A Genz-Ryan plumbing representative (Matt M.) inspected and flushed my water heater He was very personable, efficient, and knowledgeable He also gave me information about Genz-Ryan, their products and services, prices, and many items to choose from I expect that I will make additional purchases and will definitely want Matt as a future service person

So grateful to have found this company to assist us with our plumbing needs Dave was wonderful to work with, and managed to fix our problems with our iron filter and water softener not only quickly, but no longer does it wake us up in the middle of the night needing service! I had a routine service visit a few months ago At this visit was told I needed new water heater, water softner and a motor intake vale replaced on my furnace for a total of I was told I could get 0% interest by financing it for a year On day of visit I agreed and the furnace was fixed and scheduled softner and heater visit for the following Wednesday After visit that day I researched and found I was being overcharged Also called in a second opinion and was told my water heater was fine and not leaking as I was told I canceled apt for water heater and softener with technician and asked that he cancel financing and I pay Genz Ryan directly for services on furnace I waited for this to be processed and received a bill from the company financing for $but the services day of for furnace were quoted at $less then that and financing was supposed to be canceled I called Genz Ryan to correct after this times to correct Spoke with customer service reps, was t

I called Genz Ryan when my furnace quit working during the recent cold spell They were unable to give me a definite appointment, but said that they would send a technician some time that day I was treated with courtesy and professionalism by the customer service representatives on the telephone (Karen and Alexis) I received several calls to update me on when I could expect the technician About 8:PM on a Friday, Noah Fappeared at my home He put on shoe covers and immediately went to work on diagnosing the problem He explained the situation and the alternatives for repairing the problem He installed an upgraded blower motor and had the furnace working in about two hours He was professional, cleaned up the work site and repaired the problem Overall, I was very satisfied with their response and work completed
Tom addressed and answered my water heater questions very clearly, inspected quite a few plumbing items, and fixed a water valve problem that bothered me all winter

Tyler is well-mannered and attentive He listens well He does not push his agenda or attempt to unnerve the customer While the Genz-Ryan pricing structure is more expensive he attempts to soften the impact with a focus on long-term benefit He represents the company well One suggestion: he needs to be ready to explain Genz-Ryan's payment plan options for more expensive repair or replacement work
Mike B had arrived on time to check on my furnace He did a thorough inspection and found my plus year old furnace is not worth saving He provided several options on the new heating systems Genz Ryan was offering with no added pressure from him We opted on the new heating system that fits our need the best with all the questions answered by MikeMike is very knowledgeable and a complete professional I would recommend Genz Ryan to anyone

Our furnace went out late in the eveningWe called Genz-Ryan and Tyler came right out to our home to investigate the issueHe was unable to fix the furnace that evening, however he was able to turn the furnace on so we had heat overnightThe following day he was able to repair the problemTyler provided excellent service!

Matt did a very good job explaining options and giving his recommendation He did the plumbing task quickly and clean up was excellent Things now work well with the plumbing issue we had
One area where there could be improvement - The company had just launched some new electronic work order write up of options, that started the very morning my appointment was set for Matt tried for over hours to use the new software and made many calls to get assistance In the end, he presented options on paper and I made a decision I felt bad for Matt My suggestions, don't start any new software out in the filed until after everyone has been trained and tested for competence Lucky I had the day off I was not in any hurry Matt was a nice guy and I felt bad for him But he did a top notch job on the plumbing (and that's what I'd expect for the prices charged)
