Roy was very knowledgeable about my car A/C problem, but went beyond just answering my questions and gave me great advice on troubleshooting related A/C issues. It was a bit like going back to training. His advice saved me from a very expensive trip to the dealer.
My 11 week old puppy was throwing up and the Dr explained what could be happening and to give him chicken broth and his appetite returned later in day. I was relieved and comforted by the Dr’s Advice. I would use this service again!
Your technician assisted me with the information about my TV that I was looking for he answered all my questions gave me some ideas what I needed to check and things I could do to possibly fix it ask me for some pictures of what it was doing I sent them to him after I send them doing he gave me other suggestions of things that could be and things I could try and then told me if it was not the things that he told me that there was a good chance that it was not fixable within the price range of the TV and that I would probably need to buy a new one to me that is better information then if I took it to a shop to me that's telling me that your technician open the internet just better equipped to help me let me standing in front of a technician and paying him an arm and a leg probably a hundred $150 to tell me the exact same thing after he's had my TV 4 month and a half and told me oh we can't fix it because it's going to cost more than two TVs worth and I spent less than 30 minutes maybe 45 or so on the internet with your technician he was very courteous he was patient and able to wait till I could get information for you as I am disabled and to me that was worth more money then you could ever tell that we're definitely use a service again if I need it and I will definitely tell my friends about it the great service he done a great job and I praise him for it
Just Answer explained to me what I should do to be sure Social Security had my correct address, since I had attempted to update the address but this had not been verified. Having received some Medicare communication sent to the previous address, I wanted to be sure. Just Answer was very responsive and helpful.
I found a bump and was so scared and freaking out all day. After talking to a doctor, I knew what it was and how to treat it. He was very nice and professional and certainly calmed me down. This is such a wonderful service

Where my mom lives they have no 24 hour emergency vets. I was able to have a knowledgeable vet with great bedside manner call me and he let me 3 way her in. Gave great advice, eased our concerns and saved me a ton by not going to a hospital when it was unnecessary. He also followed up and asked us to check in on how we was doing 2 hours after. This service is when the Internet makes me happy. They are the best
I was at a dead end trying to figure out how to correct my 2009 Toyota Corolla intermittent starting problems. With the helpful advice of a Just Answer mechanic, I was able to correct the problem quite readily. I am very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them to others seeking very helpful advice.
Had a legal question or 3. I live several states away from where the legal issue was & obviously the laws & regulations vary state to state so I was able to get a very helpful attorney on just ask that could answer my questions that pertained to the laws in that state & how & where to file paperwork for my case. Saved me from having to hire an attorney as well as a messenger service to deliver it. Highly recommended. Also had questions about a Diesel engine. Were answered fairly well by I think a retired mechanic. But as this were a 30 plus year old engine, he remembered them well & was helpful. Lots of professional ppl on just ask. I’m learning a lot & saving a lot of money with their advice & expertise.
This is an awesome sight. Was able to save $$$$$$$ fixing my dryer by myself. Will use this site in the future if I ever need help with anything
Amending an older tax return was a nightmare to figure out, with nothing on the web providing simple instructions for my specific needs. Coming across JustAnswer I received guidance from a tax professional and, to my great relief, the job got done. I'm awfully grateful to have found the help I was getting desperate for in this site.
I had asked a question about my Chrysler Town & Country and the expert who got back with the answer was quite helpful. He pinpointed the probable issue I was having and when I took it to the dealer they confirmed it almost immediately. Perfect call! And it saved me some diagnostic time and fees.
We signed up for the free trial and when prompted selected no to the membership option. We were charged anyway and expect a full refund. This is the 2nd time our family has been signed up without permission for a membership by this company. We didn't request a refund the first time but are 100% certain we did not choose this option and expect a full refund this time.

Angie M also canceled our chat when she could see I was typing a response. The membership sign up practice is obviously very shady and after reading other reviews at multiple sites its obvious that this is how Just Answer has chosen to do business.
I just found out that I have been paying this outfit $46/mo for almost a year, and I have/had no idea who they were. Had to look them up on the internet. Can't figure out how to discontinue my "membership" at their website. I don't have an account I can log into - as far as I know. Have asked my bank to cease the recurring payments. Notice there are many more complaints like mine to the Revdex.com.

The information on the JustAnswer web site leads a person to believe it is a non-subscription, one time event purchase. Upon asking the question (a car mechanical question in myu case) in the chat box on the web site, the site request a $5.00 fee to engage a mechanic. Upon processing the charge of $5.00, information was then posted this was a free 7 day trial and would automatically convert to a monthly membership of $34. Additionally, a cell phone number is then requested on which I would be contacted when the mechanic has the answer.
The presentation of the web site clearly builds an expectation of a chat room problem resolution outcome implying a level of immediacy and not the "we will call you back when we get to it." The initial interaction is engaging the mechanic's assistant who will "connect" you with the mechanic after the fee is paid. There is no mention at any time of a delay time or scheduling of the resolution. Up until the fee is processed, the primary interaction is via a chat page. And then suddenly, the expectations become more clear when the charge has been processed and no specific timeframe is provided for when an answer will be received.
Upon seeing that I needed to supply a phone number and discovering it would used to contact me when the mechanic had an answer, it became clear the interaction would not be chat based at all. Upon finding this, I immediately searched to cancel my membership (no service had been provided at that point) and refund my money.
In the chat room, I requested to have my refund processed. Pearl indicated she would put me in touch with her supervisor and it would only take a minute. After 30 minutes, I concluded I would not be hearing from the company again soon.

Things like the time of day that the question was posted, and the number of Experts available in the category will play a part as well as the amount of Experts online familiar with your issue. The amount of complexity within the question, and the time it takes for an Expert to author a response also has an impact.
After checking your account I can see that an Expert did respond (albeit later than the expected response time) asking for the VIN of the vehicle. Regarding your charge, I can see that it was refunded the same day, even though the chat was disconnected. You had emailed us and we sent a response about the refund before you connected via chat.
