The lawyer was very experienced and with fast and accurate response.

We’ve all had unfortunate situations where we have felt no one would help. I lucked up on Just Answers and the individuals name with Maverick. Maverick was very professional and caring and kind and helpful. The information he gave me relative to my individual situation was God sent. Even if I’m not successful in my endeavor I couldn’t be more satisfied with Mavericks willingness to help. You don’t fine people like him every day. Especially when he has no idea of who I am nor I who he is. Thanks so much Maverick for your help May God shine his light on you every day.

My lawyer was very knowledgeable on Business taxes and general info. Pointed me in the right direction for handling my business. Props!

Very fast turn around and answers by well versed professionals. More than one expert replied very quickly and tbd information provided was very thorough.

I've used JustAnswer twice for computer problems. I received helpful advice from knowledgeable programmers both times.
I plan to continue with the service and use it for other types of problems as well.

I used the service of Just Answers for the initial $5 charge but never signed up for a permanent membership. One month later I received a $66 charge on my credit card. When I called Just Answers to ask why there was a charge I was told that they could not verify my account as my email address did not correspond to my credit card information. I was then told the only way to verify my account was to have a conference call with my bank and just answers. Obviously no bank is going to share my information via a conference call with anyone so I contacted my credit card provider and had to have my card terminated and a new card issued. I would strongly recommend to never deal with this company.

Hello,

My name is Chase and I am with the customer care team at JustAnswer. I received a copy of your complaint filed through the Revdex.com and I’d like to help with your concerns.

Firstly, I am sorry for any problems you have experienced with our site.

After checking your account, I can see that you signed up for the discounted $5 question with the 7 day free trial membership. As with any membership or subscription trial, if you do not cancel before the end of the trial, you will automatically be charged for your first month to avoid any disruption in service. Additionally, we send out emails welcoming you to the membership and an email is sent before your trial is ending.

Per our terms of service that you agreed to when you enrolled in the membership, the membership payment is not eligible for a refund as stated in section 10, subheading "Refunds, Cancellations, Abuse and Special Programs" as follows;

***

Although your payment is not eligible for a refund under our terms of service, as a courtesy to you we have refunded the membership payments for you. The funds are made available to your bank the next business day, however, the bank may take 3-5 business days to release the funds back to your account depending on their policy.

I looked online at the Hewlett Packard website for help with my HP printer because it reported a cartridge error. I thought I was contacting HP for help. I paid $1 for the help and the person that I chatted with gave me instructions on what to do. I followed the instructions and the printer printed fine. It seemed to have fixed the problem. The next day I got the same error and I couldn't fix it. Someone from Just Answer emailed to see if I was happy with the results. I tried responding to the email I received, but it wasn't an active email address.
I did not know I was interacting with a business called JustAnswer***. I thought I was chatting with a tech employee of HP. I never would have contacted the business JustAnswer*** because my printer was under warranty. I knew that I could return the printer for a new one, therefore; I would not have paid to seek help from another business.
Then came the $46 charge for the membership. I did not sign up for a membership, and though I received another email from Just Answer which I didn't read because I thought it was spam. Then I received an email from *** which I did not read because I thought it was spam also
Our internet has been out quite a bit, but today it's running so I started balancing my checkbook for August and that's when I saw the charge for $46, so I called them right away. I explained that I didn't know I was chatting with a business outside of HP. and I asked for a refund. They refused and gave me excuses. They can see that I only asked the one questions and I have been on the site nor did I sign into the membership. I feel like I was tricked into the membership and that they should refund me the $46 for the sake of good customer service if nothing else.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Sincerely

The mechanic was vwey good. I could not find the crankshaft position sensor on my 2002 Dodge 3.9L engine and after a couple of exchanges he not only sent me a verbal description of where to find but also sent me a diagram showing it's location. The next time I have a problem with my car I will not hesitate to use the service of JustAnswers again!

Amazing! I couldn't believe the amount of care and consideration given to all of my questions. Very much impressed and would recommend to friends and family! Thank you so much 'Just Answer'! We need this type of forum!

My online lawyer was wonderful. He stayed with me and answered every question and concern I had. He was prompt, kind, informative and I would recommend *** to anyone needing legal help.

Good service, keep it up. My problem was resolved. Knowledgeable mechanic.

My experience with Just answer was incredible. I had hit a roadblock after searching for two years for a lost relative and the researcher found them in less than an hour.

The service responded Quickly. The specialist was friendly, and his answers were succinct and helpful.

The vet responded to my question and concern of my companion donkey *** showing signs of acute left fore leg lameness and pain. I treated her with bute and stalled her in heavy shavings until seen by an equine vet the following day. I was happy with the response and recommendations. It turned out to be an abscess of the left hoof. Best case scenario versus a fracture or broken bone in the leg. Appreciate the assistance.

My husband went to a TV manufacturer's website to ask a question about our TV. He asked a question, thinking that he was still at that site, but had been transferred to JustAsk. We've been charged twice ($46 X 2) for a membership that he neither requested nor wanted. I tried calling them and was informed that we would not get a refund because he didn't cancel a membership that he didn't know he had.
I realize that they may legally have their behinds covered. Considering how many similar complaints have been registered online, it's hard to believe that the deceptive practices aren't part of their business plan.

I used this company to resolve an issue after paying $5.00 for a trial membership and $39.00 for a premium upgrade. I was subsequently charged a second time for the $39.00. when I called about this I called and was informed that it would be refunded. I then asked that my membership be cancelled. Two days later I was then charged another $46.00 for my next months membership. When I called asking this money be refunded I was told that the agent I spoke to regarding my cancellation request had made no notations of my request therefore my membership had not been cancelled and I was then liable for the $46.00 because my membership cancellation request was one day late which obligated me for a months charges and no refund would be given. There just answer corporate website States that if a customer is not totally satisfied a 100 percent refund would be issued " no questions asked ". I called customer care again today and was informed that I was not entitled to a refund and none would be issued. This is in violation of there corporate guarantee and I feel this is unscrupulous business practices.

I used JustAnswer to ask a medical question. I paid $5 for a trial. My question was answered and I never used the service again. I have been charged twice, $46.00 each time, for a monthly membership. It was not clear that I would be automatically be charged a membership fee and that I needed to take action. I contacted their customer service and asked for my account to be canceled and a refund since I had not used the service since my initial question which I paid for. I was told they were unable to issue refunds, but would be happy to cancel my membership. Not exactly helpful.

I Use Just Answer for getting information on stuff that I find and want to find out more information about and the value. They do a great job.

This Business is such a scam - They ask you to pay $5 up front to talk to one of their technicians (Dishwasher technician, to be exact) and before they address your issue, they suggest that it is better if one subscribe for their service since they feel it is easier to communicate with their technician so as to fix the issue quickly - They also claim that the membership can be cancelled within 30 days and they'd remind with an email before the end of 30 days - they're going under the assumption that you wouldn't call them if they don't cancel as you may not notice it - this happened to me, with- no email from them reminding me to cancel, they subsequently hammered my bank account for $28 - Lesson learnt: Please cancel your membership within the time limit or else this company will not only not send you a reminder with an email and option to cancel membership and also hammer your bank account you set with them and and will never refund what they've withdrawn from your account. I'd stay away from their service altogether.
Thanks for reading
