Good communication setting up the appointment and re confirming arrival Arrived when they promised, did a great job of explaining options to me They are a great company to work with

My A/C tech was prompt, thorough and courteousMy A/C system was not communicating with my new furnace, and he reprogrammed to fix the problem

Mike came out to install a thermostat we had purchasedHe not only was able to get an upgraded thermostat in, he explained what features would not work and whyHe went through the set up steps with meAND he talked with me about the water softener we had a consult set up for and helped me to order the right fit for our home and get an installation date scheduled a lot sooner that I expectedAmazing customer service!

Just met a very nice H-VAC technician by the name Alberto from Genz-Ryan who did a thorough tuof our central air conditioner He was so patient with answering all my questions and showing me important things to know about how to care for our system to prevent problems down the road when the AC will get a hard work-out Don't want to have problems at the peak season when one really needs the AC to work properly It's hard then to get service when it will be in high demand due to mal-functioning equipment

Thank you very much for the quick description of our problem and reassuring us that an immediate repair was not needed Honesty goes a long way We'll be calling you when the repairs are actually needed! Hopefully in a long time though :)

The furnace wasn't working and he was here within a few hours Very nice man

Careful, thorough, thoughtful

Called Genz-Ryan weeks ago (mid May) to schedule a tune up on our HVAC system as part of the service plan we've been paying for First available was July 13! Seriously? Turns out there were a bunch of cancelations so the day was free The technician Tyler "ran a few tests" and came to the conclusion our air distributor is broken Refused to provide me with a written estimate nor give me an explanation as to how he came to the conclusion because I didn't go to "HVAC school" and I wouldn't know what he was talking about When a tune up is done, coils, bets, refrigerant levels, etcshould be checked, and Tyler didn't do anything In fact what he did do was ask me about my investments, walked around the house, insisted he walk around the house to the outside A/C unit using the basement walk out instead of the front door Extremely sketchy Left the door unlocked when he left and when he asked what I'd like the thermostat set to I said and he set it to 66! Obnoxious The price tag? For a bandaid solution to "fix" whatever needs fixing on my working unit, was over $ He asked what I thought the premium would cost and I said $thinking that is a ridiculous price He then asked how much my car cost because it would be closer to that price The quote was over $4100! The more I think about this call, the more concerned I become about this yahoo walking around my house, scoping it out, and asking about our investments and cars My recommendation? Don't hire this company, it's a total scam

Genz-Ryan is very professional and always provides optionsLet's face it people, no one wants to spend too much on repairs or replacing equipment, BUT if you have to these are the people to do itI am always provided with a couple of options - do nothing (if that is feasible), a short-term fix or replace the equipment if it is at the end of its life spanI am almost always able to get an appointment when I want the appointmentThey do keep me updated with phone calls and texts as to when the technician will be at my homeBoth my husband and I work full-time, so this makes it easier to plan our day if someone has to meet them at our house to let them inAlthough I have been know to give these guys my garage code and have them let themselves inThey are trustworthy! Ryan is the technician that visited yesterday - he's been to our house multiple times which is really niceIt's not often that you can say you develop a relationship with the repair people/trades people you useIt is always worth using professionals to have the job done correctly the first timeI am on one of their service plans ($10/month) and that gets me a free furnace and free air conditioning check each year plus I move to the head of the line for serviceI would highly recommend Genz-Ryan and all the people who work for them

Christy called me first thing the following morning after I left an online rquest for service the night beforeThat was awesome!! Jeff Fcame out and service tuned up my furnace and got it Ready to goA-performance

The furnace in our home stopped working I did some basic troubleshooting and determined that our control panel or gas valve was most likely broken We decided to have Genz Ryan, the company that installed the furnace in the house when it was built to come and do a diagnosis Genz Ryan charged $to come and diagnose the problem They told me that the problem was a bad control panel and that it would be $to repair The next day, I was surprised to get a call from the Genz Ryan technician telling me that he had replaced the control panel, but that that had not solved the problem and that I now needed to also replace the gas valve and that this would be almost $more I asked him how he did not diagnose the problem correctly in the first place and he said that he could not have tested the gas valve (I later learned that this is not the case) I told him that I was not going to pay the additional money when they misdiagnosed it and that I was not satisfied and asked him who

We have always been very impressed with the friendly customer service and the quality of work received We are a repeat customer and would recommend this business to others
