I called this business one time for advice and have been billed three times for this one service call. They claim that I joined as a member when I believed I was getting advice for one problem one time with no plan to become a member. They refuse to refund the last two billings totaling $59.00 unearned.

Firstly, I am sorry for any problems you have experienced with our site.

After checking your account, I can see that you signed up for the discounted $1 question with the 7 day free trial membership. As with any membership or subscription trial, if you do not cancel before the end of the trial, you will automatically be charged for your first month to avoid any disruption in service. Additionally, we send out emails welcoming you to the membership and an email is sent before your trial is ending.

Per our terms of service that you agreed to when you enrolled in the membership, the membership payment is not eligible for a refund as stated in section 10, subheading "Refunds, Cancellations, Abuse and Special Programs" as follows;

Although your payment is not eligible for a refund under our terms of service, as a courtesy to you we have refunded the membership payments ($29 x 2) for you. The funds are made available to your bank the next business day, however, the bank may take 3-5 business days to release the funds back to your account depending on their policy.

Although I didn’t receive the help I needed my question was handled very promptly, with concern, respect and professionalism.....I will use them again in the future....

mechanic diagnose was correct and problem solved. So happy to get it I ordered parts right away.

it was very good , your answers help me to think and your advice was correct .

First response took some time and I had to call to get a response but *** o was very helpful and responded very quickly to my questions. He knew his area very well and had answers. He has his own practice, so it’s clear he wasn’t using the web to provide answers, and is actually an expert in the legal field. I can see the first answer guarantee within the first 30min can be misleading, or the recurring bill. I imagine it can be hit or miss depending on who you get.

I have had some legal questions, and needed prompt answers! Your service gave me my answers.

I needed an answer quickly from a real estate lawyer familiar with litigation in order to make a decision regarding my pending first buy. I found justanswer.com rather easily. They advertised one question answered in a short period of time for $5. In haste, I went through the process and checked out so I could get my answer. I was very satisfied with the service actually. I answered all the emails asking for surveys. I filled out a 5 star review. And now two weeks later I notice *** charge on my account from them. Naturally, I called them to inquire and I'm told that the terms of service stated that I was starting a trial membership and that I needed to cancel before the trial ended in order to avoid joining as a member. I admit , I did not read through this as I needed quick service which was very clearly advertised. I don't think you should expect a customer to read through a contract that could take upwards of a half hour before submitting so they could get their "fast" service. On the phone, they even stated that they sent emails during the trial reminding me about the pending charge. This is not true and I can verify that. The emails I did receive were welcome emails, and emails encouraging me to join the membership. One of them was titled "unlock your benefits". I did not open these emails and just passed by them while checking my inbox as they did not indicate that *** charge was coming my way and that I was joining a monthly membership. The customer service representative that I spoke with were very well trained on how to respond to customers like myself inquiring about the $55 charge. This indicates that they are willingly running an unfair business where they try to trick the customer. Shame on me for not having my guard up and reading the terms. I have not used any further service from them beyond the original 5 dollar question so I fully expect a "sorry for the confusion, here's your refund", not a "gotcha!". So far, I will not be receiving my refund. It's a shame because the product is excellent if it actually stays at 5 dollars per question.

Regarding the cost of questions. The $5 question is part of a special. Most questions cost $15 and up depending on the category. With the membership you are able to ask questions in over 100 categories. You can turn the membership off when you are not using it and back on when you need it. The best part is that all of our Experts must be licensed in their fields before being allowed to answer questions on the site.

Just Answer is great and the technician that assisted me was excellent! I have a Vizio 4k smart TV and had been watching something on Netflix when all of a sudden the TV just turned off. After turning it back on there was no network connection. After trying to fix it on my own with no success I turned to JustAnswer. I would say that within 15 minutes the problem was fixed. I will definitely recommend them after this!

I had very time sensitive civil case with my landlord for an Unlawful detainer hearing were I was screwed over because I lost my paperwork on a transit service, and couldn't show proof of the facts I was using to defend myself in this case, so I was forced to move out on a technicality. Received fast and thorough answer when I was concerned about my 5 year old dog's pacing and restlessness. Basically, though, the only positive answer I could get was to take her to the vet. While it is a comfort right then, and could potentially save a pet's life, there's no way a vet can answer a question with absolute certainty without seeing and examining your pet. However, I am a member because I do want to have somewhere to turn in emergencies. with situations that arise after hours. The vet was prompt and knowledgeable and I would recommend this service.

I found this service by entering "Best Real Estate Lawyers in Colorado" into the search engine. For the $5 trial fee, I feel that I got some sound legal advice and have a great direction to go in my current problems with the Homeowners Association where we live. It only took a matter of minutes to explain, in lay terms, what the Association is in violation of, as well as some nuisance neighbors that we have. He also explained that the owners are in the same violation of the bylaws, and subject to a suit as well. I now have a positive direction to go, and feel that I occupy the high ground both morally and legally in this ongoing fight. Best $5 I've ever spent!

Love this service! My 8 week pregnant chiweenie broke out in terrible hives late at night and they directed me in how to care for very quickly and followed up. They also did not mind answering a secondary question about doggy labor for me. Extremely friendly and very helpful. They can't fully replace your vet but can for sure help save some bucks on those emergency vet bills and long nights worrying is my furry companions are ok till the morning. Thank you just answer.
