Failure to deliver container in the timely fashion
First of all this is worst moving company I have ever worked withInitially they were very nice saying that they will accommodate all our needs making moving experience easyAll they wanted was my credit card number that they charged two weeks before serviceI have agreed to pay dollars which super expensive for just moving the box from *** I explained that I need the container to be delivered on Sep the 1stThe scheduled pick up of the container was Aug 24thI told them I need this to be picked up the lastest possible because I am working full timeThey did not care and scheduled pick up between X:XX-X:XXThe driver called me around 1PM if he can come now to pick up the containerHe asked if I need more time he can come laterI said sure, if can give me min everything will be readyI called him min later to confirm, he did not pick upI called him times until PM, he never picked upI called

Required additional payment before they would honor dates agreed upon on the original contract
I had contacted PODS to arrange for one of their moving containers as I was moving from Washington to ArizonaVery specific dates for the delivery and pick up of the empty in Arizona were requested and the items loaded into the PODS were based on those dates being metThe loaded container was to be delivered on March 26th and empty picked up on March 28thThe PODS was not delivered on the 26th nor was I even contacted by PODS letting me know of a delayI had to call themPODS was able to get it delivered to me on the next day, the 27thI advised them that the empty container would need to be picked up no later than March 30th as we have HOA rules regarding items in driveways and parking on the streetPODS totally disregarded this requirement and set up the empty pick up date for April 5thWhen I called them to let them know the empty was ready for pickup, that was when they advised

Incorrect Billing, Overcharged, Poor Customer Service, Can not get anyone to help fix my account

POD delivery is a no-show
I ordered a POD on line I received an email and phone message that the POD would be delivered between 8:30-11:AM on 8/17/ I began calling the POD call center at 12: The Call Center people called the local dispatch but no-one picked up the phone They also sent the dispatch emails that I'm aware of It's now 6:PM The floor guys will be here to install new floors and I'm without a container to put my furniture in Additionally, I requested a Corporate phone number The call center doesn't have one, nor is there one listed on their web page If a business isn't dependable or reachable, I have no recourse but to file a complaint with the Revdex.com

PODS charged me $even though they confirmed I would not be charged for an additional month of rent
I called PODS on 9-9-to ask about a pending charge of $dated 9-8- The CS rep told me that the charge was for a month's rent beginning on 9-9-I was informed that I would not be charged if the pod was picked up within the day grace period which ended on 9-13- I asked to have the pod pod picked up on the 13th, but the CS rep said the soonest available pickup date was the 15th He also told me that because the date I had requested was not available, that I would not be charged the additional month rent I later found out that PODS had charged me anyway

Double billing
PODS double billed me and apparently a number of their customers last month and when I attempted to call to correct it, their customer service was so inadequate, I was on hold two separate occasions for over an hour to try and rectify the situationThis is over $they illegally removed from my accountIt took over a week to be refunded with zero apologies, call backs, or any kind of compensation from them

Withdrawing funds from my account without my authorization or consent
PODS placed my account on auto pay without my consent and withdrew funds from my account without my permissionI never stored my account information online and I never authorized a PODS representative to store it The 1st incident they withdrew funds without my consent twice in errorI was refunded and asked PODS not to store my banking information and do not auto pay my account The incident occurred again in March and April I did not sign up for auto pay and they have withdrawn funds from my account again without my consent and placed me back on auto pay

PODS is charging me for a long distance out of state move that never happened and insurance fees I did not wantWhen I originally contacted them to bring storage units to my property in Florida they asked the final destination for the PODSAlthough I was unsure at the time whether I was moving in state or out of state, and told them that,they insisted they had to have this for the contractSo I gave them the out of state destinationThe PODS were delivered and sat on my FL property for about monthsDuring that time I notified PODS MULTIPLE times that I was moving to a destination about miles away from the original PODS delivery site in Florida and NOT to TennesseeI asked them to adjust my bill accordingly aND not charge me for insuranceThey agreed, but did not adust my billThey relocated the POD storage units miles away from the original drop site in FloridaThey have continued to bill me for the trip to Tennessee and for unwanted insurance despite numerous pho

We recently purchased a home in South *** *** The previous owner had a pods container on the property which was picked up the day after we closed When the driver picked up the pod, he backed into the electrical wires running from our house to the utility poleHe pulled the wires to the point of breaking the pole that held the wires in place, resulting in the electrical wires hanging only a couple of feet from the ground The former owner was notified that the driver had cut the wires and stretch them but had no idea the extent of the damage, until he return to the property the next day We took pictures of the damage and called the electric company which told us we needed to contact an electrician get this fixed immediately as it was a dangerous situation It cost just over $to make the necessary repairsThe former owner and myself have both contacted Nathan E the customer advocate for the company and were told that they assume no responsibility for this dama

PODS ETA POLICY
I had a POD filled on February I scheduled for the filled POD to be delivered to me on June 2, PODS gave me an ETA of between 7-AM This also came in email and phone message form
Movers were hired to fill and were hired to empty my POD
Because of the ETA that I was given, I scheduled the movers for Noon
PODS did not deliver my POD until after 4pm on June This caused a financial hardship for me because I was responsible to pay additional fees as a result of the time change
I was not notified by PODS of the change and had no time to reschedule to moving crew
The "ETA" that PODS gives is also their defense, which doesn't help or protect the customer in ANY way It is customary to give ETA's Utility companies, etc do it all the time, however an ETA is a solid commitment of an AGREED upon time

I would not recommend PODS to anyone! They falsely claim that you only need to schedule container pickups and drop-offs days in advance I tried to schedule container pickup days in advance, but was told the soonest they could pick up was days later, which last time I checked was a lot longer than their recommended days I let them know that I was closing on my house on the 23rd day, so my POD would be left in the new homeowners driveway for weeks, but they didn't care Their solution was to hope someone cancels their pick up and then they might squeeze me in I have made several calls to customer service and the reply I've gotten was "We will send an email to the local manager, add a note to the account, and hopefully someone will cancel that week." I have been told that our area (Minneapolis) is very busy and has a large backorder, so I asked what PODS was doing to resolve there backlog issue Seems like a well run c

Miss Delivery by Pods
Pods said that my second Pod, number *** would be delivered on Aug29th knowing that the first Pod in the driveway needed to be removed before the second could be placed Pods tried to deliver the second Pod without removing the first and as such told me that they could not deliverI have paid pods for this second pod and have not had it delivered as promised I contacted Pods and spoke to a manager that said I was on the scheduled for the next window on August 31st and that they would try to deliver on Aug 30th if they could fit me in As of August 31st I am not on the schedule and Pods is saying they cannot get me on the schedule till Sept 7th This is unacceptable and Pods is doing nothing to resolve this issue and get me my Pod

Pod was not delivered on time
The location of my pod said my original state for weeks before the delivery dateWhen I called the customer service rep to verify that it is in the correct city and would be delivered tomorrow, she said yesLiterally TWO MINUTES later I get a call from a different rep that said the exact oppositeMy pod was delayed by a week because of a "breakdown", except the incident happened the day before my delivery in a city that is a day's drive awayThey shipped my pod late and refused to admit itNow my delivery date is the day of my monthly rental renewalSo I will be charged for another month of having the pod despite it being their mistake--unless of course I get it back within the five day grace period says the customer service rep who refused to connect me to her managerThe 5th day is a day before a holidayIt's going to be extremely hard to time all of this
