My two pups got into a bottle of supplements over the weekend. Vet answered promptly with pertinent question and kept up a conversation with me til all was solved. She reassured me they would be fine but to monitor for a bit longer. Great service.*** was awesome.
VERY HELPFUL, THEY TOLD ME WHAT I NEEDED TO KNOW.
Really helped us focus on solving the legal problem we have. It's a big advantage to be able to have an inexpensive professional opinion and then be given guidance on how to take the next step. Worth every penny.
quick response (~10 mins). Used suggestions and determined I needed a new switch.
very timely and very helpful.
Speedy reply. Got useful information on caring for my daughter's boil. It is already starting to get smaller. Thanks
Am having trouble uploading photos photos of the item in which the appraiser needs to make an honest assessment of it's value. Which is correct in his asking, the problem is on my end. When I accomplish that, I'm sure the final answer will be quite favorable. Being an old antique dealer, I would do the same thing!
was great. He explained to me what I need to do, I was about to do what I thought was ok. *** actually saved me from a whole lot of headaches and a possible lawsuit in the future. that was a well worth phone call from him. thank you, ***.
The answer given by *** to correct my Saturn Relay brakes' vibration and ABS warning light coming on did the trick. Just Answer were very prompt in responding and following up to ensure customer satisfaction with answers that provide solutions to correct the problem.
I received a quick response that was clear, concise, easy to understand. Much appreciated.
Very competent help to diagnose my oven problem. I am able to replace components but just needed help to identify which component was bad.
My technician was just fantastic and helped me out tremendously.
I was at a funeral and did not have time to cancel the trial membership . I explained it to the chat agent and they rudely disconnected the chat before I was done talking and did not issue me a refund .

After checking your account, I can see that you signed up for the $5 question with the 7 day free trial membership. As with any membership or subscription trial, if you do not cancel before the end of the trial, you will automatically be charged for your first month to avoid any disruption in service. Additionally, we send out emails welcoming you to the membership and an email is sent before your trial is ending.
Per our terms of service that you agreed to when you enrolled in the membership, the membership payment is not eligible for a refund as stated in section 10, subheading "Refunds, Cancellations, Abuse and Special Programs" as follows;

Although your payment is not eligible for a refund under our terms of service, I can see that we have refunded the membership payment for you. The funds were made available to your bank the next business day, however, the bank may take 3-5 business days to release the funds back to your account depending on their policy.
I hope that I have resolved your concerns to your satisfaction. Please let me know if there is anything else I may assist you with and I would be happy to help.

I contacted “Just Answer” and we started a “Chat” after I paid them $39. I the middle of the “chat”, I was asked to pay another $59 to talk with someone on the phone! I wrote back and said I was feeling it was a scam and the procedure started all over again. They wanted me to pay another $39! I never did get any answers!
Horrible company with bait and switch billing tactics. Their website said it was $5 to get a question answered. Never saw anything about a subscription. Now I notice I have a $53 charge that will be recurring on a monthly basis. Called to tell them I never approved this and they said their website tells you this. I never saw it and actually tried to go in and remove my credit card but it wouldn't let me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
JustAnswer was very good at answering my one question and I have no qualms against the $5 charge but it was never clear on the site that I would be automatically billed for a monthly fee of $46 to continue the service. I was billed 2 times but both charges showed up on my credit card statement for April 2019 and I asked my credit card company to reverse the charges and they did but a representative called them and gave them a snow job about sending me an email explaining I had 10 days to cancel the service which is a total lie since I went back and reviewed my emails from them {which I saved} and there was absolutely nothing on either email about a monthly service fee and so my bank charged me back again. They are very clever and when you do call and get to talk to them they are polite but will not refund anything and they say they will cancel the service. I am 74 and do not like to be scammed and pay for nothing with my small income. I just want my $92 back and for the government to protect us against companies like this one.

Sincerely,
*** I thank you for your response and I will accept the monies back that I initially asked for in my complaint and as you stated in your response.
I had a problem with my Panasonic microwave. I thought that I was on a Panasonic chat website, when in fact I was on a JustAnswer website.
After explaining my problem I was advised as follows:
"OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page to join JustAnswer for only $1 (fully-refundable). While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Appliance Technician about your situation and then connect you two.Continue >>"
When I continued and gave my credit card information, I was charged $5.00.
I then did get my question answered, but when I complained about the $5.00 charge rather than the "$1 (fully-refundable) charge the only answer was that they were not affiliated with Panasonic.
I now realize that I was not on a Panasonic chat session, but the $1 (fully-refundable) offer actually came from Just Answer.
I spoke to them before about them trying to take money out of my account and to take me off whatever they placed me on about two or three months ago. I was told they did and wouldn't be trying to take money out my account for something I didnt approve nor subscribe to. Yet they have my account at a negative 32.00 they trying to take out june 27,2019.

Hello. Thank you for this chance.
In April this year I had a health issue and as I was reading about it I came across JustAnswer on the 23rd April and I asked a question, was asked to pay 4.8 dollars which I did. I was helped and that was the last time I ever asked another question. So today I went to get my bank statement and I realised 44.36 and 44.48 dollars was deducted off my account on 29th April and 29th May respectively without my consent and authorization. I would love to know why, a refund of my money because I never asked a service that had to cost me a total 88.84 dollars. I would also like to have my account closed so I dont have any deductions in the future because the reason I am complaining from here is because I couldnt log in to my account and couldnt reach customer help on your JustAnswer website
Thank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. But I still have concerns because the refund payments that are being talked about have not reflected in my account and the first was made two weeks back and no money has been credited to my account and 5 days have since elapsed after the first refund was apparently issued. Thank you.
Sincerely
I had a technical problem with my business copier. I went to what I thought was a free advice site to get trouble shooting information. A sidebar popped up with a text box indicating a helpful "technician's assistant" with a headset on. I texted the nature of my copier problem. The assistant indicated that a professional technical person would soon be available for $5. I paid with a credit card and was told I could cancel this service. The technician came online and gave me information that I had already found on google. I was not satisfied with their service and told them so rather than post anything about it. I would have liked to have gotten my $5 back but I figured I'd just better cut my losses and cancel the service. At first the site assistant indicated that I had to talk to the Supervisor before I could cancel and that he was busy. Then the assistant indicated that I could cancel by clicking on "My Account" then "Membership" then "Cancellation". I tried to do that and the "assistant" indicated that I would have to talk to the Supervisor. As I am writing this complaint I found this information about my account:
"06/25/2019 ***
Locked by Customer Service"
This is supposed to be their policy:
"We're sorry you want to cancel your membership. To cancel your membership:
Select the Cancel membership button on the Membership panel in My Account."
I have done everything I can think of to cancel but they do not have a straightforward way to cancel. I thought their technical service was suspicious but not being able to cancel the membership goes beyond the bounds of legitimate business practices.
