excellent experience with Jeff Fat Genz-Ryan on service call for AC Arruved in time; worked carefully, identified problems and gave advice and did NOT recommend any unnecessary service
The service was excellent The technicians did a great job of explaining the issue as well as walking through all the readings (especially CO levels) that drove the proposed resolution They also did a great job of walking through the various options for repair or replace of the furnace, which of course is a very difficult decision due to price
Matt Mwas here to flush out my hot water heaterHe had finished an earlier job and Genz - Ryan asked if he could come nowMy answer was yes Matt put on cloth boots and took them off each time he had to go in and out to his truck for parts !!! He found and showed me corroded parts in my year old tank and 'asked' if I wanted them replaced---no pressureThat being done, and water while water was filling, he chatted about deer hunting which was greatHe cleaned up as it was when he cameThis was a wonderful experience
Dave Brown was very friendly and good as all bathrooms are now operational!

I needed plumbing help urgently Matt M was great He took care of my urgent problem and my not so urgent plumbing needs Matt was pleasant and professional and I really appreciated his willingness to go above and beyond
David listened to my concerns, checked them out, completed the maintenance job that served as the primary reason for his visit He then presented me with information regarding ways to remedy my concerns He was very professional and pleasant to have around He was representative of each of the workers from Genz-Ryan who we have had in our house This is why we keep going back to them
Steve and Andrew D were to my home about our infloor heatThey were very knowledgeable and discussed what we needed to fix our problem on MondayOn Wednesday Loren B and Andrew D came back out to our home to answer some more questions we hadVery professional

Both Mike G& Mike Bwere so professional & helpful Was having problem with my ice maker & they took the time to help me with some minor adjustments which saved me a service call They inspected my air conditioner giving me options for some repairs needed without trying to sell me more than I needed

Steve ***, a service tech for Genz Ryan, came out to our house late last night due to an A/c failure He was professional, well informed and explained our lousy situation to us He said he would try his hardest to help us with the manufacturer whose equipment failed and to get back asap to do the work himself Overall, Steve was a buttoned up representative for Genz Ryan and handled a hard situation well
Today I had hired Genz-Ryan to come install a thermostat which I had already owned and to tuneup furnaceTune up of furnace was $and tech did a good jobI asked him how long to install thermostat and he said about but it might be expensiveHe called to talk to company rep and informed me it would be $I was shocked Then he called company again in the price was increased to $to install my Honeywell thermostatI called the customer service rep at Genz- Ryan to complain about the cost and they said that there was nothing they could do about the pricingI drove min to their Burnsville headquarters to speak with the customer service maganger I was upset that I had taken the day off to specifically have the thermostat installed in when they got to my house they informed me it was $ I was asked how you get $and minutes worth of work only explanation was there a premium company and stand behind their workI asked for a copy of the quote for $to install the thermostat and was declinedRepeatedly was told they do not do this A reputable company would give you a quote in writing and that would not indulge in price gouging Whole experience seems pretty unethical and I will never do business with them again

On November 3, 2017, we had a faulty water heater that needed replacingDue to it being on a Friday, we needed to wait until Novto get an estimate on a replacement unitTo our surprise, a comperable replacement cost $3600, which we reluctantly agreed to (price includes a monthly maintenance agreement)Within a few days, the water temperature seemed to be getting cooler; I was instructed over the phone how to adjust the temp of the tank and to see that could resolve the issueOn the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (11/22), a service person came out and determined that electronics were faulty and needed replacing (needed to order parts), but he claimed that modifications he made would get us by until the parts would come inThe next day - Thanksgiving Day (11/23) - there was not any hot water at allI placed a call to the company - telling them that we could get by until Friday - but wanted to see if the parts could be expeditedLate Friday morning (11/24), I finally called agai
