was damaged as well, and never delivered
I have attempted to utilize pods services despite all the negative reviews I've read online, because of course to each their own opinionHowever, this has been the worst experience of my life to date and I am years oldFirst and foremost I suffer from severe back pain due to spinal fusion and multiple spinal rods implanted into my spine, and I do suffer from severe anxiety and panick attacks which are majorly caused by stressMy husband and I decided to move to Orlando for an easier life leading to retirement, but PODS made this process extremely difficultI paid for all the necessary services to provide me with ease in order to complete this move from New York to Orlando, however it was more difficult than everPODS provided me with a damaged container which I have pictures off, that let water enter while my property was in there, we're talking

Pods Gave us the absolute most miserable of moving experience of Our Lives!
Not only did they drop our Pines causing $10,in damage to our furniture they would not take ownership to their mistakeWe purchased the additional insurance and even then pods did not want to hold up their end of the dealWord of warning make sure you video tape everything when you put it in the pods and immediately when you take it out cover your bases and hire a professional moving company pods are not worth it

Container delivery delay and billing issuesBank account shows random charges and refunds
My wife and I were using Pods to store a container locally in *** before requesting to have the container transferred to ***Around the middle of March when I placed the order Pods stated that the container would be shipped the first week of April (guaranteed this part), stored locally in the new location (Denver area), and then be delivered to our home on April An individual from the company was confused as to whether we wanted our container shipped or to have an empty container shipped to Denver from ***After confirming the order the representative from Pods once more guaranteed that the container would be shipped the first week of April though the delivery date could not be guaranteed though was still set for April As such, I called numerous times before April to confirm the orderAround April I received a brief phone c

PODS overcharged us by over $then after agreeing to refund us $they instead billed us an additional $No refunds have been made
PODS overcharged us by over $and when we called to conplain they agreed that they ha made several mistakes wnd would refund us $ We waited for a week for the money to come back into my account when instead of a refund I found they ha billed me an addition $for nothing! We called and the manager said he would immediately void the second charge and work on our initial refund of $ Neither charge has been voided and we are not in over $1100!!! They have messed up our finances so badly and they don't careHow am I supposed to buy food for my children when they have stolen $from me!!

I was quoted one amount and was repeatedly charged amounts above my initial quote In order to speak to anyone, I was hold for hours at a time
I initially placed on order in late January, I spoke with a very friendly gentleman who answered all of my questionsI needed 16' and one 12' container I was quoted $per month for months He ASSURED me that there would be no extra charges for delivery, re-delivery, pick-up, etc NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES because of the promotion I signed up with He also noted that the computer system would change the next day so I was lucky to get such a great deal Immediately, PODS began charging my credit card random charges On January I was charged $and then on January I was charged $844.94! Well above my initial quote After sitting on hold for minutes, which I DO NOT have time for, I was told that I would have to wait for someone to call me back to give credit back to my account That didn't happen, and after

The POD driver scratched my driveway, ran into my mailbox and ran over a tree bed and damaged the soil and mulchI submitted a claim and photos of the damage to PODs and after an "investigation" they denied the claimThey never sent anyone to my home to assess the damage and will not provide a point of escalation so I can appeal for resolutionThe costs to repair my driveway is $It will also cost $to replace the damaged mailbox and another $to repair the tree bedI will file a claim with my home owners insurance company if I have to however, I would prefer to work directly with PODS to recover my losses

I recently began renovation on my home, and in order to do so needed a place to store the contents of my home I therefore contacted PODS and requested a foot unit be delivered to my home for this purpose I was given a quote of $per month plus an additional $to insure in the event of damage When I spoke with them initially they indicated there was a fee for pick up and delivery of the POD of $ On 1/24/18, when they came to deliver the POD they brought a 16' unit and indicated they were out of 12' units but I would only have to pay for what I had ordered initially They proceeded to deduct $every month from my account.I contacted them the first week of July to inquire as to whether or not they would prorate their monthly fee if I were to request pickup after the next due date, and they indicated they would not They said that I would have to pay for a full month if I failed to request pick up before the 24th of the month, but so long as I gave notice befor

PODS is a deceptive business How is it possible that it is an A+ business here at Revdex.com when 46% of reviews here are negative? I called PODS to find out about the sizes of their containers to see if this would be a viable option for us We already have all of our stuff in boxes and so thought that instead of hiring a moving company, we could load a container ourselves I explained to the woman on the phone that I had a 3-bedroom house to which she replied that their largest container would suffice I even detailed the larger pieces we have Now, we don't have a house full of furniture and the third bedroom is really an office with only a computer desk and chair Our couch is a seater and we are a family of with a king size bed and single bed We do not have much furniture because we move often, so I'd say our house is not the average 3-bed American house This woman assured me that their container would be what we needed and so I purchased the rental agreement Their 16-foot container arrived at the date agreed, but I was in shock to see its size! I looked at the volume of my boxes and furniture and concluded that I'd need at least one more container of the same size to fit my house in, or maybe even more Now, I'm not an expert on truck sizes and volumes of containers, so I trusted the customer rep at PODS Bad idea I called PODS back within minutes of the delivery and asked them to retrieve the container right away They told me that their largest container fits a "4-room house," so basically "bedrooms, a living room and a dining room," and I quote Well, like I said, our third room is an office with a desk and chair, so we could say ours is a "4-room house." And considering we have less than the average family, how in the world could they say that this fits a 2-bedroom house? PODS had no apologies to offer and told me that they would charge me the delivery fee anyway, a $value plus tax and that they would reimburse me only the monthly fee I agreed to pay for the delivery fee; however, later I noticed my credit card had been charged another fee of $163.20, something I had never been informed I would be charged It turns out this was the pick up fee So, PODS misleads their customers about the size of their containers and gets to charge them excessive delivery and pick up fees This is certainly one way to profit because these fees of delivery and pick up are about 43% more than one monthly fee! In addition, PODS' customer service is impolite and insensitive to their customers' needs The last person I spoke to about the extra pick up fee, someone called Jose, was very uncooperative and rude by raising his voice over the phone PODS also is smart enough to hide as much as possible its business practices by not allowing customers to contact them in writing Their website will not provide a customer email address or even a physical address to their customer service department I called some numbers provided here at Revdex.com.org for their headquarters and asked for a customer service email address or even a physical address The person on the phone replied that she did not have an email address or physical address for a customer service or complaints department I called PODS back to ask for an address and was on hold for over minutes and no one picked up the phone I had also spoken to other customer representatives from PODS on the day of my complaint, Carlos and Clifton The first had said I'd be reimbursed the monthly fee and would be charged only the delivery fee The second would not confirm this and said he could not reach the department that resolves the issue and that he would call me back later that day He never did I will never use PODS again and will make sure their deceptive practices will be known throughout There are negative reviews all over the internet about PODS I only wish I had done my research first
