Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Microsoft chooses not to provide any prorated refund and continues poor customer service practices, charging for a service that is not used. They clearly can provide a refund but in their greed they do not want to.Customers should be aware of the poor customer service that Microsoft provides.
Sincerely,

Dear [redacted],
Thank you for contacting Microsoft Corporation via the Revdex.com regarding an issue with your Surface replacement. We have reviewed your situation and while we understand your frustrations, we are unable to take the action you have requested. As the agent you were in...

contact with explained, if a device is cracked, the service center breaks it apart as soon as it finishes inspection and therefore the device is unable to be returned to you.
We apologize that we are unable to offer further assistance with this matter, and consider this case closed. We appreciate your time and have recorded your feedback.
Sincerely,
Microsoft Corporation

Revdex.com:This matter did not get resolved through Revdex.com but did get resolved.  I am not pleased with how Microsoft handled this and I did get ahold of the enforcement team and proved that I was not in violation by providing receipts that I did nothing wrong as I said I would if I was given the chance.  My account is now unbanned but this process was a lot harder than it needed to be.  All that needed to happen was for you guys to listen to me when I said I wasn't in violation and this complaint would have never been filed and everything could have been handled a lot sooner.  Microsoft needs to improve their system.  You could have called me or sent me an email before the ban asking me about the transaction and telling me the consequences if I hadn't come up with proof.  There was no need for you to ban my account when I did nothing wrong.  Take this as a learning experience of how you can improve your customer service.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  I had several conversations with several representatives including supervisors.  And the product is still within the written warranty period.  And Microsoft refuses to honor that written warranty.  Just referring my to a store over 100 miles away to "see" if a third party will do what they will not. The reference number I was given was: [redacted].
Sincerely,

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: There is no offer of problem resoloution. Thanking a customer for using the original product does not absolve the company from continued customer harassment. The issue remains the same. Microsoft is broadcasting unsolicited offers for a Windows 10 upgrade without providing a means of declining the offer permanently. This is customer harassment. I was hoping the Revdex.com was going to offer a little more help than lip service.Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:The issue at hand is not the about the credit that still resides in my account. I understand how it can be used and where it can be used at this time. The issue is that Microsoft sent me an email saying I had to use my account credit or it would be lost. In this email it said the following:"You can use your promotional balance before it expires to buy apps, games, music, and more at any of the following stores: Windows StoreWindows Phone StoreXbox GamesXbox MusicXbox Video"And those items were all hyperlinked to take me to their respective stores on the Microsoft website simply by clicking on them. However, when I clicked on the "Xbox Games" link it took me to the 360 marketplace and ONLY displayed 360 games for purchase. I found out after purchase that my credit could not be used on any of those games (after speaking to customer service after the fact) despite the fact that the email itself directed me to those games. The problem is that Microsoft's email lead me directly to a store where none of the items were valid to purchase with credits despite the email saying so. Also, nowhere in the email did it explain or warn that 360 games were exempt on the Microsoft website. My problem is why would Microsoft send me an email about using my credits and then direct me to a store where they cannot be used at all (despite telling me they could be in their own email). This is the equivalent of an employee standing outside a store and saying "Don't worry your store credit is good on anything inside" and you go in a buy items. After your purchase you look at your receipt and ask why your store credit wasn't applied and you're told "Your credit wasn't valid for anything in here and never was". The fact of the matter is that Microsoft is sending out emails telling people to buy items with store credit and directing them to a place where store credit isn't even valid without any explanation or warning regarding the issue on their website as well.   Sincerely,[redacted]

Dear [redacted],
Thank you for contacting Microsoft Corporation via the Revdex.com. If this is not the case, please let us know, otherwise Microsoft will be closing this case as resolved.
We appreciate your time and continued support of Microsoft products and services.

Microsoft Corporation

Complaint: [redacted]Thank you very much for the credit to the account. I appreciate it, however that only solves part of the problem. Several questions still remain about my security that I need responses from from Skype. They provided a link to their security page, none of which resolves my personal concerns and issues with my situation.1. The unauthorized calls still remain listed on my account. What is the effect of keeping them there? I have downloaded the list of them for my records, but should I delete them now from the account? If I remove them, what happens in the future should there be any issues?2. I am still certain that the issue of my account's security has been handled. What steps have been taken by Skype to determine how my account was hacked and who those people are? What kind of information might they now have about me? What measures is Skype taking to protect my account now that they have acknowledged the calls were unauthorized?3. Is my account secure to use?4. Should I change the email address associated with the account to maintain further security? How will this affect my friends being able to find me on Skype--can they simply look up my handle?Once these questions have been answered fully I will feel this complaint has been resolved.Sincerely,[redacted]
