I do not accept Kohl's response, as they merely reiterated that they are standing by their policyWhile I certainly admire their steadfast stance, it seems that as a merchant, they are more concerned of enforcing policy, than providing quality customer service. I was told by employees in the store, and on the phone, that the policy changed, as they were receiving damaged goodsWhile I understand the need to product business, I certainly don't see how this appliesIt seems that the policy should have some wiggle-room and allow an associate to determine the condition of a product, and whether or not they will be incurring a loss due to damage goods. As a consumer, I think they are going to lose business in the long-run due to the refusal to bend the rules, and more than that, their refusal to actually address my concern with anyone more than a canned reponseI have attached an image of the back of the receiptThis clearly states their hassle-free return policy, without so much as a mention of any exception to the ruleThe Federal Trade Commission, as well as laws in Michigan, protect consumers from unfair and deceptive business practices. How can a business make a boldly make such a strong statement concerning a policy that is incorrect? I am very displeased with this entire process and certainly hope that Kohl's will read my response, look at the situation from a consumer's viewpoint, and allow me to make my return for store credit.

Kohls has knowingly and fraudulently advertised promotions on their website that they are not standing behind There are many more examples of this same practice on numberous review websites I would advise the Revdex.com to look in to these deceitful business practices and take action I will be contacting an attorney to review the claim as well I would suggest Kohl's rethink their company message that is written beneath their company name "expect great things" and decide whether they walk the walk to just talk the talk

I think it is crazy that Kohl's is okay with taking money from people and not feeling even a little bad about a bride and groom not receiving their gifts. Perhaps your company should change from UPS to Fed Ex or require a signature of the recipient so it is easier to track. This has caused a big issue. It could have been a simple fix but you oviously do not take the word of customers over a company like UPS who has no ability to provide customer service just like you. It may not matter to you, but it matters to meYour service is horrible in regards to your operation of gift registries. You need a better delivery system and a way that the bride and groom can see who bought what so this isn't an issue in the future. I can't believe the hoops you are making people jump through when they actually have an order number. I made this complaint because I think people need to know how you operate
