Money was deducted out of my account after I cancelled policyI called them twice and visited them once to resolve the only issue, but to no avail

my car was rear ended by a state farm policy holderI have contacted state farm again and again to send someone out to appraise the damage to my bumperthey were at fault since I was waiting at a turn signal when there policy holder ran into me from behindthis is not in dispute, yet they will not return any of my emails or calls

After a careless driver insured by Sate Farm totaled my car they tried to fix my car at a minimum compared to what it would have cost to repair properly After multiple calls - beware: no one calls you, you have to call them - a month later they total my car which was obvious should have been totaled from day one! They tried to get me to accept this low ball repair offer In the end they gave me no option to accept an amount on the total loss that didn't cover the actual loss of the vehicle if you deemed it to be in the worse condition which was not the case I will not be able to replace my vehicle with that amount, not even close to itbut it's take it or leave it They then, to add insult to injury, issued the WRONG amount on the settlement, checks issued in error to be exact, I had to let them take my car, hand them my keys and Title to the car and they said they would have a check ready Of course the check was issued for the wrong amount! They have cancelled the car rental and I still have not received funds which they advised would be received quicker by direct deposit They say it would be issued and received in hours, based on that they cancelled the car rental I called back that nothing has been received, they now say it will be more like days and they will not extend a measly rental! The "specialists" are rude, condescending and hang up on you EVERY SINGLE TIME! They have my car, my car key, my car Title and I have nothing!!! After a month of calling everyday several times a day each specialist blames the other and none take responsibility or do anything during a devastating time which was not even any of my wrong doing Their insured and their mistakes percent all the way! Even when they continue to make one mistake after the other including cancelling my rental half way and charging my debit card no notice! I suffered loss of use as they booked a rental at a place that had no cars and when I asked for compensation for the loss of use "specialist" Pamela at extension 7** said too bad! Disgusting! They will take your money every month, an outrageous amount but when it comes time to render the services for which you are paying them for they DO NOT PROVIDE the services!!! According to all the specialists I have spoken to, you cannot speak to a supervisor and they say they are communicating to them to callback but a month later I am still waiting When I call to say I have not received a callback they say they have triedI have had not ONE missed call! Completely devastating when you are dealing with the bodily injury to top it off, they should be more customer service oriented

I canceled my insurance with State Farm on the 30th of July I was already charged for the month of August on the 27thThe money was put back into my bank and I figured all was goodThey were going to charge me the prorated amount for the daysSaturday on the 4th State Farm once again took the full amount from my bank accountThis causes me to go into overdraftI was upset and got into contact with them which took a few triesThey told me that this was for State Farm to do when they don't get their payment even though they had already taken my money and then put it back and now took it back again with out my permissionThey had whole business days to stop that from happening and notify the billing lady to not charge meThey told me that this was all my fault because of when I canceledThey told me that I will get my refund in 5-business days minus the prorated amountI got my refund check today however instead of the correct prorated amount they were suppos

I had a policy from this insurance agent for $126.15/month for a month periodI changed addresses and was told I would have a $increase My increase renewal was sent in and was at $per month I was perfectly fine with this The insurance agent, without informing me, changed my rate to $per month with the address change They did not notify me or give me a reason whyThey simply said they made a mistake and charged me anyway I would not have continued with this agent had I known this

So she had to call again and make a statement for a third timeand then, with another agent, for a fourth time over the phoneState Farm insisted that the liability of the accident was with my step-daughter; and insisted that I pay the $deductible as the van is insured under my nameI asked that they review the case given that she said she stopped and was hit from behindand that the vehicle entering the gas station parking lot came in at a high rate of speedThe State Farm agent said they would look into it once my stepdaughter gave a statement about what happened for the recordNote that I am furious at this point as she had already given four statements to the claim agents Weeks later, they had to interview her again (this time making a recording of her statement, as they said there was no record of a statement ever being given)then they informed me that her statement had not changedThis was odd, as they claimed that they had no prior statementsSo, here we were, going on weeks, and five statements given to agentsand still no definitive resolutionMy stepdaughter had to call one more time and give yet another statement to a claim agent higher up in the corporate food chainsome sort of team leader In the final analysis, State Farm insisted that the fault lie with the person backing upeven if they came to a stop, and even if they were hit from behindThat's Ridiculous!
Look, it's not about the money I had been with State Farm for a long time (with three vehicles insured and a homeowners policy)-- a loyal customer for plus years I've paid in approximately a quarter of a million dollars in insurance premiums over that time, and had very few claimspeanutsand paid my deductible without ever complaining Given that my stepdaughter is relatively young and now had an accident, our insurance premium on the van just doubledand after being a safe driver and having someone hit her from behind Now she has an accident on her recordUnfair, especially for someone who worked so diligently to be a safe driver, completed driver education, and the State Farm safe driver program for young driversIn my opinion, State Farm Insurance is all about the moneybut they will no longer get any of mine I have switched companies and encourage others to do so Buyer beware! I have had some Financial Hardship and I was advised if I couldn't make a payment I would have a laps in coverage I said was fineThen I make a payment on May 3rd and then Sate Farm took $out of my account with out my permissionSo I have no money to buy food or feed my family my husband is disabled and I have a childSo I call and ask them to return the payment and was told oh well can't do it and try and blame me for account being past dueWhen they clearly told me it would be ok can't believe the horrible experienceIf you ever become past due make sure you don't have a card on file unbelievable

In November 2017, I contacted State Farm (Delores Clemons - Agent) to inquire about car insurance The representative gave me a quote that was in fact lower that what I was currently paying and I agreed to go through the process I paid $for car insurance (and life insurance, was told it was a bundle deal) I inquired as to when I should drop my current insurance and was told that I shouldn't drop it yet and they will handle that once everything has been confirmed A couple of days later, I was told that the underwriter would not insure my husband, therefore I could not get coverage under State Farm So, I cancelled the life insurance (as it was all presented as a package deal) This was around Thanksgiving I have not yet received a full refund for the car insurance - only for the life insurance (and with that they took $for processing fee) I understand that it is a nominal fee, but it is a fee that I don't think I should have to pay
