This site justanswe*** tricks people into membership. I paid $5.00 for an answer about my dog. I thought that was the end of it. I was charged 29.95 for a membership I did not want nor did l know that it would be charged. Then I had to call just answer and they refused to refund my money. They should state very clearly in big bold type that they will be charging people for membership. They need to stop the baiting then charging. Hateful company.

The membership charge amount and information is presented to all customers on the payment page prior to entering any billing information. After the question is posted and the membership is agreed to, we send a receipt E-mail, as well as a payment reminder E-mail, 3-days prior to any recurring billing.
In looking into your account, we can see that a Customer Support agent did process a refund for the membership charge.

Signed up for their special $5.00 offer for a furnace help question. Waited for an hour, and answer was worthless. Since that time 2 weeks ago, this company has tried unsuccessfully twice to charge my credit card each time for a $28.00 membership fee. My bank thankfully denied them each time. I contacted "Just Answer" and was told I agreed to the fine print, This company is nothing but a HUGE SCAM. Do NOT USE THEM!

First of all, I didn't even know I signed up for a membership to this bogus business. Secondly, the day that I got billed for $46 in July on my Bankamericard, I cancelled my so-called membership. That was July, 2019. Now, I find that they have billed me again for the same amount in August. It's on my credit card, and I can't "stop payment."

Justanswer.*** was utilized for what was ***municated as a one-time purchase. Instead I was automatically subscribed to a service I never wanted. While the details of this fraudulent subscription are given in the fine print of the terms of service for a trial (that justanswer claims I signed up for), no ***munication was made to indicate I would be enrolled in a monthly subscription.
According to their customer service representatives, email reminder ***munications are sent prior to charges. I received no such ***munications. And their customer service representatives will take no responsibility for the failed reminder email ***munication and will not refund months of charges. Just Answer will gladly continually charge you for an fraudulent subscription that is never used though.
I highly re***mend using local shops that actually give you a service for your money. Avoid justanswer.***! Do not fall victim to this scam as I did.

JustAnswer gave me a 2 days notice that they would be billing my credit card for $40.00. I had repeatedly asked them before this to CANCEL my account and refund the $1.00 introductory amount because they never helped me with an answered that worked. I asked my bank to freeze my credit card just in time because I suspected they would try this after getting the run-around. A reputable business does not charge you for services you never agreed to. They did not help me with my preliminary question. The Revdex.com requires a star rating so I clicked one star, but in my opinion they deserve -10 stars.

This is a scam. They let you ask a question for $1.00 then enroll you as a member and charge a fee and will not let you cancel.

I seem to have become a member of Justanswer although I had no intentions of doing that. Justanswer has been taking membership dues out of my Discover credit card account for several months now. I called their membership phone line and ask to be removed from membership. They told me they would due that; that my membership would end on August 10, 2019, but my latest Discover card statement indicates they continue to bill me. I want this stopped.

I sent my credit card number & all required information for a free trial subscription for a month for 1$. I asked two questions of two different professionals. I was able to log into the site to retrieve the first response. When I tried to log into the site to see if my second question had been answered, and also to rate the answer to the first question (as requested in the answer I received), I was no longer able to get to a web page belonging to JustAnswer that contained a place for me to log in anywhere. I kept being prompted by the chat dialogue box to open another account for 1$, then for 5$, then the last dialogue box I had going froze, my computer seized up requiring two days of lengthy talks with computer specialists, and when I finally just did another search for JustAnswer, what comes up on my screen when I select JustAnswer's website is the last full (but not sent, and not responded to) dialogue I had there - fully visible to anyone else in my home who uses this computer. I want that screen unlocked and removed from the page that comes up on this computer, and I want a sign in page when I go into JustAnswer from a search engine so that I can cancel the trial subscription.

Additionally, you mentioned that you spoke to two people, but I only saw one question. I did some searching and found a guest account registered to you as well. I've merged the two accounts and refunded the second charge. You can now log into your account using your email address *** and password. If you cannot remember your password you can contact us and we can set a temporary password that you can change once you are logged in. When you are done asking questions or looking at your already a sked questions, you can log out of your account. Just be sure to log in before asking more questions. This is a HUGE SCAM. No one I spoke to has any idea of help to fix the technical problem. They purely want me to pay for services and go on a membership without any professional technical capability. This is the biggest scam I have experienced this year.

JustAnswer has always been a paid service, there are a lot of free sources of information on the internet, however, in exchange for free service you're often required to submit to a lot of advertising or give up a lot of personal data, neither of which are requirements for using our service.
It seems that the technicians were trying to offer a remote connection to your computer to resolve the technical issue that you were having. This is by no means obligatory, but often does allow the problem to be resolved faster. If you'd like, you can continue to talk through the troubleshooting process through the online chat.
We can confirm that your account was deactivated and that you will see no billing.

Not worth one star... I asked a question about ancestry visa, and got an answer about child abduction (Hague Convention). She didn't even know what it was. Then she took the high road, like she's an experienced immigration consultant and I'm just insulting. But she was so condescending covering her ignorance w snotty 'please clarify' blablabla. I think I was extremely restrained. They sure better not be trying to get the monthly subscription after I cancelled my $7 trial. I told her they should be paying me. She try to act all high and mighty and self righteous. Probably googling some rubbish while i'm waiting waiting... and sent me about 6 texts asking me to take an expensive phone call. I told her I could handle ignorant answers just as well on chat as on the phone. It was a serious and sensitive issue and I hate to raise it with some stranger. So it was a really bad experience.

When I purchased their service for having a professional answer my question, they were quick to reply and very helpful. The professional's answer solved my problem quickly. The problem was that somewhere in the process, a "free seven day trial" was agreed upon by using the service that I was not aware of. After the seven days, my credit card was charged $34 for some subscription. I called to complain about this and they told me they would cancel the subscription ,but, they could not refund the $34 charged to my card. I realize that whatever I missed was probably buried pretty deep in some fine print, but, I expected a refund for the confusion and that did not happen.

I was not sure of what to expect but needed an expert opinion on an issue with a HOA.
