We used Genz-Ryan special to flush out our Water Heater The serviceman was Alex and he was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable Ironically, he had let me know a service my city provided "free of charge" to residents Wow, we actually saved money We will continue to use Genz-Ryan in the future as we have in the past

A Genz-Ryan plumbing representative (Matt M.) inspected and flushed my water heater He was very personable, efficient, and knowledgeable He also gave me information about Genz-Ryan, their products and services, prices, and many items to choose from I expect that I will make additional purchases and will definitely want Matt as a future service person

Called Genz-Ryan weeks ago (mid May) to schedule a tune up on our HVAC system as part of the service plan we've been paying for First available was July 13! Seriously? Turns out there were a bunch of cancelations so the day was free The technician Tyler "ran a few tests" and came to the conclusion our air distributor is broken Refused to provide me with a written estimate nor give me an explanation as to how he came to the conclusion because I didn't go to "HVAC school" and I wouldn't know what he was talking about When a tune up is done, coils, bets, refrigerant levels, etcshould be checked, and Tyler didn't do anything In fact what he did do was ask me about my investments, walked around the house, insisted he walk around the house to the outside A/C unit using the basement walk out instead of the front door Extremely sketchy Left the door unlocked when he left and when he asked what I'd like the thermostat set to I said and he set it to 66! Obnoxious The price tag? For a bandaid solution to "fix" whatever needs fixing on my working unit, was over $ He asked what I thought the premium would cost and I said $thinking that is a ridiculous price He then asked how much my car cost because it would be closer to that price The quote was over $4100! The more I think about this call, the more concerned I become about this yahoo walking around my house, scoping it out, and asking about our investments and cars My recommendation? Don't hire this company, it's a total scam

Quick and Friendly service Matt outlined all of my options for repairI asked a few questions regarding implications of my choice and he answered them fairly and honestly Service was completed with a few hours, very fast Nice guy and good company

Same day service totally unexpected but so appreciated Jeremy came out to our home to look into a air conditioner issue He was very thorough and explained every detail and gave us options for the repairIt was nice to have options for "US" to decide how to proceed This made it easy to pick the proper repair option for usNever once was there pressure to over sell or run up the bill for unnecessary repairs! days later Terry came out to handle the repairs and did an outstanding job Arrived on time and was very thorough, extremely neat and clean! It was an a top notch experience

I can't say enough good things about Mike B Professional, courteous, friendly He came for a consultation and it couldn't have been any better! I highly recommend Mike and Genz-Ryan for anything!

last night about 10pm we noticed that our main water pipe was leaking.they had a service guy call me said they dont wanna have to come out tonight if they didnt have to so he had me send pictures of the issue then he told me to shut down my water softener and I said that the water hasnt stopped but he said that would be fine until morning.the next morning I called them they said that we had an opened end appointment I kept telling them I have water leaking everywhere she didnt care to hear about it.then I called back minutes later said I need it done asap its an emergency they told me they cant be there until 12-2pm.finally I called back at 210pm said im still waiting and the person on the phone said they had an emergency and I said mine isnt.its 237pm and im still waiting now.I think just because I have a system on warranty they have to service me but there clients are jumping ahead of me

Our year old AC stopped working and Genz Ryan stated it was a circuit board that went out, and that for about $I could get the AC working againMike also said for $a month we could get our systems checked out for freeThe AC still didn't work and they had to come back out and find out the real reason, the compressor was out (just like our neighbors that Genz installed too, years ago)Mike stated it would take about hours for the install and the quote was $for the hoursWe waited for over weeks during the summer for the compressor to be installedIt only took hours, but they insisted on still charging $1100!We could not get them to show us a receipt on the work or on the work they did previouslyThey wouldn't even give us a warranty on the workI also called on 8/22/(talked to Collen) to cancel the $a month charge since they overcharged me on the installRachel at Genz Ryan kept charging our card every month for the $20, even though we cancelled a

Mike G did fine work tuning on our AC He was on time, did the inspection quickly and ended up in his truck for minutes while he waited for a windy downpour to finish so he could complete the work He ended up using an umbrella under his arm to finish when the stubborn rain refused to quit, just so he wouldn’t be an imposition any longer on our evening Nice friendly guy We were glad to have him
