I ordered from Morgann Hill Design Center , I got a groupon and placed order over a month ago. I have contacted them via email on 10 occasions with no reply ever. I had to pay out of pocket, over and above the groupon, for shipping and nothing!! No reply to my emails and their phone number is disconnected. I've requested a refund from groupon and will now call my bank in hopes of reversing shipping charge back to my card.

Review: Despite, numerous attempts to reach out to the business, I heard nothing in a timely fashion, and when I did it was a generic form e-mail that gave no specific info on my order. Phone numbers were not published on the website, but when I researched online and called, it was not working. The only avenue they give the customer is a "ticket" system on their website. I used that form, but never had a response in the last 8 days, despite multiple inquiries being made.

When I ordered my product it was advertised as GUARANTEED to arrive by a certain date. They did not update their advertising or ordering site to be honest with customers about the shipping delays. I received notice the day before the end of the delivery window that it was only in pre-shipment and may not even ship until up to 7 days time after the delivery window.

In the one automated response I received, they wrote: "We would also implore those who are voicing concerns and dismay on social media and ratings websites to understand that we are a small business, made up of real people who have put their heart and soul into hand crafting each of the pieces you have ordered and ask that you consider this when providing your feedback. "

I am giving my honest account of my experience as a customer of this business and my efforts to responsibly resolve them. Unfortunately, there was no response from the business and the truth is that they did not deliver the advertised product in the guaranteed window.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the product I purchased, as well as reimbursement for shipping paid.

Review: I ordered from the company on October 16 and have yet to recieve the product even though it was only supposed to take 3 weeks. I contacted customer service, and they told me to wait a bit longer. This has not just happened to me. Many people who have ordered from them are now experiencing the same problem. Morgann Hill is also no longer responding to any phone call or email from their customersDesired Settlement: They need to either give us a FULL refund (including the living social deal) or send us the product and refund us for the 10 shipping.

Review: I purchased a voucher via [redacted] back in October for monogrammed wall hanging from this company. I have never received the item. I contacted the company 23 days ago in regards to this issue and never received a response. I paid $25 for the voucher, plus an additional $9.99 for shipping on an item that I have never recieved.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the amount of the voucher ($25) plus the cost of the shipping ($9.99) for a total of $34.99.

Review: I placed an order on 10/29/14 through [redacted] for a customized wall hanging from Morgann Hill Designs. I emailed them in December (no phone number on website) to find out status of order (this was a Christmas Gift). I got an email on 12/17/14 that it was in “pre-shipment”, to allow 1-7 days for the tracking number to update. The link never worked & still doesn’t work. I cut & paste the tracking number to the USPS website & found that it departed Fall Brook, CA post office 12/18/14; anticipated receipt date 12/22/14. Never to be seen or heard from again. I contact my own local post office they said all they could find out was that it originated in CA & has not another single track since leaving there so it is still in CA somewhere.

On 12/29/14, I email Morgann Hill Designs again to tell them I STILL hadn’t received the package & relayed the information I received from my post office. On 1/2/15, I received this boilerplate email:

“Thank you for contacting us regarding your order. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience & delays. I see according to your tracking number it appears your order should have been received. We are working very closely with our local Post Office to rectify this issue. If your tracking number does not update within five business days, please let us know & we will reship your order. Thank you kindly!”

I replied to them immediately telling them that the problem was on THEIR end in CA & that the package is still in CA, how disappointed I was, etc. I wish I had checked Revdex.com before ordering & I would have seen that MHD has 34 filed complaints against them in the past 12 months, 29 for Delivery Issues. They now have one more.

I'm done with MHD. On January 14th, I told [redacted] to get to the bottom of it or get my $30 back from MHD. Without hesitation, [redacted] immediately refunded my $30 in the form of a [redacted] credit (would still rather have the item). It is now 1/16/15 & no more emails or shipping refund from MHD.Desired Settlement: Since [redacted] has already credited me $30, I would like refund of shipping charges of $9.99 (which really doesn't even cover my aggravation).

Review: I placed my order with this company 12/12/15. I was informed by the company that my order would be shipped in 2-4 weeks. It is now 2 months later and I have not received my order, cannot get the company to respond to my email inquires in a timely manner, the one reply I did receive said the order would be shipped in 5 days, I still have not received it. They have no phone number listed to contact them, and the latest email I sent came back as undeliverable and said their mailbox was to full to accept my email. No doubt full of complaints by other ripped off customers. They charged my credit card & cash in my [redacted] a long time ago!!!Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed for my [redacted] purchase price of $30 plus the $10 they charged my credit card for shipping!

Review: I ordered a personalized cutting board for my sister's Christmas present on October 15, 2014. Not only did the cutting board not make it to my sister by Christmas, which was almost three months later, but I never recieved any notification from Morgann Hill Designs apologizing for not following through with the order. I left countless tickets on their website because Morgann Hill refuses to leave a working phone number or email address. They do not respond to these tickets unless you work through someone like [redacted], which thankfully I did. The only way I was able to get Morgann Hill Designs to acknowledge my problem was by getting [redacted] involved and even now, after they've gotten involved, it is January 21, 2015 and my sister has yet to recieve the personalized cutting board I ordered her back in October of 2014. This is beyond ridiculous. I have never, ever experienced such horrible customer service in my life.Desired Settlement: Not only do I want them to finish the job and get my sister her cutting board but, quite frankly, I would like an apology. I would like a phone call or a letter from them stating that they messed up and that they will change their company policies. They will have it set up to where your complaint will go straight to someone's inbox and they will have a working phone number where you can call in your complaints. Also, considering I've been stressing over this for the last three months now, I would like some form of refund if at all possible from their company. However, the product completion must take place and the apology and change in company procedures is needed as well.

Review: I ordered a personalized wood cutting board in the beginning of Dec. 2014. Received about middle of January. Fine. Finish was not smooth and it was blotchy on the side that the name was engraved on. The other side should have had the name engraved on it as it was much nicer and smoother. I received it about the middle of January at which time I sent the email that I wanted it redone because the work was sub par; like a rush job because of the holidays. I received an email from them that was the email that I sent them (like they just sent it back to me). On 1/16, they sent me an email to send pictures, which I did. I sent another email and they asked again on 1/30 to send pictures, which I did again. On 2/13, I sent them an email asking what was going on since I had yet to hear from them and I still have not heard from them. I cannot give what they gave me as a present.Desired Settlement: Do the board the right way, so that it would be the gift it was meant to be. If not, refund my money.

Review: I placed my order on 01/17/16. It has now been over 7 weeks and there has been no change to the status of my order. The fine print says the item will be shipped within 3-4 weeks. I sent many e-mails to the company and a few responses were received with virtually the same exact words pasted in them, essentially telling me that I need to keep waiting because all their items are "hand made". This was supposed to be an anniversary present and this company has taken my money and left me with no idea of if/when I will receive my item.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for this purchase because I have not received it yet and I have no idea when it is coming. I don't even care if it comes at this point, I just want my money back because they just wasted 7 weeks of my life and who knows how much longer they would make me wait before shipping it out. I want my money back so I can buy a present from a company that knows how to properly do business.

Review: I purchased a customized monogram from this company on the 2nd of October. I still do not have the product despite the agreed upon 4-6 week turn around for this product. They have a total of 62 complaints showing on their own companies website where other people are having the exact same issue. Products have been paid for but not received. Review: I purchased a [redacted] (x2) for this company on October 10, 2014 and placed two orders with Morgann Hill Designs on that day. The terms & conditions per the receipts state that "All orders are custom made. Please allow about 3-4 weeks for your order to be created then shipped." SIX weeks after the order date I tried to follow up on my outstanding orders - the phone has been disconnected and the generic email I received back requested that a ticket be opened. On November 26, 2014 I submitted the ticket below. This ticket has since been closed yet I have not received a response or my shipments. My attempt at outreach on their facebook page has been deleted.

Review: on 11/30, I bought a special [redacted] offer for one of their custom wooden cutting boards, in the details as outlined in their [redacted] offer orders placed by 12/01 were GUARANTEED to arrive by Christmas. I paid $34.99, and then $10.00 to their website for "Shipping" costs, I placed my order with Morgann Hill Designs on 11/30 at 10:55am. Their website stated that they would contact me with shipping information when it was shipped. This item did not arrive by Christmas as guaranteed and when I checked the status of the item it still said "Pending", I then proceeded to send multiple email "Trouble tickets" to them to inquire on the status of the item which I received no response, after over a month passed I sent several more email "trouble tickets" to request a refund, which again all went unanswered.

I have tried to contact them multiple times and received no response. I never did receive an email that provided shipping information, on 1/16 I finally received the item and I was extremely disappointment, it was very poorly done and looked NOTHING like the image that they showed as an example.

My husband and I's first names were extremely small, so small that they don't even touch the line as shown in their example, our last name (in the middle) of the cutting board was so scrunched together that the letters actually overlap, and the established date at the bottom that signify the year that we were married is so HUGE that they are actually larger than any of the font on the cutting board.

I have sent them yet another trouble ticket requesting a refund, but I doubt that I will actually receive a response. After reading all of the poor reviews on twitter, I have learned that I am not the only one and that this company also goes by [redacted] on [redacted].

Talk about a horrible experience, I will never buy goods from [redacted] againDesired Settlement: I would like to receive a full refund $34.99 that I paid to [redacted] for this scam offer, and the $10.00 that I paid directly to them. I would like a check refund for $44.99, I would normally request to have the money returned back to my bank card but in this case I would not feel comfortable doing so with how dishonest this company has been thus far.

Review: I placed an order for 2 monogram wall hangings from Morgann Hill designs using [redacted] on October 31, 2014. After over a month of not receiving the item I inquired with the company and didn't hear anything for several weeks. Finally, I was told the items were backordered and should arrive before Christmas. When I was given a tracking number for each product neither was updated for weeks so I sent yet another inquiry with no reply. I finally found the store on [redacted] and submitted a message asking for assistance to which I was told someone would call me the following day which didn't happen. However, I received 1 out of 2 of the monograms on January 8, 2015. The monogram was broken and scratched in several places and the second one never arrived. I contact the company and also reached out to [redacted]. The monogram company never replied but [redacted] replied stating my order was one monogram (I have proof that it was for 2--the [redacted] explicitly states 2 monograms). I have pictures and screen shots to prove all inquiries and invoices as well as receipts for payment and proof of the damage to the item that was received.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the money paid to [redacted] ($55.00) for Morgann Hill Designs as well as 9.99 in shipping (that was paid directly to Morgann Hill designs) refunded.

I ordered 2 cutting boards on nov 27th. They didn't process the order til the 8th of December. I finally got my order on jan 10th. But it took a lot of tickets and calls to Morgan hill and groupon. I could never get a response from Morgan hill except for s mass email they sent out to everyone. When I called groupon, to complain about this company and their lack of communication, I was told by groupon, there were over 500 complaints against them. After all the time and inconvience I wasted on this company, my cutting boards came damaged. I have never experienced such bad customer service and quality of work from a company before.

Review: We got a groupon deal through this company selling personalized cutting boards in Nov 2014. We decided to get one for us and one as a gift. Morgann hill had a guarantee that if the cutting boards were ordered before December 5 2014 they would arrive before Christmas. The gift cutting board was for someone coming to visit us from another province in early January so we felt the cutting board would arrive in plenty of time. This was the first issue we had because as time got closer the cutting boards were not shipped. I emailed them asking when they expect them to be shipped and they responded saying they were hoping to get them all done before Dec 24th. We did not receive the cutting boards until January 19th and January 22nd. The person we were getting the cutting board for had come and gone so we had to pay $15 to ship the cutting board to them.

The major issue I am having is Morgann hill shipped the cutting boards separate. When they labeled each package the label stated there were 2 cutting boards in each package with a total value of $119.98 on each package. So anyone looking at each package would think there were 2 cutting boards in each package when there was actually only 1 in each with a value of $59.99 each. When the packages went through customs they both got tagged with duty accordingly. This means I paid duty on 4 cutting boards instead of just 2. I paid an extra $27.13 in duty.I contacted Morgann hill several times. They have yet to follow through with what they said they will do. They said there were going to send me an amended packing slip so I could get that money back. I have been contacting them every week or 2 since I got the cutting boards and now they are completely ignoring me. All I am asking for is a refund of $27.13 in the extra duty I paid however I feel with the length of time to fix this issue and the fact they won’t even talk to me anymore they should refund the extra shipping I paid as well due to the fact they made a promise and failedDesired Settlement: I would like a check from them for a minimum of $27.13 (the extra duty I paid) however since they are ignoring me I feel like I am also owed the addition $15 in extra shippping I paid to get the cutting board to who it was for after they failed to come thought on their promise of getting it to us on time.

Review: I ordered two cutting boards through MorgannHillDesigns ([redacted]). I ordered them 11/27. I have contacted this business on multiple occasions to see where my cutting boards are at. (12/30/14, 1/15/15). They indicate the product has been shipped and have provided me with a tracking number . The tracking information indicates:

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on January 2, 2015 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if/when available.

I do not receive any information from the business owner when I contact them. I want my cutting boards.Desired Settlement: I want my cutting boards. If not, I would like my money refunded.

I guess I should have read reviews before purchasing anything from this company. When I ordered it showed that the order would be delivered by 12/22/14.

I ordered 6 weeks before Christmas as a gift and the promotion thru groupon stated it would take 2-4 weeks. It got closer to Christmas and had not received and made several attempts to make contact with company and never received response. Very disappointing that Groupon would allow this business on their site as several customers have reported issues with them.

I WISH we had checked the Revdex.com before using this company. We bought a Groupon for them and wish I never even heard of them. We placed an order on 11/2 and the response was that it would be AT OUR DOOR in 30 -45 days. Well, we still have nothing. They have not responded to the 4 inquiries we submitted via their ticket system, their phone has been disconnected and their email address generates a generic email response blaming delays on them not expecting this much business. You cannot message them via Facebook, but I did send a tweet via Twitter to them, but of course...no response.

We ordered 2 custom cutting boards as Christmas gifts and will not be able to give them to my brothers this weekend.

I will be contacting Groupon and my credit card company for a full refund and I will never do business with the lousy company again. If you willingly offer deals and then due to the popularity of these deals, you don't ramp up your production, you FAIL as a business. Small business or not, they need to get their act together.

I ordered a custom cutting board on 10/01/14 for a wedding gift. I received an email on November 11th with a fake tracking number (that's useless) saying that the product would be shipped on November 12th. The wedding was November 17th, and I had no gift. :( It's now November 26th and I still haven't received it.
