We had a loss on March 2, when three trees fell on our home during a winter stormWe filed a claim with our insurance company, State Farm with the claim number ***The adjuster came out on March (before tree removal) and later again on April (after tree removal)
The adjuster substantially underestimated the cost to repair/replace the damage in the estimate reportWe have submitted multiple estimates from several contractors/providers and discussed with the claim handler multiple timesState farm, however, made no change to the estimate
We also submitted the invoice from tree removal company for reimbursement in early April, which both the claim adjuster and the handler promised to promptly reimburse us, but we haven't received the reimbursement
In addition, State Farm has stopped responding to us since April We have called multiple times and left many voicemailsState Farm has never called back and has not made any progress in resolving the claim

I have had State Farm for 20+ years and have never put in a claimWithin a few years I and my husband had a car accident which was the other driver's fault and they received ticketI received permanent spine damage and had many surgeons and Spine Specialist on my side with test results taken after the accidentState farm was both mine and the other Driver's insurance companyState Farm did not want to pay my claim and actually helped the guy who got the ticketThey also actually paid a doctor that I never saw to testifyI went through many years off meetings and hearings outside of court and it never went to trialI couldn't take any more slander and making me look bad at every turn with their dishonestySo, I said I didn’t need their money, it wasn’t worth all that they were putting my family throughAs if that was not the last straw, we had hail damage in our neighborhood, it was so bad that we took video of water running down our streetsEveryone in the neighborhood put in claims to their insurance company'sRoofs were replaced and their houses received a new coat of paintMy State Farm adjuster came out and took pictures, he didn’t include the paint and said "It was Splatter" whatever the heck that means and would not pay for itThey said it would come off when pressure washed , which it did not and is now fading horriblySo I took it upon myself to bring a painter specialist out who said it was indeed hail damageWe submitted the quote to State Farm which said it was indeed hail damageI received a call asking to to take pictures...lolREALLY! I became upset and said, "You already have picture, the other neighbors have since had their homes repairedPressure washing did not take it out and the paint is fading and looks horrible"OH MY GOSH!!!! This is the last straw"I told them their insurance rates are very expensive(their rates keep going up and up) and I have paid them to take care of things like thisIf they don't fix it I will be contacting my attorneyThe lady says, well then I can't talk to you...hahahahaha, I said you can still talk to me, I didn't obtain an attorney yet" I could go on and onPlease do yourselves a favor and stay clear of this Company..STATE FARM IS HORRIBLE!!!!

I have been a customer with State Farm for over twelve yearsRecently I allowed a family member to drive my vehicle as hers was inoperableAnother driver ran a red light causing an accident with her, there is video footage of this accidentI called to let State Farm know about the accident so that the vehicle could be removed as it was totaledState Farm started demanding that I lie and say she lives in my home and add her to my policyShe has never, will never live in my home and drove my vehicle once
I refused to lie and as such State Farm dropped my insurance on all of my vehicles and gave me less than a month to find another insurance companyI called my agent and customer service multiple times to resolve the issueMy agent refused to help me at all, he said "I'm not the one that dropped you, you'll have to call customer service." When I called customer service they refused to do anythingCustomer service wanted me to send proof that my family does not live in my home

After paying my insurance for the month of April I received a notice stating that my policy was being canceled May due to accidentsMind you my payment is due on the 15th of every month I called Derek Morel office the next day and ask to speak to him and was told by Angela he was not availableI told her the situation and she stated that she would contact underwriting and give me a call backAngela called back the same day and stated that underwriting said that they would not renew my ppolivy upon renewal which is in July and I would need to secure other insurance by then I asked her was she sure and would they contact the DMV, she said yes and I will also get a reinstatement letterI checked my mailbox on May and a refund check was attached stating it was a result of closing my payment plan account So for how ever many days I have been possibly driving around with no insurance after paying State Farm $a month which is $$more than my car note Derek Morel off

Cease and desist with all contacts
For years this person has been mailing me requests for my businessThey arrive about twice a month
For the last year I have returned to sender all requests marking the envelope " remove from mailing list "
These requests are dishonest in my opinion because the name of the business is conveniently left off the envelope with only the name of the agent
Our family has had State Farm in the past Never ever again
And last I do not drive or own a car What utter stupidity

Recently gotten in a car wreckand the wreck was not my faultBut the company did not investigate the caseAlso they wont even answer my calls regarding my claimAnd when leave voicemailsI dont get a return callAll in all they are just bad buisness that wont stand by their costumers

I was in an auto crash weeks ago and was rear ended by one of your customers An adjuster looked at my truck and issued me a check for repair I took my truck, an Ford F-to Woody Anderson Ford in Huntsville, AL for repair There were other repairs found by Woody Anderson after they began the work Apperently they found a third needed repair and completed the third repair before contacting State FarmMy truck has been completed and ready for pick up for days I was told by a State Farm agent that the adjuster was scheduled to be there either late yesterday afternoon, 12-13-18, or early the next morning All they need is a check and I can pick up my truck I was told today that it would be early next week before the adjuster could be at Woody Anderson Ford That means my truck is repaired but I can't pick it up for a week because the adjuster can't take minutes to ride over there and look at itI could have requested a rental car but I didn't I saved the company at least $in rental fees I would think that the adjuster could take half an hour out of their day to issue a simple check

I received a letter from State Farm dated June 7, that a vehicle covered on my premium would endure a mid-year increase from to 865.53, effective 8/5/ The explanation was due to coverage being ceded to the North Carolina Reinsurance facility The reasons the agent gave me for this extreme increase did not set well with me with no claims, no issues and a 1/year old paid ticket After researching other insurance companies that were full aware of all vehicles and drivers history, no issues were raised Therefore, I cancelled my policy effective June 15, My monthly premium for vehicles was (vehicle - 58.76, vehicle - 44.56, vehicle - 68.30) My monthly premium coverage dates were June - July 5, which was paid on June 5th Since I cancelled June 15th I only used days of coverage and should be refunded for days unused coverage After my policy was cancelled State Farm auto drafted an additional premium from my account of (whic

To whom it may concern,
I signed up for automatic payment for my car insurance and every month since doing so it has been shenanigans continuously every month with the agent. At one point I had my Chase banker call and verify that the account was paid up in full and given a reference number.A similar complaint was filed with your office on the issue and the matter was resolved. Now when I go to pay my insurance payment again. The agent attempted to charge me for the missed March payment.I refused to pay it.Today I called to try and make my payment and find out there raising my rates from to for no reason and charging me for a home owners policy the whole time while Ive been living in my car trying to get on my feet and save enough money for an apartment.I have not received any tickets and dont understand why this is happening?
Sincerely
James Welsh

On November 30, 2017, I requested Mr***'s office as my agent for State Farm to institute a claim on my behalf for an automobile accident in which I was involved I also contacted this office for new insurance on the car I had to purchase as a result of this accident I was given a quote of $per six months
After hearing nothing from this office or the State Farm Claims Department, I contacted Mr***'s office on December 22, 2017, and was told by their office that the valuation quote on my vehicle was $9,
Again I heard nothing from anyone at State Farm until I received the final valuation at $7,
I since have received a new bill for my six months policy for $ I requested that Mr*** call me regarding my concern with his office's services As of January I have not heard from Mr*** His office informed me he was at a football game
I am very dissatisfied with the service, honesty, and credibility of Mr*** and his office

To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter to post a official complaint about the practices of State farm Insurance improperly raising my rates for my automobile insurance based on in my belief an accident that I was involved in that someone hit my carI believe that state farm is uses practices of discrimination against minorities and veteran of which I am to justify raising my rates upward of 40% for one automobile I am already paying an close to a year and just discovered that they are charging me an additional monthly for an accident of which I obtained some injuries even thought I was not the at fault driverNow, there in no way they can truthfully justify raising my rate in such a manner when I was not the cause of the accidentTherefore, I believe that the color of my skin is the factor here and I will call them out on these evil practicesI recently got ride of my other vehicle that I had on my policy with them and expected my rate to rise but they

I switched to State Farm a few months back just so I could have a local agentWell that was a big mistakeMy policy was suppose to be $a monthWell a few days later I received a call from my local agent stating that I didn't have uninsured so they advice that I should have it, well we went ahead and added that to my policy and I was told my bill would go up roughly $a monthI get my second bill and it was $more so I just thought it was due to the uninsured being added so I was fine with thatWell then I get my 3rd bill and it is now up to $which is now $more then what my first quote wasSo I called my agent and they adviced me it was due to I selected the safe driver program and I never installed the device in my carWell how can I install a device in my car that was never sent to me? So since my agent can't do their job they wanna keep raising my ratesIf you ask me that should be theft since I was on auto pay and that isn't the rate that I agreed upon when I set up the auto payWhich is why I have now cancelled my policy with your company and will never do business with your company again!!

They were absolutely amazing for usOur car got totaled a couple days before Christmas, so the claim we filed understandably took a few days to get startedBut once it was started, it only took them days to finalize everything and pay it offCustomer service was great and our local agent is amazingSo happy to have State Farm

Management's response to complaints ended up in something worseAn individual in management called me about the complaints twice at 12:p.mMST Aug(and again, twice, just minutes later -- that's rather harassing)A poor associate emailed me about sending my insurance payout via snail mail even though I took the time to set up my profile on StateFarm.com weeks earlier to have the payout be sent electronically to my bankHe said that this guy who called me four times in just minutes had talked with himWay to go, State Farm managementYou dealt with issues by creating another issueYou may just want to follow the user's preferences that they took the time to set up on your own websiteSeems that doing anything otherwise wouldn't be customer satisfactionThen add on to that that this was State Farm management's way to handle other issues(And for what it is worth, no, State Farm management -- for me, snail mail will not be faster than electronic transferI doubt how often it would be for anyone, but not me also since my agent lives hours away.)

I had a very disappointing experience with the State Farm company and brandOur vehicle was stolen and my agents were no where to be foundWe were given the run around and were pacified to keep us at bayI called/call frequently and would receive no answerI am still waiting for answers going on close to one year past this accidentI am disappointed in the fact that throughout this entire ordeal I have yet to speak to my agents and that we are still pending services

Marinda Simpsons State Farm was fired by me for not providing me adequate services that justified the high rates they were chargingThey said that they issued a refund check, and that it would arrive in 2-weeksI believed the agent and waited for my refund check for the remaining balance to arrive in the mailAfter a month, it had not arrivedWhen I called, the agent stated that it must have been lost in the mailThis is a clear delay tactic that the American Association for Justice has identified as a trick of the insurance trade in the paper titled, "Tricks of the Trade: How Insurance Companies Deny, Delay, Confuse and Refuse"
At this point I demanded that my refund check be placed in next day mailThe agent said that was not possibleWhen I asked for the tracking number on the check so I could track its slow progress to me, the agent said that was not possible as wellAt this point, I believe Marinda Simpsons branch of State Farm is knowingly engaging in deceptive and m

We were rear ended and had the worst trouble getting them to payout for our vehicle which they still haven'tEven though they took it said it was a total loss and agreed to payI would stronly advise against using them

While I was in the market for a car I was faced with the decision of buying an older car or finacing a newer carWith financing you are required to have full coverage insuranceI knew that if I was going to get insurance I would go with StateFarm because my family uses this agencyI called and got my quote of $a month for my auto insuranceI locked in this price with the agency and paid my first monthly payment of $and got my car later that same dayWhen I went to go pay my bill the following month my rate was higher than $I called the agency and talked to an agent named Dora who could not give me an explanation of why my rate went upStateFarm took an extra $out of my bank account without my permissionI complained and they refunded me $while assuring me that they would find a way to lower my rate back down to the original quote of $The following month I get a bill in the mail for the amount of $I call the agency again and Dora told me there is not

On July 4th 2018, I called State Farm after noticing my premiums were going upI asked for a lower rate, the woman I spoke to assured me this was the best rate and no further discounts were availableI knew I could obtain a better rate and told her I was canceling my policy; the conversation then endedI obtained new coverage with *** that same afternoonOn 9/25/I opened a letter from State Farm notifying me of my October renewalI called the office to ask why I was being charged and was told I never notified them according to their "office policy" in writing I canceledI told her no one notified me a written notice was required and no insurance company has ever required thisShe and Mr*** assured me that no refund would be given for payments in July and AugustOur written exchanges after the call from today are belowThank you
