My car was hit by a driver insured through National General Insurance The official Myrtle Beach SC police report(***) clearly states that I DID NOT CONTRIBUTE to the accidentThe underwriter Hannah *** (Hannah.***@ngic.com)who handled my claim(#***)
was not only extremely rude, but refused to connect me to her immediate supervisor; she would not even provide me with her supervisors name so that I could make a formal complaint or pursue my claim further
Hannah *** told me that even though the official police report stated that I was not the contributor to the accident, Her decision was that I did contribute to the accident and therefore, offered me only 80% compensation for the damages to my vehicleMike McCune, who compiled the estimate on behalf of National General Insurance, did not fully record the damages to my car either

Horrible company, warning, do not sign up with this outfit Wife was in a car accident, not her fault The guy that hit her admitted fault His insurance has been taking care of us I didn't think his settlement was fair, so I turn to my insurer, National General, formally Standard Mutual I figured they would have my back Not so I had an estimate of $10,to fix her car The other insurance was going to pay $to get it fixed I turned to National General, they sent out some fly by night private adjuster that said the car could be fixed for around $7900, and that's all they would pay Then the medical part Said that they would pay up to $in medical Wife had an ambulance ride Total cost was $ Was told I would have to get a lawyer to get anything over $5000? Don't they have lawyers? Anyways, I went back to the at fault company, I put the pressure on, hopefully I get this thing settled My insurance expires in a little over a month, I will be shopping around after this fiasco Negative stars if there were such a thing

Avoid insurance with this companyMy daughter tires were stolen off her brand new vehicle in my families driveway carport on 1/2/and is blocking a vehicleJill Y*** told me it will take 24-48hrs for the adjustor to come out to do a report I called the police and gave the insurance company the police report number and the officer said this is happening frequently and they have a suspect in mindI had to call the Jill Y*** back on 1/10/because the insurance adjustor (William D***) that was assigned to my claim said he was not handling my claim because he is in Charollett, NC and he was not coming to Maryland to do a claimI called the Jill Y*** back and she said "oh yeah", I see in the system he is not assigned, so the process has to start over and it will be another 24-48hrs and they have to hire an independent contractor to come do a claim report On 1/17/the independent contractor (***) came to do the reportHe said the report would be sent to the insurance company that nightHe asked me where were we when the incident happened? I told him my family was in the house sleepI was asked by Jill Y*** what was the reason for the car being at/this addressIt was New Year's day and we were celebrating I called Jill Y*** supervisor(Adrian D***)to complain it was week and the vehilce still is in my families drivewayI've asked several times to have the vehicle told because it was blocking a vehicle in the carportWhen I called Jill Y*** back to find the out status, she tells me I am being investigated and they ran a background check, and the back shows there are two other people living at my address that I did not report on my insuranceThat has nothing to do with my daughter's care being repairedJill went as far to tell me they are doing a background check on me and I may be dropped for not adding my brother and son on my auto insuranceNeither of them lives with me they just using the address for mailing purposesJill told me they will not repair the vehicle until the investigation is completeI filed a complain with the Maryland State Insurance Commission Board*** *** called me on 1/18/and she said she was waiting for the insurance company to respond to my complaintWeek and the vehicle is still in my family drivewayNow the police have knocked on my family members door because the car is abandoned and the neighbors have complainedHOA is demanding that the vehicle be moved This is embarrassing and National General Insurance does not take care of their customersThis is unsatisfactory service and I will not continue to do business with themI am being prejudiced against, racially profiled with the people I have been dealing withThey think I had something to do with the tires been taken off my daughter's car This is my first claim and this is how I am treatedThis is disrespectful on so many levels At this point, I need to get a lawyer involved Me being investigated because I "on" did not add my brother and son to my insurance is an excuse for them not to pay for the damagesI will also be filing a compaint with North Carolina'd councilmanI will not suggest you do business with this insurance company

Terrible company, damn near impossible to talk to a human being, even then they just transfer you around forever, and they aren't open on the weekends so good luck trying to buy a vehicle over the weekend cause you can't
