we are able to verify there was a pricing errorWhile Kohl’s reserves the
right to correct any errors, records do indicate the customer was promised a

We advise her to reply with the Visa gift card numbers on the card and where this was obtained as we are unaware of such promotionOnce we receive this information we can investigate further

I don't think that Kohl's is at all sorry and there was never any confusion as they state in their response. From the get go they made it clear that they had no real method or policy for dealing with a return in a place that does not have a Kohl's store. Now I am out $because I had to return a gift that did not work as advertised at all. If they were truly sorry and interested in honoring their "hassle-free" return return policy and making a customer whole, they would simply write a check for $51.81.

This is contrary to what multiple representative told me, as well as what actually happenedPer a reply from Kohl's support (the most recent, received on 5/16):***I apologize if I was not able to elaborate and further clarify what happened to the authorizations on your accountI reviewed our process when it comes to orders mixed with a ship-to-home and pickup-in-store items once againI found that a pending authorization for the amount that you paid for the ship-to-home item will also show up on your account and will fall off the moment this order gets delivered to your home address, as what happened in this incident.Order total = $176.05; $authorized on card($BOPUS & $ship-to-home)When the BOPUS item is ready for pick up at the store, customer will see:• Initial $authorization• $charge (BOPUS item)• $charge (remaining )*Authorizations should fall off within 7-daysThis is means that it is that you are seeing both an authorization for the ship-to-home order and BOPUS order and they will eventually fall off from your credit statement.Please be assured that we never intend to inconvenience you in any wayPlease don't hesitate to let me know if you have any further concern.Sincerely,*** ***

We recommend the customer visit his local Kohl's store and request to speak with a Store Manager to assist with processing the returnWe are able to lopurchases made via a Kohl's Charge account as far as monthsWe are unable to process a refund without the physical merchandiseWe

As previously stated, our representatives do not have access to our customer's My Kohl's Charge login information therefore they are unable to elect billing statement options for the customerWe apologize for any confusion

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]11-I called Kohls twice to get the tag.11-UPS showed up, but Kohls had not issued a tag.11-UPS came back, but Kohls had only issued tag for a piece set UPS refused to take it.11-UPS still only had tag and told me I would need about $worth of boxes.11-Kohls told me to throw the item away and my account would be credited within days I bought a table from a different retailer and put the original in the trash. 12-I called Kohls again times before I actually reached someone After minutes I was hung up on I emailed, but did not receive a response. 12-I received an email that a credit was being issued.
