billed the wrong amount and damage to items
I was billed the wrong amount and once my pod was received there was water damage to my items and the items had to be thrown away do to not working or a horrible mold smell
Cannot talk with anyone to discuss billing business
I have called PODS timesEach time I have been on hold for over an hourI do not have this kind of timeI've just come out of the hospital and in excruciating painI've waited and waited and waitedNow I will wait for PODS to call mePlease tell them I get my tax check at the end of February abt days from nowI will pay my balance off and move my stuff into a permanent storage unit
Our moving experience with PODS has been the worst and we will never use them again nor refer them to friends/family From late arrival to double billing (only after hours of being on the phone and asking for an itemized billing picture long after our move - who has time to chase all this down when moving'), to telling us we would have to wait two weeks for pickup (they were extremely busy we were told) to spilling fuel line oil in our driveway on final pickup of their empty container and leaving it there for days because it was the 4th of July holiday weekend, to TOTAL lack of managerial responsibility, we now have an acid bleached/streaked driveway that we never gave them permission to treat They never told us what they were treating the spill with, nor what it would look like when they were done and after many calls, emails a FaceBook complaint and back and forth messages, we have yet to personally speak with a single manager It has been days An incident report was opene
Charging me as a "long distance" move as opposed to localThey moved my belongings further away because of security so I should not be charged
When I contracted with Pod it was for a local move as I sold my house in one town and moved to another nearby The original quote was to return to meAlso the monthly charge was $I received an email later stating they were moving my pod from *** Maine to *** Maine (further away from me) Now that I have purchased a house and want my pod delivered they are trying to charge me as a "long distance move"I am not moving out of state and had my pod been at the original place I still fall below their mile local move I have called every day and am on hold for so longI asked to have a supervisor call me back and they never didYesterday I called again, then I was able to speak to a supervisor She was very nice and saw the errorShe had emailed the *** facility and said she would email me back
Crippling wrongful bills - Dealing with their customer service team and billing department does not resolve the issue
In November my wife had ordered POD containers to move our family from Wisconsin to Oregon We paid $2,per container Upon arrival to Oregon we were able to consolidate PODS into When we returned the POD, instead of a pro-rated refund for the early return we were charged $(24JAN16) We called and were able to have the fee reversed after a lengthy conversation with their customer service and billing department but it did not go through until 04FEB
24FEBwe received a bill for $which is twice what we were supposed to be charged meaning that they were still charging us for the POD we had returned After calling to get this resolved, we promptly received a charge for $5, They had added new pods to our account This is a charge requiring a new contract for services that we never signed for or authorized

Was told refund would be processed back into within 3-business daysIt has officially be more than that allotted time
Had to have payment before service arrived, placed on my bank VISADay of delivery came and the driver refused to even place in my drive way, called and tried to have refund issueWas told that it would be refunded within business days.It has now been over the business daysCustomer service says that cannot do anything for meThis is a lot of money to be misplaced!
Great customer service provided by telephone
Billing doesn't reflect a payment made in December 2015, PODS changed their system and seem to have lost this payment
On 12/14/Deposit of $was paid, then on 1/24/$was paidInvoices are not reflecting the December payment due to a computer issue on PODS partThey changed systems and made a mess of billingI have tried many times to correct this issue, I have been left on hold over an hour many timesI have faxed PODS, I have had email correspondences, I am getting no where with themI do not want a blip on my credit report, as I am trying to have a home loan approvedI need help please
This co has the most abusive and misleading practices I have ever encountered in my lifeThe lie and cheat and steal and then hide like babies
I rented a POD storage unit a few years ago for what was supposed to be a temporary amount of time and now it has turned into a longer time due to unforeseen circumstancesWhen I rented the unit I specifically asked what happened if I fell behind in my rent because I had a very good friend lose abut 65K worth of office furniture for his storage unit going to auctionI was told that it takes or four months of non payment which made me feel better because I knew if I had an emergency I would be able to make it up the next month and my things would be fine8-months went by without incidentThen, at some point I owed or months of storage fees but I was always communicating with the company and made arrangements to pay which I have ALWAYS keptThey assigned my case to a person named Cary Gas an "account manager" (collection agent)
Multiple incorrect bills drafted from my account
PODS has repeatedly drafted from my account in excess of $to move my container even though I have specifically instructed them to hold the container at the origin facility until I was ready to move it
Call hold times are in excess of minutes every time I callThe last time I called I was on the phone for minof which was holding to speak to a representative, be put on hold again for another minutes
Beware of inept communication, scheduling issues, consistent issues with delivery of service Don't believe anything said by customer service
From our very first scheduling for pick-up, we had issues with PODs
Initial Deliver/Pickup issues: Not only were they going to drop off additional pods instead of picking up the ones we filled during our initial phase of the move, but it took multiple calls to stop that deliveryWe confirmed our pickup date and received a call the night before confirming the dropoff of two more pods It took multiple calls to get that 2nd delivery cancelled
We used two PODs and with EVERY interaction, regardless of us stressing we had two PODs, they only managed to put the work orders in for one Only after we waited to see if the order was updated correctly online could we see that it had to be fixed
Communication was inconsistent from one rep to the next It's as if they didn't have access to notes from previous calls, even though they tol
Delivery Issues
I set up my pod to be delivered on a certain dayPods does not give you the choice of when you want your furniture, that you are paying for deliveredFirst, they wanted to deliver it the container at nightWe already had the moving guys ready to for that dayThe next issue was, I specifically called and to let them know I wanted the doors of the pod turned facing the houseThe repwho handle the call made an error and placed the doors are to be facing the roadWhen calling them out on the issue, they made it seem as if it was my errorI then told them to play the recorded line back but of course that was not availableThen they wanted to charge me a replacing fee if they come out and move it againThis is totally unacceptable when they are the ones who made the mistake
Hi,I had the company drop off the pod and told them I needed it for a monthI am moving and need to be out by May At no time did they say to make a pick up appointment since they fill up fast.I call them May to have them pick up the pod to place it at my new house for May They said they didn't have any openings and that they could pick it up May and store it till June I was fine with that and got a confirmation saying they were going to pick it up on May On May they sent an email saying they couldn't and I need to have the pod of the property since it will not be inMyPossession

Over billing, unethical business practices, holding personal items hostage for more money, refusal to deliver and piwith in the commited time
We paid $dollars to sign up and scheduled the deliveryThey did not deliver the POD on time and we had to call and call to get them to talk to us and solve the issueThey then delivered it the following day and said they would refund the dollars which they did not doOnce we set the date for the delivery they purposely set the date to transport day after the monthly storage billing cycle so they could collect the full amount of the monthly storageThey took $after we had paid the initial $118.00, months of monthly rental at $per month, $for unknown past due amounts and then a final payment of $for the transporatation feeThey say we still owe an additional $for the one day over the billing cycle and they will not garauntee the delivery of the POD in writing yet they have taken all
not delivered to requested spot, charged to move, moved to inaccessible spot, not during scheduled time, rude service, and charged when inaccessible
Original drop-off not where requested, was put in area where house was being delivered He said he would come out and move it himself without charging me, but they refused when u called to move it
I paid for PODs to come out and move my pod across drivewayI needed door to open toward house or drivewayThis Attached email said they would be here between 2:& And I thought they would call me I was on norman dealing with taxes on property at 12:and the guy showed up at my house to move it
I have a serious problem with the delivery guy, and fees incurred wuth PODS and having to pay people to help transport and store things that should have been able to go into the POD on my propertyMy daughter and dad were here and he was very rude to both of them, telling my daughter that she needed to get out there & move her car
They are unorganized and employees are uninformed and unawareThey screwed up with my auto billing and now they want to charge me on move month
I have had my Pod for a little over a year nowI pay via automatic pay from the same card I pay all my billsIn December, Pods sent me an email saying they accidentally double billed some customers, so they were giving everyone a refund and then re-billing Everyone's accountNow on May 4th, I recieve a email from a Kathe Ctelling me my card was declined, so immediatley I call POD, thinking it was a mistakeJust for some woman to tell me my card had been declined for the last months, the last payment they recieved was in DecemberMy first question to her was, "Why was I not informed?"Then she began to tell me, they got new systems in January and "the accountant team hasn't been very aggressive with people not paying the bill!" See here is the thing, I called PODs two weeks prior to this issue and was speaking with a gentleman,
I am a veteran who recently needed the assistance of an organization called Supportive Services for Veterans with Families (SSVF)because my family and I were homelessOne of the services they provide is paying for storage during our stay at a local hotel while we looked for an apartmentIn order to rent a POD, a credit card is required as collateralSince we don't have a credit card, we asked my father if we could use his for the collateral only! This order was taken by an employee named *** during a three way, recorded call between my father, *** *** (SSVF rep), and the PODS employee, *** Mr*** stated unequivocally that he would pay for the storageIn my subsequent conversations with him he stated that he had paid the storage feesOn Feb16,I received a call from my father stating that my wife *** had authorized the use of his credit card to pay for the storage This angered him and caused him to believe that my wife had perpetrated a fraudHe st
I started what has been a long and infuriating relationship with PODS in July of I was shopping around for my upcoming move from southern California to northwest WashingtonIn my initial conversation with an employee at PODS, I asked if it was possible to have them dropped off at my location to be loaded over a period of two weeks, picked up when scheduled, moved to Washington, and then stored locally until my family found a permanent place to liveHe confirmed that this was possibleI scheduled the drop off of two PODS, but planned to call back on the exact pickup dateI called PODS early in August to schedule the piof my loaded PODSWhen I called, I confirmed that my two PODS were going to be transported to Washington and then storedThe PODS employee confirmed that this would happen
My family and I moved to Washington later in August and began our home searchOur house was scheduled to close in early October, so I called a few days before to schedule the deliv
Our experience with PODS was EXCELLENT! The Sales, Customer Service people and Drivers were professional, knowledgeable and FRIENDLY!!! All genuinely seemed to LOVE their company!!
All of our items arrived in perfect condition...Moving by PODS offered us the flexibility to have our household goods stored because we did NOT have an actual firm move in date HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
We were treated very poorly and repeatedly told misleading and incorrect information about the services we paid for and would receive
The first misinformation we got from PODS happened we called to scheduled the drop off, and they told us that for an extra $we could schedule a guaranteed drop of in the morningBut when my husband called back to reserve the morning drop off, he was told by a different CS person that it was no longer possible to doWe were very concerned about the delivery of the POD, because our new inner city neighborhood had a high crime rating on Trulia and folks I'd talked to said they'd heard of people's belongings being stolen out of moving trucks and PODS there in the pastSo it was absolutely non-negotiable that we move our stuff out the same day that the POD was deliveredThe day before our move, we were given a delivery window for the POD, from 11-2pmWe asked (pleaded!) with the person on the phone to make a request for a delivery as early as possi
