I rented a Pod to move my belongings from Miramar Fl to Citrus Springs FLAnd when I received the container it was contaminated and infested with rodentsI found rat droppings and visible rats living in my containerI just purchased a brand new home that is now infested because the boxes that were removed from the pod container had rats living in the boxes and plastic containers that I had packedSo when I call them the representatives that I spoke to begin to laugh and make jokesSo today I get a call saying there is nothing that they can do It's not fair

I entered into a contract with PODS for a long distance move between Carlsbad and Bethesda MD as part of a military move This facility was instructed numerous times, and confirmed numerous times, that a full weight ticket of he POD and truck MUST be performed in order to provide an accurate weight to the Navy House Hold Goods Division for reimbursement of the moving related expenses The weight ticket was time stamped in the corporate office as having been performed I called the national office every other day for weeks (between April and May of this year) to confirm that it had been done, and to request that the weight ticket be sent to me I was told multiple times that it had been done, and that it was being sent, but it never was Now, after my POD was moved across the country to Marlyand, I called one more time and was told by the corporate office that it had not in fact been done, but that I had been lied to The fact was that the weight ticket was performed as it had

A driver from Clearwater Florida Pods delivered a full container to our address at XXXXX *** *** todayHe seemed to be impaired, rude, destructive to our property including damaging flower beds, rock scraping and drivewayHe directed the Pod over our sprinkling system alsoHe was having a hard time directing the Pod into the same area that it was picked up from over a year and a half agoWhen it was picked up in to head to Pods storage, there was no inside cre, nor was there no inside cre when it was place there three weeks earlier, but this driver today said it was impossible to put it in that spot and said he didn't believe that it had been done twice before without incident*** the Pod delivery man yelled at the senior, vetern, experienced Semi driver that I had waiting at the house to direct him in the drive***

Over Charge and no resolution for months
I put pods in storage for daysAt the end of days I gave PODS my moving address PODS could not tell me the delivery costs Repeatedly, PODS could not give me a costs Just prior to move, PODS gave me the total bill The charge to my credit card is much more than the charge I was quoted For months I disputed the amount, for months I've been transferred to person to person During one conversation, the PODS Persons agreed I was over-charged $ Sometime later, a second PODS person said: in addition to that amount we owe you $ I received the refunds Just last week I was quoted a different charge for the move No where in writing, not in my contract but I am supposed to accept a charge which is $more than the amount I agreed to

PODS delivered out container to the wrong spot, blocking our garage door and entrance to our house I called three days in a row to have it moved to the original identified spot on our driveway I was told they would contact the driver/delivery company After three days of no response we cancelled the order It took PODS another week to come pick up the container We never used the container in any way, yet PODs seemed to think it was OK to bill us for the entire amount We were disappointed in the lack of customer service Eventually, we found out that drivers can place the POD anywhere they please without regard to customer's directions Why did they bother to ask where we wanted it if they were going to put it anywhere they wanted?

Received quote from PODS that was inaccurate
I contacted PODS re a move from MI to SC My initial contact was a result of moving to *** and they offered a 10% discount with PODS The initial quote from PODS was less than any other quote I had received, however, when I mentioned the weight that I was transporting and that I owned a 4BR, 3-1/bath sqfthome, the PODS rep stated that PODS would be sufficient I questioned that on the intial phone conversation, however, he assured me that would be sufficient He was wrong and off by one POD I had to scramble to get another POD delivered and much to my surprise, I was charged an additional $ I have attempted to resolve this issue with PODS since 7/27/16, however, I keep being told they have very few people in the complaint resolution department and I just need to be patient I was unprepared for the PODS move to be substantially higher than the other carriers contacted Is this some type of scam?

This is an extremely unreliable outfitThey do not keep their end of the bargain when it comes to deliveringThey send multiple comflicting emails and keep changing dates and delivery windowsEven when thy cannot nake their delivery window, they preface it by "this is just a window of time - doesn't mean we'll deliver at that time frame." Stay away from themThere are many other options

I have been calling for months regarding our 60" TV that was damaged while stored from extreme heat I was referred to their underwriter and she stated that POD is responsible for the damage but POD keeps sending me back to them They never return any of my many calls and refuse to help me with this matter My TV was damaged while at their facility and they should be responsible for replacing itIt seems like there is no one there that has the authorization to make a decision on this claim

The PODS accounting software is glitched and keeps trying to charge my PODS account erroneously

After calling the PODS company numerous times over the course of the last month I have finally resorted to filing this complaintI have been told numerous times that the wrong invoice would be corrected to reflect my actual order, as of today I was sent the exact WRONG invoice againI can't seem to get anyone involved that understands my frustration and keep getting the run aroundI was originally billed $6,and on 3/I called to see why since my order was for a total of $1,I received a credit for the difference, but the invoice still shows that I owe $6,I need this corrected so I can be reimbursed for the moving expense

I contacted PODS regarding getting a quote for our long distance move from Michigan to Florida This move was scheduled during December and completed in January The initial quote was for one 16-foot POD to and from our house in Michigan, storage and delivery to our new place in Florida I was told the transit fee would be $1, Once we saw the first POD, we knew we would need a second 16-foot POD So, I called customer service to schedule delivery of a second POD She told me the cost of the POD and said I would now receive a discount off the transit fee in the amount of $ There was no mention of a "separate" transit feeIt would get worse from here because we could not fit everything in the second POD and decided to call and get a third POD delivered; which the only POD size available was 16-foot and we only needed 1/of the POD Again, we were told there would be another discount of $off the transit fee Furthermore, there
