Surprisingly quick & very helpful assistance. Tim was responding to my basic question within minutes! We chatted by phone to clarify things, and he then got back to me using the app. My clarifying responses were difficult to input on my cell phone. Screen components where in the way of seeing Tim's responses. Overall, I'm very pleased.

After different interpretations of my requirement, was finally able source the right
product locally. It 's not compatible to Karcher (house hold water pressure is okay)
but could I suspect it could be mechanically adapted

I was a member of Just Answer and didn't realize they had been charging me. I asked them to cancel the account so that it would stop charging me a monthly fee. They claim they sent me an email 3 days before the monthly charge I never got the email. I checked my account today and saw they had charged me. I cancelled the account and would expect a honest business to refund the money they didn't. I've had conversations with them so now I am coming to you for help. If I can past the email conversation I've had with them I think t would help.

I needed veterinary advice on a Sunday. I received useful information and was able to get my cat to an emergency clinic. Grateful!

I love this site!! Every time that I have had to deal with a law matter they were there to answer whatever I needed to know. They were respectful and I felt they really cared about me as a client.
Even each time when I've cancelled after I was finished with a matter, I was able to cancel my free trial without any problems. I don't need to keep a subscription to them as I don't always need help n things but when I do they are always there to help!! Thank you Just Answer and your professional staff for doing such a good job!!

I was happy with the service. Yes I contacted someone and explained my problem. Told there would be a wait. So what. Many people want answers to their problems right away. Won't happen. an atty called me back. I was the object (am a woman) of someone who hacked a very famous person's ID and attempted to "woo me" over a 3 week period. Then I realized, hey,, this has to be a scam perpetrated by someone other than whom I thought it was.
When the atty called me I explained everything to him. And I got the answers and was told what to do. So, big deal, I was inconvenienced for a short time as I am sure Just Answer gets several hundred calls or emails every 5 minutes. My reputation was as stake so were all of everything else involved in a SCAM....

I had requested information and value on a small figurine, and I received answers from two different appraisers; so I wrote a third one for another opinion, and they gave me the information I wanted. It turns out my item was not of great value, but it is so nice to know that you can ask one of these appraisers, and they will do their best to give you the answers you need. I used their services on a trial basis. They said I would get an email about my trial ending when it was up at which time I could cancel if I wanted. I never got the email. Today they took the money out of my account. I called them and they said they would cancel my account, but they would not refund my money. I later went back on the website, and they have a person who answers questions before they connect you with someone else. I wrote my problem with the trial offer and membership and the instant I pushed SEND, I got a response immediately. In the response, they said I could have a free week. I called back to ask about this, because this would then give me the chance to cancel. The guy told me again, that he could not refund my money, and that they use AI (Artificial Intelligence) on their website, and that's why they answered so quickly. I asked about my free week and he told me that since they use AI that was a glitch in their system. Now I am wondering if my answer last week was from a real Vet, or if it was AI!

You message your problem for help.. Which is a automated message “person” that send you another web so you can enter your personal information and pay $5. Looks super sketchy! Not giving out personal info!

If you did come to our site, it sounds like you may have clicked through an ad on another website. I used Just Answer, was nit satisfied and cancelled my membershio all in the same day..
I saw a charge for $46.00 from J7st Answer a week later, contacted Customer Service and nobody got back to me..The next day, go on a Chat conversation, inquired about the charge I did not authorize and got no response. Just now, am having issues trying to get on their website

All bots, no "experts" and you can't cancel that $1 that's "refundable"

This company is falsely advertising experts "online NOW" and "on call 24/7". And that your question will be answered within minutes. This is NOT true. They are engaging in FRAUDULENT practices and MISLEADING CONSUMERS.
I contacted what was claimed to be a "cat veterinarian" expert on this site.The answer I received from this person was satisfactory.. but..
When I attempted to ask a follow up question several days later..
The site stated that "cat veterinarians' were online NOW. After waiting over 2 hours (with an estimated wait time of 8 minutes) I began calling. First I was told that my question was "escalated" and I would receive a response shortly. After another hour and still no response, I called again. I was told the same thing. After another half hour (and still no response), I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor.
This supervisor, gave me the same run around as the first two customer service representatives, and tried to tell me all about how their "experts" are only part time employees and that they have no control over which questions they choose to answer.
Then, when pressed about why their site was claiming cat veterinarians online NOW, and specifically, the expert I had previously communicated with.. the supervisor informed me that the person in question was not only NOT ONLINE NOW AS CLAIMED, BUT ALSO NOT A CAT VETERINARIAN AS CLAIMED, AND ONLY A TECHNICIAN.
Everyone I spoke with at this company had a foreign accent and this gives me cause to believe that this company is foreign based and that their California address, which is a P.O. Box only, is just a front.
Again, they are making FALSE CLAIMS and advertising experts "online now" and on call "24/7". This is completely UNTRUE and I advise everyone to keep away from this company. THEY ARE MISLEADING YOU!
I have contacted an attorney regarding punitive action against them, will be filing a complaint against them with the Federal Trade Commission in the morning when they open.
BUYER BEWARE. THIS COMPANY IS MAKING FRAUDULENT CLAIMS AND ENGAGING IN DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES AND FAILURE TO DISCLOSE THAT THEIR SO-CALLED "EXPERTS" ARE NOT WHAT THEY CLAIM NOR AVAILABLE "NOW" AS THEY CLAIM AND ADVERTISE!!!

The Expert that you spoke with was indeed a licensed Veterinarian and has bene in private practice for over 15 years. We will reach out to the Customer Care agent that you spoke with to make sure that they are communicating the correct information to all customers.
The Experts that respond on the site are not employees, they are independent site users. The 8 minute expected wait time is an average and in many cases customers receive a response in less time. When question volume is high, Experts may be working with multiple customers at the same time and the wait time might be a little longer. If you're waiting to hear from a specific Expert, there may be an additional wait time as no Expert can be online 24 hours a day.

Just Answer is a company that is operating what would be described by most as a scam. I'm absolutely disgusted with this company and the way they operate and collect monies without authorisation.

Regarding my experience with Just Answer I decided to pay $5 to have one question answered, this was an offer on their website and I was fine with that. However, when I was checking my bank account and my bank balance I found Just Answer had charged me $5.00 which I expected, and then another $40 which I did not authorise and did not see on the Just Answer website when I agreed to the $5.00 for one question.

On top of the unexpected charge of $40.00, when I went to the website to investigate this company and to cancel my online account, I decided to use the Just Answer live chat. The customer service representative would not take no for an answer. I had to repeat at least 3 times "please cancel my account....." the customer service representative kept on trying to coerce me to retain my online account.

This company is not ethical - their morals are disgusting and I was met with a nasty surprise of an unauthorised charge of $40.

On 5/24/2019 I was on the Just answers website, asked a question and was told I needed to sign up for a free trial and had to put in my payment method for my free trial, immediately I was charged $26.00 for a free trial, I went on the site to cancel my membership but I was already charged $36.00 for a membership after I was charged $26.00 which I have no idea what that was for, if not the membership. I cancelled my membership, but on 7/1 I was charged $38.00 for a monthly membership. I contacted CS and they confirmed my membership was cancelled and refunded $38.00, no refund for $26.00 (which I still don't know what that was for if not the membership) and then, on 7/31 I was charged $38.00 for a monthly membership.

After checking your account, I can see that you posted two questions, however it looks like your questions were meant for another company.
When a customer posts a question on JustAnswer, they choose or are shown the full price they are willing to pay for a satisfactory answer. The charge for the question is at the top of the page where you input your payment information. If you have credit card shown, it shows the $5 deposit and the balance deposit when an Expert responds. I've provided a sample screenshot below of the question charge showing the full payment. You can test it out as well by going to our website and going through the first two steps of posting a question (you will not have to enter any payment information to see this).

After checking your account, I can see $22 was the total cost for your question and you posted the same question twice, which is why the double cost. Once the question is posted, an initial $5 deposit is made and when an Expert responds, the balance of the deposit is made, in this case the remaining balance was $17. While the deposit is transferred to your JustAnswer account when an Expert responds, it remains in your JustAnswer account until you rate your Expert positively.

We have a 100% customer satisfaction policy, if you do not get an answer or you do not get a satisfactory answer, you are entitled to a full refund.

Per your request, I can see we have closed your question pages and processed a refund of your deposits on the same day it was requested by you on 8/1/19. You would have seen the funds back in your account within 3-5 days, maybe sooner depending on your bank.
