I hired PODS for storage and cross country move from Texas to Florida
My items were damaged along the way - most likely during delivery because of a broken PODS lift systemI have documented evidence to prove it show the wheel of the moving equipment fell off during unloading

I used a POD to store furniture from a rental home we had sold in Mesa, Arizona They advertise that your POD will be available with hours notice However, I called two weeks in advance to arrange my POD to be delivered and I was told that they couldn't possibly deliver it because it was their busy season As I was doing an international move and needed the furniture to be delivered on a certain date, I came up with the idea that I pick it up at their warehouseThey agreed and we set the dateI went an hour early, arriving when the PODS office opened to make sure everything was set up for the movers only to be told that I would not be able to get my POD that day because their fork lift had broken down They were sorry and said that they had called the company that notifies people the day before at 3:and they were sorry they hadn't contacted me They were doing what they could to get the fork lift working again I asked to speak to the manager and the receptionist called someone and it was agreed that I should talk to the employer who was in the office behind her He assured me that he had called the company responsible for notifying people and had let them know how upset he was I asked him why they had not rented a fork lift since that was their only job was to move pods out of the warehouse and no one was getting their pods for the day and his employees were sitting around waiting to do something He explained that they had someone working to fix the fork lift and if it was fixed, they could maybe get my POD for meIn the meantime, there was nothing for me to do but go home So, I had to drive minutes back to my home and as I arrived I received a call from the "company they hired" telling me that my POD would not be available that day Turns out it was the PODS head office in Florida--not a separate company that they had hired to tell people I discussed what had happened that day and explained my frustration with the fact that they hadn't even tried to rent a forklift and they had lied about using a separate company to contact their customers Within half an hour, I received a call from the PODS store in Mesa saying they were renting a forklift and my POD would be ready shortly after 1:in the afternoon Moving is always stressful and PODS not only broke their contract by not being able to deliver with two weeks notice but then was unable to deliver on the day when we agreed to go to their warehouse at great inconvenience Worst business I have ever dealt with!!

I placed an order with this company and never confirmed my order and was still chargedI then cancelled the order and was told that I would be refunded within daysThen I called a week later after still not receiving my refund, and was told it would be another daysI called another week later and was unable to reach a repI was sent to billing to customer service back to billing and they were unable to determine why I hadn't been refunded

When I contracted with PODS to move my belongings from ID to VA they told me that if I need my stuff delivered and gave them days notice that they could deliver it to our final destinationI notified them days before I needed my belongings delivered, and they then told me that they could not deliver sooner than days and should not have to pay for the extra time since it was their faultI then went to pay my final payment and noticed that it was $more than it should beThis amount accounted for an extra month's rent and insurance on the PODI attempted to resolve the issue with the company but they were not willing to abide by the time scale that they set and offered me a sum of $200, which would still have had me paying $to them because they could not deliver the services on time as they had promisedI attempted to work with them to resolve the issue, but they would not budge, so I paid the fee and brought it up with my credit card companyThe credit card c

A friend has a container in storage with PODS Her payment was due and did not have a credit card to make her payment She gave me the cash and I put the payment on my credit card twice Each time I spoke to the PODS representative before giving him my credit card information and confirmed that this was a one time payment and that my information was not to be saved or used again Well PODS saved my credit card information and is billing my credit card without my permission I tried to dispute the charges with my credit card company and even got them to change my credit card number According to my credit card company they have a contract with PODS and can continue to charge my account even with a new number The only thing I can do is close my account
Anyway, I have charges from PODS on my credit card totaling $ and they will not even speak to me because I am not the contract holder but yet they can charge my account without my permission
