Complaint:...

I am rejecting this response because:On day 1,  I had provided the receipt id.  I had described everything carefully and clearly in the original messages. And I got message from Microsoft asking about the very basic information.  They were not helping. And still they don't fulfill the warranty liability.  My request is either 1) Have current device repaired with data integrity maintained; Or 2) have files recovered (a reasonable data recovery fee is acceptable) and a new device exchanged."Warranty is not honored. I purchased the device, used it for total 6 hour with care and "respect", and it failed completely. Not only I need to pay for data recovery service, but also I will lose the device's $700 warranty value. My Surface Pro 4 was bought June, 2017. After ten days usage (totally 5 hour), it couldn't power up. With ABSOLUTELY NO damage from outside, this surface pro just failed completely. I've been to Microsoft Store in valley fair, and another store in Stanford. The conclusion from store specialist and manager was "very likely the firmware problem, it happens. And it can not be repaired since screen doesn't light up." Because of the important files saved in the device, I chose to have data recovery service from Microsoft Store for $50. But I was told, in that case, they won't honor the warranty because the device would be broken. In other words, when they break the device in order to recover data, they blame customer for breaking it and cancel warranty. I can hardly think that's reasonable, I just need data recovery service, and whether they need to break anything has nothing to do with me. The fact that they need to do certain things to recover the data is totally a matter of the quality of Microsoft's manufacture and repairing skill. I, as a customer, should not be held accountable for anything they do, by any means. I asked about the reason politely, and the answer was even more frustrating. I was told, after returned, the malfunction device still has re-sell value after being repaired. In other words, Microsoft's logic is, if they can't resell the malfunction device they would hold customer accountable for company "loss". No wander why my "new" Surface Pro 4 failed completely within 5 hour usage. Microsoft Store (Valley Fair, San Jose) claims Microsoft definitely has no way to recover data. Microsoft Store (Stanford) gave me options of file recovery, I appreciate that they've tried to help

I am rejecting this response because:The fact that the suspension has been lifted has no bearing on this case. The suspension lasted for a week (which was paid for) and I have yet to receive a reasonable explanation as to the reason for the suspension. Why are you people so evasive and secretive? What are you trying to hide? You claim you conducted a thorough investigation. I simply want to know SPECIFICALLY what my son did to cheat, when he was supposed to have cheated, and evidence to support your allegations. Surely you are literate enough to fulfill this simple request.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I did not include the Service Request numbers in my original complaint. So as per the company's response, here they are, chronologically: SR#[redacted], SR#[redacted], and SR#[redacted]Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
The statements made by Microsoft are false. They did NOT make MANY attempts to contact me. I received ONE voicemail from them which was odd as my phone never rang when they called. Nonetheless, I responded to the accompanying e-mail that they sent after their call. I mentioned in the email sent by Bedanta B[redacted], the Support Escalation Engineer, that he never left any contact information so that email was my only way of responding to him. I also called Microsoft back and asked to speak to him. Once again, a hard-headed agent did NOT comply, but he offered to help. Therefore, I provided the agent with the tick number. He attempted to assist me but was unable to solve the issue. All of this was explained in the email so I'm not sure why they're trying t make it sound as if I am not reachable or am not communicating. Revdex.com, please close the case and note that the issue remains unresolved/I am dissatisfied. I will manage the issue for now but going forward I will be switching to a non-Microsoft computer.
Sincerely,[redacted]
