I rented my RV and it was damaged during that time period I obtained a quote at $from *** Marine The quote cost would go towards the repairs to the RV Later, a dispute between *** Marine and National General regarding cost of the repairs I was asked by the Claims Adjuster to utilize a new company called *** and *** and if I chose someone in their network I would be refunded the $estimate cost
After contacting National General, I was informed they would not cover the cost They reviewed their recorded messages that only dated back day
Keep in mind that the repair took months to complete
I do have an email support for the argument between *** Marine and National General In addition, I have email verification that suggest utilizing *** and *** in support
They did a great job assisting me in a unique situation
I have been an insurance agent since and I have never done with a more unprofessional and rude company in my careerMy sister was rear-ended by a drunk driver with no lights in a vehicle insured by this companyThe driver fled the scene and had to be located by neighborhood securityThe police were called and a report filedThere was enough damage to knock the bumper nearly off the insured vehicleIt would seem like an open and shut caseWe were made aware something was wrong when my mother, who never filed a claim, received a denial letterThe company said it was denied due to "low impact" I called a spoke to a supervisor and was told it would be reviewed as I did not believe that it could be called "low impact" if it was enough impact to knock a bumper almost offWhen the supervisor called he advised me the accident never happened and said that my family made up the accident and picked their insured driver out of all of the driver's in Durham, NC to blame it onIt is now being review by a manager and I have reported them to the department of insurance
MARCH 27,I called National General Insurance with the intent of purchasing auto insuranceAfter speaking with Casey *** I decided on the correct coverageNext I listened to disclaimers read by Casey ***There was no reason to not complete the transaction at that time I gave Casey *** my credit card information and requested the annual billing and coverage to start on April 13, The annual amount to be billed $on 4/13/was agreed
Casey *** then stated my eldest son was not to drive my car Earlier he inquired if I knew Conrad and I said he was my sonCasey also asked if my son was married and how old he wasI answered the questions and giggled saying '' this is odd'',Why do you ask? Casey stated it was something that popped upSo we continuedNo further mention was made of my son until after disclaimers and credit card information was exchangedThat was when he stated my son was not to drive my car I stated my son had not lived with me in ov
When we purchased our RV, we joined Marcus Lemonis's Good Sam and signed up through their insurance coverage through National General InsuranceWe took our unit to Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates (IL) for an oil change and to determine why the "check engine" light was onThey told us that gasoline had been introduced into the diesel tank accidentallyObviously, we never did it deliberately, and it could only have happened if a diesel fuel pump was dispensing gasolineSo, it was accidentalBut apparently National General does not cover accidentsThey've said the repairs, which may be over $20k and WAY beyond our ability to pay, will not be coveredWe assume that the Mercedes service department is telling us the truth about the potential damage doneSo National General should pay the caim
Great Company to deal withBeen with them since Still doing a good job
I would like to share a terrible complaint regarding National General InsuranceThe company does not like to take in consideration when they are at faultMy policy was canceled due to their errorI can understand an error from anyone however it is the principal, and also to at least say I apologize for the experienceAfter speaking to a team leader, and a manager no one apologizedThe second incident a rep enrolled me in auto pay, then after working with her for an hour she state I do not qualifyHowever on the due date National General tried to collect a payment that put my account in the negative with a $feeOnce my bank sent a letter over, one rep saw the letter then the manger did notMy payment was adjusted however I never received the reimbursementThis company has a lot of inconstanciesPlease take notes of your conversations, whom you speak to and all of your dates on handThis is a terrible company that I will never return or recommend anyone toThis company sucks!!!!!
This company increased my insurance by over 100% this year! I have NEVER turned in a claim, don't smoke, have no pets, have fire hydrant directly across the street, and live within miles of fire dept I am retired and keep my home in excellent condition, always pulling weeds and keeping brush away from my property as well as treed trimmedThis is highway robbery!!
Best insurance company ever for Good Sam members,,you can have as many vehicles as you want and tagged in any state
Worst experience ever when I had an accident!! The adjuster assigned to my case was unprofessionalHe told me he had too many cases to even speak with the other insurance companyIt felt like he wasn't in my side and the accident was clearly not my faultI did not feel like he had my back, I was made the middle man because he was too "busy" to do his job
A customer of national general caused a wreck I was envolved in The police report plainly states it was caused by his actionsit happened over a month ago and they still say they have to do an investigation Meanwhile I'm stuck with no transportationI cannot get any other answer from themThis is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with
Excellent service & competitive rates - thank you very much !
I have been dealing with Imperial Fire & Casualty for a claim from 3-23-for almost months now According to my policy wall to wall carpet is covered My house is square feet and the whole house is not carpeted Currently Imperial is refusing to pay for matching carpet which is what I have in my home and had before the storm They claim Texas is not a matching state but my policy says replacement value and wall to wall carpet is on the endorsement I had one prostar adjuster tell me I could get it replaced only if I could prove they did not make my carpet anymore I can and provided the documentation from the carpet store I purchased the carpet from they discontinued my carpet in April I provided a letter from the carpet store as well as an estimate
I asked for a second inspection because many items were missed when they sent me a second scope they deducted money from the money they had already paid me to to help them cover the cost of what they would have
Dear National General and Scam Artist *** ***:
I was driving on the interstate and a deer literally RAN into the side of my carIt destroyed the entire
drivers side of it, it is not drivable (still)I sent in the claimI pay my bill every month and have with
NG for four yearsAnyway, Mr*** contacts me and tells me the process and that he would get in touch the next dayI had to send in pictures and my estimateThe damage to the car was $worthWe went to a well known auto body shop, and he went line by line, part by part
in the estimate So Jack knew each part I neededTwo WEEKS go by and I hear NOTHING from Jack ***He is an insurance "adjuster"So I get that thier job is literally to bring the estimates down so the insurance company, who I pay a rediculous amount of money toward, can come out paying nothing close to the estimateHe has been with this company for around eight short monthsI go onto my account online, and SEE that Jack has CLOSED the caseMind you, I have not even heard if they had SEEN the picturesI went ahead and called NatGen to ask them what the *** is going onThey tell me to contact JackI had called Jack, and left voicemails SEVERAL times mind youHe DID NOT call me backI told this woman thatSo she told me the only thing she could say was that a check for TWO thousand dollars was sent outTWOI have SEVEN thousand dollars worth of damage!!!!!!!!
So, I tell her to send me to escalationsThen I called Jack (it was night by then so I left a voicemail)I asked him why they are treating a customer, who has NEVER had an ACCIDENT, or TICKET AND who has been driving WELL OVER ten years, like this?
I told him that I was sick of the games, and luckily I record ALL of my callsI told him that I have been a loyal customer, and this ONE time I need MY insurance company, they treat me like garbageNow, before all this, my agent had told me that Mr.*** likes to scam women because he assumes we are all ignorant to how all this worksI made sure I mentioned that to him as wellSo, he calls me back in the morning (FINALLY) and tells me what I already knew, about the checkHe told me to take it to the shop and I told him that would NOT cover the damagesHe proceeded to tell me (this is ALL recorded btw) that they DEFINITLY know there will be a supplemental claim, so just go aheadWhy not just give the proper estimate NOW rather than wait?
So when I recieved the check, I also recieved a letterThis INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL guy literally dated the letter he sent for NINE days before I recieved itNINE DAYSNow, this is important because on this, he had that I had to fix the car within EIGHT DAYS in order to file a supplemetal CLAIMSo here I am, with a broke down car and a worthless checkI have two children, a job and no vehicle because this company royally screwed me overThe envelope was post marked for two days before I recieved it, so he ignorantly thought I would not have that proofI will NEVER recommend National General (formally GMAC) to ANYONEI have gone through *** and backI have always been a safe driver, and now that I need to access my insurance.....I got screwedDo NOT go through themThe guy that did the estimate, who National General goes through in this area, is obviously paid offThere is no way anyone with common sense would deem all
this damage so littleI HAVE HIS NAME, and will be sharing that soon as wellJack ***, I have lost so much simply because of you**Sharing this EVERYWHERE**
I have been with National General insurance for about four and a half years nowAbout three and a half weeks ago I gave customer service a call about stopping my draft payment because I didn't have the money in my account to pay them on the tenth of April but would have them their payment on the fourteenth of April when I got paid from my jobThe representative let me know he had stopped draft payment and everything was fineTwo days later I called my bank account and my account was over draftedI called customer service back again and let them know of their mistakeThey informed me they would have to review the audio tape to see if the representative was in the wrong or meTwo days later I call them to find out he was in the wrongAll I had to do is email or fax my overdraft statementI faxed the statement a representative told me to give it to hoursI did that gave them a call two days later and this representative said give them to hours to review statement this was on a Wednesday I called that following MondayGuess what we reviewed the statement but we know need to business days to send you your $over draft reimbursementI told them that wouldn't work for me I needed my money the representative then stated we will overnight you a check and it will be in your mail box no later than this WednesdayWednesday came no check call back now they tell me we do bulk overnight mail only on Thursday's so your check will be there by FridayThis company don't care about customer service at allWhen you make a honest mistake own up to it pay your debts as soon as possible people out here is struggling from check to check and companies out here making millions of dollars and robbing folk just because they canI have five kids a wife two dogs we both work for our money no hand outs at allSo why is a million dollar company has a nerve to have his/her hand out
My RV has been sitting in a shop for days and can’t even get started because their estimate was 10k shortThey haven’t gotten back to the shop, and seem to be purposefully dragging their feetIn the mean time ( It is my home) I am in a makeshift housing arrangement and they know this! ??
We recently bought homeowners insurance through them and their customer service is excellent, pricing is excellent and what I loved most about them is the speed
Absolutely the best most friendly, prompt and knowledgeable customer service reps everI can always get through to someone immediately, they always help and are always very friendly and professional! They make it personal and make me feel valued
RV (Motorhome) Insurance purchase reviewThis review is for the purchase process, will review service/claims if we end up with oneJust purchased RV insurance thru NGIC (Good Sam Club affiliate), process was a bit lengthy by phone but we had NGIC on our Airstream and appreciated their options on the coverage side, and responsive service on the claims side
This is the worst Insurance Company in the country and operates at borderline criminal levelsAll you have to do is google National General Reviews and see thousands of negative issues They are the worst to deal with if you have claims How in the *** can Revdex.com give them an A rating with the reviews like they have It tells me that Revdex.com is a shame and I can no loner trust their ratings! Those of you who say they are outstanding to deal with obviously has only dealt with them on a level of giving them money....they are sweet as candy! Wait until you have a claim and need them to give you money, your tune will change like mind and the thousands online that have submitted negative reviews on many, many websites!
