This is the WORSE experience I have EVER had! This location NEVER has my container out when I arrive
This is the WORSE experience I have EVER had! This location NEVER has my container out when I schedule access! Their customer service can never get in touch with them when there is an issueI have been here 5x and each time my container is not here the last time my container was moved to NJ without my knowledge and the supervisor was notified and made no attempt to call me to let me knowCustomer service is a joke, I've put in complaints each time being told someone would call me and guess what no one called meOne of the reps accidentally made my order a long distance order and they charged my account $and refused to give me access until I paid it! It was allegedly resolved in May although no one called me back and now here we are again and the issue was not resolved I was issued a bill for $939!

This started when I rented a portable storage container Apollo Beach FL, packed it, had PODs ship it to CaliforniaPODs notified me that the container was delivered to the Santa Maria, California PODs location April 7thOn April 7th, I had a mover remove all items from the POD container site in Santa Maria
While the container had my items in it, I was billed $49.95/month for insuranceI had my items in the container for the month of March, and partial month of April - until the container was vacated April 7th
Many months passedI was reviewing my American Express credit card statement in November and realized I had continued to be billed $49.95/month f

Late on pickup of loaded POD, delivery and final pickup as wellRude customer resolution team, damaged our fence and did not give refund as promised
We were alerted that due to an employee calling out sick, they would not be picking up our POD as scheduled on August This then caused an additional day delay in deliveryAs I tried calling regularly to get an ETA on delivery at our new home, I was eventually directed to the customer resolution teamThe assigned agent was rude, not helpful and simply said we were at their mercy and had no recourse to complain
As this was not satisfactory, I called the main line and asked to speak to a manager/supervisor of the resolution teamAfter speaking with this new agent, we came to an agreement and she assured me all would be resolvedWe were promised a $refund and alerted to watch for it to hit our account on fileToday the refund occurred, but only for $

My boyfriend and I used pods for the past yearWe had our stuff stored in their facility which was great being inside and climate controlledWhen they first tried to deliver the pods there were wires in the way so they couldn't leave it at the house (it was winter and we cannot park in the street we have to park in the driveway , we cleared feet of snow out of the backyard for the pods and they couldn't, or wouldn't, bring it back there) So we have to rent a uhaul truck and make trips to the pod, we couldnt pack slowly and organize itThat was annoying because not only did we still have to pay the full delivery fee we also had to pay for a truck and gasI still think the lines were high enough to get the pod in but oh well that was over a year agoWe finally got a house and wanted to get our stuff out of storageWell I asked them to deliver the pod to the back of the driveway by the garage ( they have a picture to select as to where you want it placed) and the genius driver put it at the front of the driveway! so no only did we have to take a nice walk to the garage we also couldnt pull our cars in the driveway to unload other stuff that wasnt in the podI called after it was empty to see if they by chance had a minute to come pick it up that dayI knew they'd be busy since it was a saturday morning when I calledThe guy I talked to, Denny I think his name was, was completely uselessI asked about them picking it up that day and how it was put in the wrong spot and we couldn't use the drivewayHe said they were all full so I complained more about it and there was silence on his endNot even a sorry miss but they're booked solid or anythingJust silenceThat made me even angrier so I hung upIf it was where I asked it to be then there wouldn't have been a problem but the driver I had obviously has no clue how to read a picture!!! For the money they make on these things you would think they would be more helpfulI would never ever use them againThey're way over priced and uselessThey also charged my bank account without my knowledgeI wasn't able to change my card info on their site (something else that doesn't work well all the time) so I sent a check, the next month they automatically charged me!!! I did not give them any right to do that! Nor do they have the right to do thatThey never once automatically charged my card without my knowledgeWhy should this be any different! Absolutely ridiculous

Our experience with PODS was EXCELLENT! The Sales, Customer Service people and Drivers were professional, knowledgeable and FRIENDLY!!! All genuinely seemed to LOVE their company!!
All of our items arrived in perfect condition...Moving by PODS offered us the flexibility to have our household goods stored because we did NOT have an actual firm move in date HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I started what has been a long and infuriating relationship with PODS in July of I was shopping around for my upcoming move from southern California to northwest WashingtonIn my initial conversation with an employee at PODS, I asked if it was possible to have them dropped off at my location to be loaded over a period of two weeks, picked up when scheduled, moved to Washington, and then stored locally until my family found a permanent place to liveHe confirmed that this was possibleI scheduled the drop off of two PODS, but planned to call back on the exact pickup dateI called PODS early in August to schedule the piof my loaded PODSWhen I called, I confirmed that my two PODS were going to be transported to Washington and then storedThe PODS employee confirmed that this would happen

24FEBwe received a bill for $which is twice what we were supposed to be charged meaning that they were still charging us for the POD we had returned After calling to get this resolved, we promptly received a charge for $5, They had added new pods to our account This is a charge requiring a new contract for services that we never signed for or authorized

From our very first scheduling for pick-up, we had issues with PODs
Initial Deliver/Pickup issues: Not only were they going to drop off additional pods instead of picking up the ones we filled during our initial phase of the move, but it took multiple calls to stop that deliveryWe confirmed our pickup date and received a call the night before confirming the dropoff of two more pods It took multiple calls to get that 2nd delivery cancelled
We used two PODs and with EVERY interaction, regardless of us stressing we had two PODs, they only managed to put the work orders in for one Only after we waited to see if the order was updated correctly online could we see that it had to be fixed
Communication was inconsistent from one rep to the next It's as if they didn't have access to notes from previous calls, even though they tol

PODS also claims to be "Trustworthy," but if the company can not uphold it's contracted service dates, then it can not be trusted
Again, one of their main advertising points is that things are done according to the customer's schedule"With PODS, you have control of your belongings and the whole processEverything is done on your schedule." This is not true
