Zach did an amazing job for us We cannot be more thankful for his professionalism, friendliness, and prompt service We highly recommend Zach and his company, They are our techs for life!
I had a problem with my furnace and contacted Genz-Ryan to come out and take a look They let me know that it would be in the afternoon and that was right when Zach showed up Genz even gave me a call about minutes prior to his arrival so I was able to get home from workZach showed up and was able to determine the cause of my issue I was impressed with his troubleshooting skills and the steps he took to figure out what was causing my heat not to run After we figured it out, he was open and honest about the solutions We agreed on the correct solution for me and he was able to get the heat running Great experience! I hope, should I have any other issues, that Zach is the tech sent to my house!
AMAZING! We had our water heater go out last Thursday and Matt Mand Lauren came out to our houseThey made things easy for us and we got the plan (with a little finagling a few things around) and they were GREAT! In an approximate time of hours we had the water heater replaced, old one out the door and done! It was not your typical just replace and get out of thereMatt Mcalled the parts department and they came out right awayWe will use Genz-Ryan againIt helped that I kept MtDew at their side too!

The technicians and the customer service representatives were very friendly and helpful I have only positive things to say about the employees My only complaints are regarding Genz-Ryan practices and processes
I don't like that their bills are not itemized You get one total price whereas most businesses show you what you pay for parts and for labor--makes me wonder if they're hiding something
The other issue is their communications Before and after the installation of my new furnace, it seemed that I had to provide them my contact information every time I called in Also, information given to and given by the technicians was not available to customer service reps when I talked to them I also received multiple calls regarding the same thing It seems like the left hand doesn't always know what the right hand is doing
Great people but need some help with process!
Genz-Ryan came to certify a furnace for a City of Richfield point of sale inspection Ricki and his partner Dan took less than an hour to claim the following work needed to be performed to certify the furnace
Blower motor amperage was low:
-When asked where the amperage guidelines were found they said the internet; however they could produce no make or model number for the blower motor so we could verifyExhaust piping must be replaced by double wall piping to be up to code:
-No such code exists for currently installed furnaces
Laundry tub must be removed for proximity to furnace per code:
-No such code exists for currently installed furnaces
The quote for all this work was $sort of When asked for a specific quote they couldn't provide one right then; unless were going to do the work We were told the quote would be emailed the next morning When we called three days later having not received either an invoice or a quote we talked to a manager Jeff He had limited information about our appointment The information he had didn't show that we had been given an $"quote" When we continued to ask tough questions about the specifics of his technicians report to us he finally hung up It took weeks for an invoice for the very unethical visit, which being year and on SSI I paid $for, to be delivered by email No quote was provided, just a $furnace inspection visit that said the furnace had failedI had another HVAC contractor out later that week to certify the furnace and confirmed there were no code violations and the amperage testing they did was bogusThat visit was $
Tyler was very professional, competent, and polite in his interactionsWe especially appreciate the care he used in protecting the plants around the air conditioner and in moving around the house
We called for a check on water heater we ad a card for$serviceThe guys came in before we know it, they were telling us our water softener was out plus our water was bad everything was ruinedThey recommended a twelve Thousand dollar repair planThey had other less options I said we needed the water softener, he said that would be $then a pressure part that would be $The toilet was running and that was $Before we knew it, he had plummers there new faucets we never got to choose and wanted a check for!$6,250.00, Which we wanted a price break downHe said then it was a package they don't break the price downHe would email the receiptA week later I called we were sick about how they wouldn't tell us what else we payed forWhen I called the woman on the phone says oh you signed up for a service plan which we did'ntThen she transfers me to Jeff who was gonna resolve this issue he says oh I see you signed up for a service plan, he proceeds to tel
the date was changed due to work load & our yearly check up for furnace & a/c were not done
Adam and his coworkers did a very professional and complete job of replacing my central air unit which included the coil in the furnaceThey were on time, explained the process and very friendlyOnce they completed, they gave me a complete tour of what was done, explained the follinspection that would be done, and went over the warrantyThey cleaned up after their work and left the areas as they were when they started
Billy was very friendly and did a great job explaining what he did and went over the report so we could understand it I would highly recommend Genz-Ryan to anyone!

Andrew Dand Christy D, both receive high marks in the fixing of my furnace humidifier Andrew checked out, found a fault and cycled the system until he was positive that it was working He was also punctual and it was a great service callChristy Mis fantastic as well She is great on the phone and is a real pro at assessing the need and setting up the service call She does this with a cheerful positive attitude

The HVAC tech that came out to inspect my furnace was very professional and courteous He thoroughly tested the system and made recommendations to improve efficiency which I am still considering Thanks for a great experience!
I've been with this company for years as a customer I am very pleased overall Their technician Tom Ronia has serviced our house many times He is an intelligent, informed and friendly person to work with I would recommend this company to those looking for a reliable plumber
